This rug has superpowers. No matter whether glasses of red wine or cat puke, this rug recovers from all! We've simply used a solution of water and white vinegar rubbed with a cotton towel and the worst comes off in seconds, even from the white part of the rug. The only substance that hasn't fully disappeared is mud. Truly incredible! The rug is also softer and plusher than I had expected; I like running my bare feet over it. We ordered the bright color and it works beautifully as a statement piece with our grey sofa and blue chairs - we get so many compliments! ... show more

I can't speak on the stain resistant or cleaning it, as I just got it. It came earlier than expected. Pack very well. At first I thought this is to good to be true due to the price!
