Terrible product. Breaks as u use it just like the other reviews say. Does no good for cleaning. Save ur money and buy a better product. I’m very upset I can’t return it. Requires manual strength, but collapses under needed strength and injury your hands.

I loved this, mainly because the price and actually worked with stains we had. Of coarse if you want to do a large area your arms will probably fall off, but for smaller areas it's great. Although it did break, we can't fill it with water/soap because it leaks. We do still use it, we put the water and carpet shampoo in a spray bottle and use the shampooer to scrub over it. ... show more

This shampooer really surpassed my expectations. I have multiple dogs and cats, so lots of accidents from poop to throw-up. Spots all over my lovely cream colored carpet. Many reviews I saw here and elsewhere complained about the machine leaking. I haven't had a problem at all. The carpet looks like new after using the Cascade Carpet Shampooer. It is such a simple design and not motorized so I wasn't expecting miracles... but that's what I got. I took one star off because it didn't come with the cleaning solution. I made my own using a quarter-cup Dawn dishwashing liquid, half-cup baking soda and a cup of white vinegar, which takes out the odor and prevents the animals from coming back to that spot, and filled the rest of the way with plain water. The full tank spot cleaned an area of about 7'x8'. ... show more

    • This is a carpet cleaner?
I was quite taken back at the size of the cleaner, but they say don't judge the package by it's size. So I set it up to clean my area rugs. It did not move smoothly on the rugs and did very little cleaning. The water leaks out when it is sitting still. I ended up with very wet rugs that of course smell from being damp. I am sorry that I used it and didn't send it right back. ... show more
