I’ve been using the Eureka Cordless Vacuum with Smart Sense (NEC451BL) for about a week now and it has been working really well. It’s lightweight and easy to move around the house, which makes daily cleaning much easier. The auto suction feature is very convenient because it adjusts automatically between hardwood floors and carpet. The suction is strong enough to pick up dust, crumbs, and pet hair without any problem. I also like the anti-tangle brush, which helps prevent hair from getting stuck in the roller. Battery life has been good so far, and the HEPA filter is a nice bonus for keeping dust contained. This vacuum works well and is lightweight. It moves around corners and under stuff pretty easily. The battery life, however, is a joke. You’re lucky to get 15 minutes out of it on the middle power setting.

I bought this Eureka cordless vacuum for my mom, and it has honestly made her daily cleaning so much easier and more enjoyable. She absolutely loves it! First of all, the vacuum is very lightweight, which is perfect for her. She doesn’t have to struggle with carrying a heavy machine around the house anymore. The cordless design is also a huge plus—no more dealing with tangled wires or switching outlets constantly. She can easily move from room to room, and even clean stairs without any hassle. The suction power is surprisingly strong for such a compact vacuum. It works great on both our carpets and hard floors, picking up dust, crumbs, and even pet hair very efficiently. We have a pet at home, and the anti-tangle brushroll really makes a difference—hair doesn’t get stuck like it used to with our old vacuum. This is my third Eureka battery powered vacuum, and they keep making them worse. Look elsewhere for a battery vac. I’d even say try Dyson and I’m a never Dyson. It’s flimsy. Unlike the 2024 iteration (same approximate price) this one won’t click to stand up at all. Points off for that. Fortunately the old “Altitude” base will fit on this, so I can have a vacuum that sort of stands up, without the fancy brush roll. The attachments are also flimsy, but I have the 2024 iteration as extras. Which should not be a thing!! It comes with one battery. There is no viable option to get another, so basically you are buying a disposable vacuum. I have multiple pets, and a variety of surfaces, so I vacuum A LOT. I won’t bust Eureka on the fact that I’m replacing a 2 year old vacuum. Because I vacuum more than most people. The “manual” is a joke, both on paper and online. Why do these companies hide the specs? Oh, silly me. They hope we won’t look. Well, I do. And I give an F on their clarity and even basic 101 instructions for the naive. The power and suction are okay, but the battery life seems weak compared to, yep, the previous model. The one positive thing I can say is that there was no styrofoam packaging. Oh hurray. We’ll see how long it takes me to kill this one. And as soon as the environment killing battery is dead… it’s my last Eureka vacuum ever. Time to try Shark or Hoover or anything else. ... show more

Very impressed with this vacuum. It’s lightweight, powerful, and easy to use. The suction works great on my carpet and picks up pet hair without any problem. The anti-tangle brushroll really helps, and the different attachments make it easy to clean corners, furniture, and small spaces. Battery life is also good for cleaning the whole room. I really want to like this vacuum. It’s very sturdy and durable (I run into everything). The suction is pretty good and doesn’t clog up. The problems I have are the battery life is horrible, my place is small and I shouldn’t have to charge that battery every time in vacuum. Next the wheels are crap, I don’t even know what to say to that they just don’t like to roll. And last the part that spins has rubber blades instead of bristles. This works fine on wood or linoleum but my carpet and rugs it sucks or lacks in that area. Luckily this is only used for quick vacuums and I have a larger vacuum for the real cleaning. So if this is going to be your only vacuum I’d look elsewhere. ... show more
