I do list the washing for these in the dishwasher (yes, I know. Non stick. Hand wash only) and they still hold up nicely. I do cook with a little oil each time and occasionally I’ll get a few things that stick. But for the most part these are very nice and hold up great.

So. It's non stick, which is great. The nonstick surface will be scratched if one does not use rubber or plastic utensils. I use an electric stove and there was the smell of some chemical burning for the first few uses. I also was missing the cookie sheet. One other thing, the finish at the bottom was ruined when I put them in the dishwasher. Otherwise, the set is nice, and the champagne color is really pretty. ... show more

    • Color is not as pictured, the set is definitely non-stick though.
I knocked stars because I bought this set specifically for the color, however they definitely appear to be a matte silver in person. Not sure if they sent me the wrong color or what but I decided to keep it to avoid the hassle. Despite the color - the pans seems to be a good set, I cooked a very messy dinner and put the pots and pans through the dishwasher and they came out spotless. Made some eggs this morning and there wasn’t any mess, aside from a bit of butter, left on the pan after. Non-stick and dishwasher safe was mainly what I was looking for and this set fits the bill. ... show more

Perfect size for 2-4 steaks, salmon etc. gets nice and hot for searing steaks! Easy to use, assembly takes a little time but well worth the effort! We put foil in the bottom to make it easier to clean. Easy size to store away when not in use!

I enjoy sharing my reviews of items I’ve purchased on Amazon. Customer reviews are helpful, informative. I often base my purchase decisions based on reviews. That said, I have always had one major issue with Amazon reviews. Namely, is one’s review about the PRODUCT or the SELLER? Amazon allows no way to differentiate. For this PRODUCT (Farberware) I’ll give it 4 stars. For the SELLER (shipper) I’ll give 1 star. I’ll explain…. PRODUCT: 4 stars. Years ago I bought a set of Farberware in copper color. I abused it. It held up but, given my abuse, it stained. (Plus, I grew tired of it.) So I decided to buy the same thing in a different color. Champagne. Who doesn’t like Champagne?!? Alas, I digress… I’ve read many reviews of Farberware products. Reviews range from 1 star to 5 stars. Here’s a hint to prospective buyers…. If you want a $500 set of cookware don’t expect to buy it for $50! My Farberware works just fine for me (frying eggs, boiling potatoes, heating soup) but if you fancy yourself a gourmet chef or want a set of cookware to last a lifetime, go elsewhere. Go spend $500! SELLER: 1 star. Sadly, my order arrived damaged. (By reviewing my Amazon order, I cannot determine who the seller was. All my order states: “ships from and sold by Amazon.com.”) The outer, shipping, box was undamaged. The inside, product box, was clearly damaged before shipment. Clearly something heavy had been dropped on the box, torn a hold in it, and tape had been applied to close the hole. The hole presented no problem but the item inside the box did. The baking sheet/cookie pan was bent, ruined, and went to the garbage. Reporting the damage to Amazon they refunded a portion of the sales price. Still I am left wondering, considering the pre-shipping damage, is Amazon selling seconds? ... show more
