I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: Seems like a Hose Nozzle can be such a simple thing, and yet it's so hard to find one that actually works, and then lasts long enough to pay for itself. I've been thru so many cheaper plastic hose nozzles that I am amazed to think back. Even nozzles with brass inside or metal casing seem to have enough cheaper parts or plastic that they just do not survive very long. They are dripping, or spraying badly, or they break and need replacing. I ran across this ALL METAL nozzle a few years back. Didn't have much expectation that it would be better than others. But I was amazed at how heavy duty it felt and how good it worked. Now as I was putting it away for the winter, I realized this is the 3rd Winter now that I've disconnected it after using it for 3 summers and it is still working and looking like it did the day I bought it. I leave it connected outside 24/7 from Spring until Winter. That made me realize this nozzle might be worth what it cost. SO, I just bought another emergency back-up of this same brand/model because usually when I find something I like, I go back to get another years later and it's no longer made. What I'm saying is, I like this nozzle so much I bought a second either though the first one is still working great. That's how much I like it. I do recommend this item. Good Luck.

This is a well built sprayer, and functions perfectly. The only issue I ran into was how the grip fit in my hand. It has a very small profile and I constantly felt like I was fighting the hose to hold it straight.

Frankly, I was skeptical about this hand-held, non-powered sprayer that attaches to a typical garden hose. TEST TRIAL RUN I attached the sprayer to my new 5/8" garden hose, turned on the water at the source, and inspected the hose (50 feet) along its length, and also at the connection to the sprayer for any leaks - there were none. I then pulled the trigger. The sprayer gave a sudden bit of a kickback, and immediately, water was shooting out the adjustable brass nozzle with very good pressure (I didn't measure it with a PSI gauge). Using the adjustable brass nozzle I was able to adjust and send a sharp stream of water at least 15 to 20 feet away from where I was standing. STREAM WIDTH AND INTENSITY The width and intensity of the stream can be adjusted from a sharp (essentially zero degrees width) stream of water to a very gentle wide spray by turning the solid brass nozzle. The narrower the stream width the more intense it will be, and visa versa. CONSTRUCTION QUALITY It's says it's a all mental, one-piece construction. It is solid and it feels hefty, not cheap at all, but it's not heavy to hold either. WATER LEAKS The connection of the hose to the sprayer did not leak at all. Neither were there leaks from the adjustable nozzle indicating a well designed leak-proof design. RUBBER WASHER The sprayer I received had a rubber washer installed on the connection that goes to the garden hose, and it came with two additional washers. OVERALL This is an outstanding hand sprayer that in my opinion, rivals a number of electric power washers. If you're going to use it for washing cars it is excellent. For other around-the-hose cleaning it's also quite good. If there's anything to complain about with this spray attachment it's just this: It would be even better with a rubberized handle grip... and that's the reason I purchased the 2nd one with a rubber grip... The same maker has the very same sprayer but one with a rubber grip, same model otherwise. I have not yet received the one with the rubber grip but I will be reporting on it after I've tried it and likely will update this review. Would I recommend this to a friend.... ABSOLUTELY ! Just be sure to follow the instructions not to store in a cold place, especially below 32' Fahrenheit.

Using this on our hose in the farm shop. Cheaper plastic ones never hold up. This one has been on about 6 months and so far is holding up much better being all metal. Does not leak so far either. Would recommend if you need a more durable nozzle.
