I know this electric kettle is pricy, but it is worth it. It looks beautiful sitting on my counter and is so quick and easy to setup and use. We have used ours regularly since receiving it and haven't had any problems with it. It is very sturdy and the gooseneck spout allows for precise pouring. I debated getting one of these for years—and I’m so glad I finally pulled the trigger. This kettle has exceeded my expectations. I love that it doesn’t just boil water, but also maintains a set temperature—perfect for pour overs and other precise brewing methods. The altitude setting is a brilliant feature and has completely solved the boiling-over issues I used to have with my previous kettle. Really nice kettle, however its a hazzard, i brew coffee about 3-4 times a day, and 1 on 5 times the temp control fails to stop heating and the water starts to go out from the top like jumping and I have to quickly react to turn it off. The problem is that this is my second kettle, i bought one in 2019 and start facing the same issue (less frequent) and as was not that frequent I kept it that way for few years, i recently decided to change it as it was also out of warranty , so I bought new one, this time the new upgraded version, however same issue and happens a lot more, my wife is even worried and ask me to find a different manufacturer, asking to chat gpt states there are several reports and recommended the bonavita. Will try that one.

I just switched to manual coffee brewing and loose leaf tea steeping to get the last bits of plastic out of my life, and this kettle is the lynch pin pulling all of that together. This kettle is really nice and heats up really quick. The build quality, feel, and finish are superb, and it looks really good sitting on the counter. I really like that I can set a schedule so the kettle is already hot when I wake up. It's really simple to operate on demand, simply push the knob down and it automatically starts heating to the last temp you had set. If you want to change the temp, you simply turn the knob left or right after pushing the knob to turn it on. The chime feature is nice but it's really quiet even on the highest volume.

great kettle. my only regret is that it took me so long to decide to buy! I think the price point made me hesitate but so happy with this purchase. The small footprint, the settings, the pour of the well designed spout, the speed with which it gets to temp - oh, and easy on the eyes.

I ordered this kettled because the reviews were so good. There is so much positive hype about it that I was almost okay with spending $200 for an appliance simply to boil water. The design looks great, and many other brands now have the same design for a lot less expense. The huge problem with this kettle is the functionality for turning it off. There is a "hold" function, which when enabled keeps the water at a constant temperature. When "hold" is disabled, the water gets to temp then the unit turns off. This is fine. The stupid (and unsafe) thing about the design is that as soon as you lift the kettle to pour, then place it back on the base, it starts heating up again. The instructions say that heating an empty kettle can cause permanent damage (and is a safety hazard). You have to manually push the power button to turn it off. This is unlike most other kettles, which turn off once boiling. Everyone in my family who used this kettle did the same thing: boil water, the unit turns off (since "hold" is disabled), pick up the kettle to pour, replace kettle on base and it starts heating up again. Such a stupid design, unsafe design.

Loving it so far. Had it for 4 months. Heats up quickly, holds the temp great and I love that you can adjust to the degree. It’s beautiful and the handle is nice to hold. I use filtered water so I’ve had no build up at all. It’s also quiet compared to other kettles I’ve had. The neck is my favorite part because it pours so precisely.
