I needed a bike so that I could ride indoors for the Winter months. I didn't have a big budget and my husband found this spin bike on Amazon. I had a couple of sleepless nights before it arrived wondering how hard the assembly would be. For the record, I'm 72 years old and didn't feel like spending three days putting this bike together even though I am a DIY oriented person. I shouldn't have worried, it was a snap to assemble. The bike was so well packaged and the parts were so organized inside. The flywheel and belt were already assembled, thankfully. It was suggested to watch the YouTube video before assembling and that was a great idea. I probably had it all together in 30 minutes. What I'm most impressed with is the sturdiness and performance. This is not a lightweight piece of equipment. I've used spin bikes at the gym and this unit performs equally as well. A turn of the knob and you can smoothly change the resistance for a harder or easier workout. The LED screen keeps track of the basics of time, distance, etc. I love the tablet holder as I can stream TV while spinning. As for longevity, that remains to be seen but since I'm the only person using the bike it should last for good long time. This product is a great bargain for anyone looking to boost their fitness for not a lot of money. It's a perfect addition to my home gym. Review Update: Fast forward and it has been 3 1/2 months since I bought this bike. It is a gem. I have lost 25 pounds and feel great. I am closing in on 1000 miles and have increased the resistance considerably. I plan on keeping this up until I can take my road bike out in the Spring. The bike is just as sturdy as the day I put it together and it is so quiet I can watch TV while spinning. What a great way to exercise at home in Central New York where the Winter can be long and unforgiving. I'm so glad that I purchased this.

If you are expecting bells and whistles, high-tech piece of equipment that you will be paying for next few months, only to realize you have barely used it, then this bike is not for you :P All jokes aside, this is a nice exercise bike that gets the job done and it will not break the bank. It comes almost fully assembled, you need to assemble pedals and few other things, but it is not complicated if you follow instructions. It is sturdy and quiet. The seat is not most comfortable, but it is not a deal breaker. I did not like the caged pedals, so I just removed the "cage" and now my duck feet are free and happy :) The tension knob works great, you can easily adjust it and make your work out a piece of cake or crying for your mother. And that is it, for the price bike is excellent, no regrets here ;)

The media could not be loaded. The bike was fairly easy to assemble. I’m a dab-hand at assembling items from that famous Swedish homeware store, and this was really no different. Follow the instructions and you have yourself an exercise bike! Pros: 1. This is the first exercise bike I’ve owned but compared to others that I’ve used, for example the gym and at a friend’s, this bike makes a soothing shhhh sound when you pedal which I quite like. 2. I’m a fan of the cages at the front of the bike which keep your feet pretty well secured whilst you’re actually exercising. 3. I’m as blind as a bat and I can’t see the tv from where my bike is (I require distractions whilst exercising). This exercise bike has a tablet/iPad holder and a phone holder too! The phone holder is situated at the base of the LED display which I like greatly because once my phone is in that cradle I can’t clock-watch impatiently for the entire duration! 4. I like that the controls are quite sensitive, one small adjustment on the tension knob and it can make a noticeable difference. Good level of tension too. Cons/Points To Consider: 1. Maybe I wouldn’t say this was necessarily a negative thought, because I do really like this product, but the handlebars are configured like a racing bike. I’m 160cm and I really do have to reach to put my forearms on the handlebars as designed. I would recommend this product, I’m glad that I chose this over others available on Amazon.

The media could not be loaded. This bike took about a week to get to me. Not too bad for a large item! I received the box in good condition and started putting it together. There was a LOT of tape on everything, more than other large put-together-yourself items I've ordered in the past. This was annoying, but im glad it was all protected. The assembly was super simple and took less than 10 minutes to complete. Pre-ride, it is what I expected with any stationary bike. The seat is easily adjustable and sturdy, same with the handlebars. The handlebars have a place for my phone or my tablet, which I REQUIRE when riding so I don't get bored. The adjustable resistance knob is easy to turn and does not adjust itself when hard riding (like others I've bought). There is a water bottle holder in the middle bar and it's easy to get most sized bottles in and out of it, and my legs don't hit the bottle. Riding the bike, it rides smooth with no unnecessary wheel noises and the resistance pad doesn't make a loud "shhhhhhhh" noise when hard riding. The bike is super heavy and very stable, even for a 240 lb, top-heavy guy like me. The LCD screen is very simple and reads time, mileage/km, speed, and possible calorie burn. The timer stops when you stop pedaling, but continues when you start within a certain amount of time. You cannot connect any apps to it. The screen takes 2 AA batteries. Post-ride, it has wheels in the front so you can lift the back and move it to store it very easily. If you need to store it under something, the bars and seat come off super easily for storage. All in all, I wanted a simple stationary bike, and thats what I got! Affordable for something so heavy and sturdy.
