If only I had the patience to wait another day for delivery, I would have upsized to the Bonfire instead of this Ranger. It's cute, easily portable and works for what we need, but b/c it's the smaller size, your wood has to be smaller too to fit in it, which is a bit of a pain and inconvenience. None-the-less these solo stoves are amazing and I love that I don't end up with a migraine from campfire smoke. 9.8 out of 10 b/c its tiny!

A crowd pleaser. Be aware that it inhales wood. It burns hot and fast. You will have to keep it fed. Smoke is not a problem.

Very compact fits in my Motorhome storage bay. Quality made unit and cover. Burns very hot and efficient with very little ash left over. The only negative to this size unit is standard precut firewood is a bit too large , best to cut it in half.

If anything, they undersold this thing. It's heavier and sturdier than I expected and wow did it light fast! Now I'm thinking about paving a spot in the yard for the Yukon. Worth every penny for the quality and ease of use. I'm terrible at starting fires, and the last one I built smoked like all get out. Not this guy. There's some smoke as it gets going, but it's all going straight up like it's supposed to. No more running from smoke.

The "Ranger Solo stove" is awesome. It starts the fire quickly and burns efficiently. In the beginning there is some smoke but that goes away in about 10 to 15mins after ignition. I use alittle fire starter cube to get it going. 3 bundle of hard wood should last most of the night. (Burn for about 6 hours) Heat output isn't the greatest because all the heat is projected upward but good enough. Cooked some marshmallow to make Smores, and Spam just because. The thing is great. Constructuon so far looks solid and well built. I wonder if they're going to offer some sort of lid to extinguish the fire or a cooking rack system. So far we like it and it'll be a part of our camping gear we will take on our trips.

Works well enough and will create a significant size flame and good heat on a cold night. Smokes a bit like a normal fire until you get it going. It burns really hot once it gets going and burns through about twice as much wood for the same volume of flame of a normal fire, you'll need more than you expect if using it all night. It is very difficult to move when hot and can cause severe burns if touched. Takes a while to cool off about an hour or so.

This is so simple to use, it doesn’t take up much space. I use it for a quick 30 minutes and it’s perfect. If I want it to go longer, I can, but lots of times. I just wanna be out for about 30 minutes in the evening.

I have had the traditional - too smoky and you need a lot of wood. I have had gas- easy but never enough heat. This stove has very little smoke when it gets going and the heat from such a compact stove is amazing. And one of the best things about this stove it completely burns all the fuel- there is barely anything to clean up. Oh and lets not forget how lite it is. I just let it cool, pick it up and put it away. oh one more thing- ZERO embers fly out.
