The functionality, ease of use, lightweight, noise level, pick up speed and quality of construction are all excellent, by far my favorite vacuum I have ever used. It is easy to charge- then can use for several hours. It is a great value for the money

    • Good for quick cleanups, as long as you have time between to charge
EDIT: About a year later, I have to say I'm now extemely disappointed. This was my daily driver vacuum and I liked it a lot... until my cat knocked it over and it stopped working correctly. When it fell, part of the handle fell off, but it seemed fine when I snapped it back on. Unfortunately, now it just makes really loud noises without actually sucking anything up. For the year it worked I liked it, but apparently a gust of wind and a hardwood floor are enough to render it useless. Bummer. Overall, this is a good vacuum, especially for the price. I got mine slightly on sale for a little over $100, and I'd say that's pretty good in comparison to other stick vacuums. Some people have complained about the short run time, especially if you vacuum on high power (as I am apt to do, for I have two shedding cats). My problem isnt with the run time - it's more than enough to vacuum my 850 sq ft apartment on high. I have more issue with the fact that it takes hours for the battery to recharge fully. I tend to spot-vacuum pretty frequently (again, the shedding cats!) so I do wish the battery charged more quickly, or that it came with a second battery like it comes with a second filter. Other than that, it's a good little vacuum. I got the blue and white one and I love the way it looks. It would be nice if the crevice tool attached to the vacuum somehow as well, but that's not a huge deal. ... show more

    • It Works! As Advertised!
I’m pleased that it performs pretty much as advertised. I haven’t pushed it to the limits of battery time, so that’s a positive. It starts on the medium setting, which is mostly sufficient for my needs. Sometimes there are stubborn bits on a rug, so I’ll switch to high, which isn’t always effective, but overall is fine. I’m always amazed at the amount of stuff in the cup. Our cat is a Major contributor, and this thing seems to pick up his fur easily. Every once in a while, the rollers will lift up a small rug, and they will turn off. It’s an easy restart to get over that. I enjoy the portability, and ease of pushing the head under furniture. No report on using the shortened version. I use another portable for those jobs. ... show more

    • Underwhelming over time - suction power degrades
Less than a year and the suction power fails. Out of the box it was initially impressive, but after dealing with tangled hair, the inability to clean the roller area and observing the suction power dwindling over time, I’m in search of a new vacuum < 1 year of owning this. I recommend 1-2 spare batteries to boost running time. Cat litter was initially no problem and now it cannot even pick it up in max power. It still picks up lightweight pet hair but only off hardwood flooring. It’s pretty useless on the area rugs over time. I am coming to realize, based on reviews on various models and brands out there, that cordless stick models are not long lasting which creates apprehension of investing in more expensive models. I’m now looking for a tangle free option with more power and longevity. This item does not meet these qualifications in the long run. ... show more

I had the opportunity to use that popular and very expensive vacuum of the same style for 2 months while at my sisters. I struggled to the point of leaving it for my BIL to pull it apart to empty it. It worked fine but not very practical. I didn't realize just how much I loved my Fabuletta until then. This is my second Fabuletta. First still works fabulously and this one will be for upstairs. It is light, the attachments come apart easily. It has a nice bright light that, in a darker room, shows you the dirt (had no idea the dust gathered so quickly) and then it picks it up in one swoop.     • Unbelievable - for the price it's great!
I cannot believe people pay $500, $600 and even one thousand for cordless vacs. With a $20 coupon, I paid less than $100 for this thing and it picks up everything. We burn wood and it makes a mess; and, we have three cats, but this vac picks up everything - small wood chips to cat hair in the carpets. The suction is great - I was anxious to try it so I didn't fully charge the battery (maybe 2/3rds) and ran it quickly in 5 rooms until the battery light came on. The container was full and my floors (carpet and hardwood) were clean. Unlike other cordless vacs that I have used this one sucked up debris in crevices (where the carpet meets the floor). I am not sure about durability as it's obviously made cheaply - so I plan on going easy with it. It's a good buy without overpaying. ... show more
