I bought these for support for my lower back with a pinched nerve. These do that job with flying colors. I do not like wearing a back brace and I wear thongs most of the time so i figured why not try these. After a 10 hour shift at work I still felt good and I had forgotten I was wearing them for the most part. These have very decent wide coverage up front and dry pretty quick. I washed mine on the delicate cycle hung to dry and it worked well. You probably could put these in the dryer on delicate or low, but I suspect it would shorten the life expectancy of the elastic in the waistband some. I am 5-6, have a 30 inch waist and 36 inch hips and weigh 148. I ordered a medium which is my normal underwear size. If I had need for more belly support from this product , I would have bought according to the waist size chart in the pictures. I only needed this for back support. I like the thick material on this item is made out of it helps keep my belly tight and in place (as a mom of 3 my belly isn’t as tight as it used to be). I will say that I do think this item runs a little small. I wear a size medium in shorts and any type of bottom 9 times out of 10 but this was PUSHING it. I’m overall happy with my purchase. The lines don’t show through my dress. It’s as comfy as a chub-sucking thong can be. Beware if you’re a shorter frame (I’m 5’4” on a good day). It causes some serious upper back rolls that wouldn’t be there normally, underneath your shoulder blades. I cut little slits right in that area and it relieves some of that roll. So I’ve tried a few of these from Target and elsewhere and so far this is my favorite. If you’re used to wearing thongs, you’ll be fine in these. I wouldn’t lounge in the house with it on but it’s not unbearable to wear like some reviews mentioned and I forgot I had it on after a martini lol what I appreciated the most, was that it was only a thong in the back the entire night I wore it. Every women knows how miserable it is if the front doesn’t stay where it should if you know what I’m saying and this thong holds it’s shape how it’s supposed to and I had it on for at least 5 hours for the event I went to. I’m 115lbs and 5’3 but I would look 3 months along without wearing this in a few of my dresses because I’ve always had a little pouch and this hides it perfectly and I didn’t have to remind myself to suck in all night for pictures. Most of the reviews got it right, the shape wear is very tight in cinching around the waist, but could do better with the fupa/gut area. I’m left with my gut poking out but a smaller waist which is not the look I’m quite going for. Luckily for me I don’t mind a bit of fupa, but if you have a bit more than a bit, you might want to look into something else lol. Also pretty difficult to get on especially with long nails. Overall could use more tightness around the gut area. Oh yeah and the wedges are painfully atrocious! Like hurt real bad so don’t wear them for too long or you might feel like you are splitting in two 😩 ... show more
