Remember how much of a pleasure it was the first time you got a woven fabric covered USB cable? How it just felt better, stayed looking good longer and how it was less apt to getting all tangled up with other cords? THAT feeling is exactly how I felt when I first held this hose. I knew I would love it just from that. I think this hose is a very good idea: make a hose that is lighter and more flexible and resists kinking by using a different material to contain the water flow.. but a different material that is thinner might bulge out or expand -- well not if it is wrapped in durable but lightweight woven fabric-- which is exactly what they did with this hose. Love it! The hose is one of the most attractive looking garden hoses I have seen. It has thick brass looking connector ends (I don't ever get the old school thin metal that bends and crushes so easily style hoses anymore so I was very happy that this hose has GOOD connectors -- connectors that accept a wrench, if needed, and connectors that don't simply crush into unusable dented metal if you step on them or they fall from a height. Each end of the hose has a length of reinforced plastic to help guide strain away from becomming a right angle when pulled perpendicular from the water connection and the hose comes with an extra soft plastic gasket so if you need to connect this hose to another hose missing that, you've got one. The hose is only 15 feet long, so it's not a long run hose by any means. I'd love a much longer one, but the hose lends itself well to being the end when connected to another longer hose that doesn't need to move much. This hose is perfect for the business end of your watering needs. It's lightness and kink resistance make it perfect for attaching a shower head or other end attachment for garden watering or washing a vehicle. As an added bonus, when washing a vehicle, the fabric outside covering makes it feel like it can slide across your vehicle if it does, more easily and with more gentleness than a stiffer heavier plastic hose. I very much like it and recommend it to anyone needing a short run hose.

This was the perfect hose for my 81 year old mother. I purchased a retractable hose in a mounted plastic housing for her thinking it would make life easier for her - but she did not have the strength to even pull it out. I got this for her and it has been a game changer. It is extremely lightweight, even filled with water...and it is flexible and easy to move around. The quality of the hose material seems to be good and the fittings are sturdy and threaded well with no leakage. I expect it to last a while!

This new garden hose (brand: Smainder) is unlike any others that we had used or are using. This is so lightweight! Our older ones are all made from PVC or polymer and weight so much. Dragging them across the lawn is hard labor. They also stretch and kink easy. Granted, those are much longer - ranging from 25 ft to 50 ft. This one is very flexible and easy to carry but it's only 15 feet long. It works with standard faucets. Since 3 gaskets (rubber washers) are included with the hose, I used two. Good seals with the gaskets ensure there is no leakage from connections to the faucet or to the nozzle. The outer sheath feels like fabric, it is soft and nice to handle. It also looks interesting with its snake-like patterns. This could be a negative to some users as the snake resemblance could be a trigger. It functions very well and feels very durable. The 15-ft length is suitable for connecting to our front lawn faucet to water bushes near the foundation. I really love the overall performance and the non-expandable material of this hose. I asked if other lengths are available from this brand (or seller). I definitely could use a much longer one in the backyard. Rufus suggested linking multiple 15-feet ones or to purchase other brands. I personally prefer one long hose as additional joints would likely open up higher possibility of leakage at any of the screwed joints. I'll keep an eye out for a longer version constructed with this non-expending hose material. I think It will be a joy to use a long but lightweight hose that is easy to carry and pull across the lawn for use on different garden tasks.

Pros I like: • Lightweight with a solid, quality feel • Seems made with high-quality materials that should last • More rugged than my previous hoses • Solid brass ends that held up after being run over by a four-wheeler • Doesn’t leak even when dogs play with it Cons/Notes: • None so far This is a great water hose that is lightweight and maintains that quality feel. It appears to be made with high quality materials that will make it last a long time. I previously had longer hoses but the kids always seem to leave them scattered about and they end up getting ran over or punctured or damaged some how. This one appears to be more rugged and would withstand more damage. The end pieces are solid brass and have already been ran over by a four wheeler and they maintain their shape which is great. The dogs also like to play with the hosepipe, most leak already. Not this one! Considering the abuse already, it's a 5 star product that will outlast other garden hoses.

This is a very nice garden hose that is amazingly lightweight compared to a normal rubber garden hose. This makes it easy to carry around and water various plants, wash your car, or anything that requires you to move around a lot. Unfortunately, the short length of this hose is also probably its biggest limitation. You can attach this short hose to another one if you need longer length to reach something, and you'll still be able to benefit from having the lightweight hose at the end of it. I didn't have any problems with water leakage at either end of the hose, even just being hand tightened. The spigot side of the hose comes with a silicone gasket installed, plus several spare washers came in the package too. The hose is easy to roll and unroll and doesn't have any shape memory. Overall, this is a great hose to carry around the yard when you need to move around a lot since it is so light-weight and flexible, though make sure that you'll be happy with the length.

I ordered the shorty garden hose. It's just 15 feet long. I like that it is a braided cord exterior not rubber. It's a nice stripe the colors blend with nature but the pattern stands out just enough to see it. Also it comes with 3 extra washers. I put those in a small plastic bag and stored them in a dresser that's in the Florida room (or enclosed patio). Since we misplace little things like that I try to store them as close to what they go to! I am hoping it with hold up better to the Florida sun than the plastic, rubber type of hoses. I have multiple bird baths in the back yard. Our current hose wasn't quite long enough to reach them all. We added the new shorty hose to the old hose. Now we have plenty of hose to reach the back yard areas. I have included a few photos of the product I received so you can see the details. Hubby is using it to hose down the back of the house. I definitely recommend the short hose if you need to extend an existing hose length or just have a small area you need to water in. It's a good value for the price point.

This is indeed "lightweight"...compared to most hoses, this is a feather. It is also ridiculously flexible, as evidenced by the tiny box it comes in. It isn't quite full garden hose diameter, so don't expect it to put out the same water quantity or pressure that a larger 3/4" hose would...but at 15ft, it is perfectly fine anyway. Very happy with how easy this moves, and will make much more use of it than the short run on the ground between two fountain local area sprinkler heads than expected.
