These stakes are working great after 1 year of use. Whe I installed the the had a tendency to pull up and out of the ground. I found that if screwed into the ground at an angle, the tension of the strap is impossible to pull straight up and "unscrew". Had this on my 14' trampoline for about a year or so now, if not longer (didn't feel like looking at purchase date) but survive dozens of severe storms of all varieties, 80 - 100 mph wind, and even being used on swampy ground all the while so they hold well. The straps are similar to thin seat belt material with just a simple clasp mechanism that leaves much to be desired but it works somehow, though I've noticed the belts loosened a couple times (most likely from the rougher storms) but a quick adjustment to fix that. I also tied the slack part of the straps to the screw in hook so that adds a double to the strength that's holding the trampoline down (trust me, the belts are longer than they'd ever need to be so it was actually a nice surprise. ... show more

We bought this for the summer storms that caused us to tie ropes to our tramp and trees. We didn't get the torrential storms we normally do to see if they hold, but at least I don't have to jump over ropes in order to cut the grass anymore.

I like how long these stakes are and therefore go in to the ground quite deep. Before I installed them, i read another review where someone used something else a pole in the center to make t and be able to tighten it down with both hands instead of just the little grip in the center and let le tell you, that was a lifesaver. I got my stakes down in the ground where you wouldn't see them if it wasn't for the straps. It's held up quite well though because we have had a few storms so far and it hasn't moved an inch, while other trampolines in the neighborhood ended up taking flight down the street. Honestly if you have a trampoline or anything else that would take flight during heavy winds, this is a MUST have!!! I also love that it came with an extra trampoline hook because we lost outs after we installed the trampoline so that was a nice added bonus. ... show more

Have had them tied to my trampoline for about a month and a half had a lot of bad strong tornadic type storms roll through that included hail and high winds and they held great glad I got them have had no issues and holding strong so far. Would highly recommend as my first trampoline I did not have something like these and needless to say it went flying first bad storm ... show more
