I had been looking for an excellent steamer to clean all my tile floors and after doing a lot of research found this one. My floors have never been so clean. When I would wash my floors with my old steamer I always felt dirt was left behind, and it was. I would wipe a spot with water after steaming and always would get dirt on it. Not with this steamer. My floors are squeaky clean and look it too. It has brought back the sheen I used to have when they were new. One tip I have found is if you can order more floor pads do as it cleans so well your pad gets dirty quickly and I think it is good to put clean ones on during steaming. One of the best things also is it seriously has cleaned my grout like nothing I've ever used. My husband was so excited he worked with me every evening after work for 2 nights to clean all our grout, we have eight rooms of tile so it was a project. He would use the machine with the grout cleaner attachment and I would be behind him with a mop cleaning the dirty water up immediately so it didn't go back into the grout. Most of our grout was awful. Should have taken before and after shots. If your up to it after cleaning it would be a great time to seal your grout to keep it clean longer. You will be amazed and so happy how it looks. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars for easy to use as you have to keep your thumb down on a button to keep it steaming continually. We found that very uncomfortable to do while moving the machine. Talking with the amazing customer service girl Nikki they are working on that and know it is a problem for some. They also are changing the floor pads to be a little thinner so it glides better on the floor. Believe me you will love how clean everything gets. had it 4 months and used it 3 times and it shoots steam out everywhere including the button you press to start steaming. for safety reasons i would not suggest this product . update , found o-rings are all falling apart , unable to contact vendor for a proper size . seller please respond

    • Decent steamer, easy to set up and use
My previous steamer used a bottle of hard floor cleaning solution (over multiple cleanings, not all at once) and left the floor very wet. Replacement bottles were discontinued, making the steamer obsolete. When looking for new steamers, I considered the M2R and the M4S. I settled on the M4S because of the additional attachments, one of them being a grout brush. The steamer was pretty easy to set up; take your time and follow the instructions. As you put it together, you will become familiar with the parts. After you're done assembling it, take the time - without actually using it - to familiarize yourself with the controls. It took me a few minutes to figure out how the buttons worked. There's only two of them so it's really easy to use. One button applies steam to the bottom (through the pad), and it can be locked to stay on (a full tank is supposed to last about 20 minutes; I have not had to put this to the test). The other button sends steam out to the front. This one can't be locked, but it shouldn't be necessary to use it continuously; all the cleaning action takes place underneath. My first use was cleaning a few spots on the carpet using the carpet pad and glider. When I filled the tank, a little bit of water (maybe about a teaspoon) spilled out before the bottle stopped draining (this also occurs on subsequent refills). I pre-treated the spots before running the steamer over them. It did a great job of removing them. I have also used the steamer twice on the kitchen tile floor. It does not leave the floor wet like my old steamer and dries very quickly. But the pad did stick to the steamer very tightly. The second time, the tab tore off of the pad while trying to remove the pad. I even had some difficulty removing it by hand. The steamer did a great job on the floor both times. There was one spot the second time that it would not get rid of, so a little hand labor was needed to remove it. I have not used it enough to experience the pad rolling under, as some other reviews have stated. I like that a cleaning solution isn't needed. I like the assortment of attachments. I will make use of the grout brush in the future. I like that the pads are machine washable. I also like that it can be used as a portable steam cleaner. It comes with a bag that all the attachments and a few pads are kept in. Tip: you can also keep the manual in the bag so it will be available whenever you need to look up how to use an attachment. One star off for the small spillage of water and the tab tearing off. But, overall, I am impressed with the M4S. Some people may find it to be a little pricey, but you do get a number of items and features with it. It is worth the cost to me and I would recommend it. ... show more

Wow what a great product works even better than expected. I would recommend you or even Jesus but this it works amazingly... I have a 160 pound dog who drools a lot so the hardwood and linoleum floors get dirty and this cleans and disinfectants 100 % clean... Can't live without it...

    • Quality product and size for most household steam cleaning needs
We received this product about a week ago, and my wife has put it to the test in cleaning our kitchen and bathroom tiles and glass door(s). She says it works well, but approximate 20 min steam time could be improved so that she can clean more area, without refilling and waiting for the steamer to heat up again, so hopefully, the tank can be expanded so the unit can run for say 40 mins, which will improve efficiency to get most household jobs done with just 1 filling without interrupting your work time to refill and wait for the unit to heat back up to steam level again. She also mentioned that the hose/wand could be a 2-3 feet longer so it can cover taller shower areas at the ceiling level (typically 8-9 feet high from the floor) without having to lift the unit up onto a platform from the floor. But for the most part she is happy/satisfied with this purchase. Looking forward to trying it out on our hardwood and tile flooring, as well as cleaning my automobile wheels in the near future. ... show more
