Amazing! I barely ever write reviews, but this slushie machine is totally worth it. Quite easy to use, super intuitive. Love making my own slushies now that winter's ending. Machine runs quiet compared to my old one, huge plus. Looks sleek and feels really high-quality. Tastes way better than my previous machine—ice comes out perfectly smooth, no chunky ice bits.     • Cool in Theory, but MISSING RECIPIES!!

This slushie maker is fairly easy to use - pour the liquid in, turn it on, walk away - magic happens! There are a bunch of warnings about how the ingredients need to be just right in order for the slush to properly form. No chunks, plenty of sugar content, and a perfect ratio of alcohol all have to be just right. This is great warning, as you don't want to waste ingredients. However, there are a whopping TWO recipes in the instructions - and they are both alcoholic drinks. The machine makes a variety of things - milkshakes, slushies, etc. - but in order to make these things - you're on your own! I was able to find a few things online looking at a competitor's website - but it shouldn't be that hard. The manufacturer really needs to add a recipe booklet to the packaging for this to be a five star item. I even contacted Support - which was really fast at responding - although the instructions HINT at an 'Inspiration Guide' - all that contains is the 2 alcoholic recipes - not a 'guide' at all! Our milkshakes were easy to make, once I had a recipe, but again, trying to figure out the right proportions was tough - and I ended up making an excessive amount of milkshakes for 3 people. The slushies turned out better, but I only made enough for 2, and the drum got a bit frozen because I didn't quite have the mix right. It's really easy to use though, and super simple to clean. I really just wish there were more drink ideas WITHOUT alcohol for summer pool parties with kids. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This was a great buy for our family. The set up and first use instructions were simple and easy to follow. We chose the milkshake setting for our first use. The milkshake turned out great and everyone enjoyed the texture and taste. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it was ready. I can't express how much I love this slushie machine! It's so simple to use, easy to clean, and honestly, it's a blast. I was a bit disappointed that there weren't any recipes included (as stated in the booklet that came with it), but after some digging online, my family and I found a couple that we've tried out, and they were a hit! So far, we've made two different drinks, and everyone loved them. I just whisked all the ingredients together in a pitcher, opened the little sliding door on top of the machine, and poured it in. It’s really straightforward—you choose what type of drink you want to make, whether it’s a milkshake, frappe, wine, slushie, or cocktail, adjust the thickness, and hit “Start.” Both drinks we tried were ready in less than an hour, and when the machine beeps and the screen says “Cool,” you know it’s time to enjoy! Plus, it keeps everything at the perfect temperature and consistency for up to 12 hours. I can’t attest to this because the drinks we made disappeared way before then! Everyone loved them! When it came time to clean up, I was pleasantly surprised by how simple it was. I just poured in a couple of cups of cold water, hit the "Clean" button, and sat back as the machine whirred away. It was quick and efficient, beeping to let me know it was done before I knew it. Cleaning it out involved some easy steps. I pulled the side handle, dumped out the dirty water, and everything came apart easily. The main reservoir slid right off, and I removed the little "spring" that mixes everything up. There's even a small compartment at the bottom that collects drips, which is nice since it means less mess for me. After that, it was just a matter of giving it a quick wipe down and a very light washing the removable parts with soapy water. Honestly, I was shocked at how straightforward it all was. Overall, it's a great product that definitely delivers on ease of use and fun. I’ve already talked it up and suggested to a few friends at work that they “just have to get one!” My family and I can't wait to experiment with more recipes! For anyone looking for ideas, I’d be happy to share the two we've tried. This machine has definitely added some fun to our drink-making! Mocha Frappe’ 5 cups of black coffee 2 1/2 cups of half & half 1 cup mocha sauce 1/2 cup sugar -Whisk all ingredients in a pitcher, press "Frappe'" Top individual drinks off with whipped cream and drizzled chocolate syrup Orange Julius 4 cups of orange juice 2 cups milk (plain or almond) 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/3 cup sugar -Mix all ingredients in a pitcher, press "Frappe'" and up the thickness level Enjoy! ... show more

There are several instances where the instructions refer you to included recipes. If there was a recipe book included that would be simple. Since it wasn't it is impossible. Alcohol based drinks are quick and easy. Turning soda into a slushie easy-peasy. Making a milkshake using the non-existent recipes a total waste. I found an owner's manual (online search) for a different model of this companies slushie machine. It had a few recipes to try. One was a milkshake recipe. Followed it exactly. Except it said to use 1/2 cup of syrup. Doesn't say what kind of syrup. I used full sugar vanilla syrup. Got cold milk. Very flavorful cold milk. Cleans up easy enough. ... show more
