We absolutely love this fan! It is super quiet and works amazingly well keeping it really cool in our house! My daughter and I suffer from heat intolerance due to medical issues and this fan keeps the air flowing and cool! I have to have a fan in every room! I replaced my 20 year old ceiling fan with this one and it is a HUGE upgrade and difference in the air flow and also in the quality of light! I love how there are 6 speeds and also several different variations of light! I also love the remote control so I don't have chains to pull like the old one, especially since I can not reach above my head due to arthritis and other medical issues. We got 3 of these fixtures for various rooms in our house. The variety of options for lighting and fans makes it easy to adjust the lights as needed for the room. The fan is quiet. Installed within an hour. I installed the blades and light first, then hung it on the bracket. Nice fan overall I just wish the light was a little bigger, but it’s still very bright for its size. You can also change the light colors from warm yellow to bright white, and I really like that you can control the fan with either your smartphone or the remote. ... show more

So I have replaced or added at least 8 or so fans in my lifetime so I am not an expert but been around the block a few times- but my first DC Fan It looks nice, was easy to install This is the best part I did not realize how energy efficient the new DC fans are ! I estimate my old fan drew 100watts of power and was noisy - the fan itself on the new one 30 watts tops - and the light which is bright by the way 20 watts- I got the specs from customer support. Speaking of customer support since this was my first DC fan I had some questions that were not clear in the directions and they were right there to help. The best part - other than a little noise from moving air - this fan is super quiet. Also I might add they did include a balancing kit if needed- no need put it together- first time I turned it on it was solid so to speak not a wobble at all. I actually ordered a second one. Oh one little thing that you should know - this particular model does not have separate wire for the light, and if you have the unit on a wall switch after being turned off when reapplying power only the light will come back on - you will have to use the remote for the fan again- I was used to my Old Ac Fan as the settings were pull chains or switches on the fan itself. We recently moved into a house with an add-on room. The room was not part of the main house's central air. We installed a window box unit, but between the size of the room 20x20, and the poor insulation that was used, the window AC unit wasn't quite doing the trick in south Georgia summer time. The room has 4 light fixtures equally spaced apart and so we bought 4 of these fans. The fans give our window box unit the boost in needs to make the room tolerable on hot summer nights. The fans themselves are great for the price, but installing them was a pain, partially because the instructions were lacking, and partially because some of the materials weren't really optimal. (The washers that were for use with the to bracket to an electrical box were too small, luckily we had larger better ones at home) Hopefully these fans will last of many years. I'm in no mood to install another ceiling fan any time soon. ... show more
