This is my first time having a slushy machine at home and we have tested it with different kinds of drinks and these are my thoughts about it: Placement: find a place on your counter where you have enough area behind it, so that the hot air that comes out does it without restriction when in use; otherwise it could cause troubles later on. Yes, it looks super cool and it is a fun kitchen gadget equipment to have; mine is light blue and it looks gorgeous on the counter. Assembly and normal cleaning and maintenance: super easy. Make sure to clean and sanitize after each use to avoid gunk build up that could potentially pass onto your next drink. In regards to drinks that can be prepared, versatility is the key here. There are so many options and adjustments to your individual taste and needs that can be done. BUT THERE ARE THINGS TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION: When making soda slushy, make sure to use the ones with regular sugar on it. Also, and this is very important: as the machine ices the liquid. The CARBONATION will come out of it making your slushy FLAT. There are different ways to add CARBONATION BACK onto your slushy and I leave that to you to see online how it’s done. We personally do not enjoy soda slushy as much. For those who do NOT want to SPIKE their drinks, there are so many versions of virgin cocktails that can be tried and they taste delicious; piña colada is one of them, so creamy and full of taste. In regards to milkshakes, because the machine is mainly made to freeze drinks, they’re going to be more on the slushy side than on the creamier side and that is just the nature of this machine, but they still taste delicious and have a very beautiful consistency when drinking them. And of course, there are the other drinks, such as fruit juice slushy, and you can go wild with it. We prepared one with passionfruit juice and it tasted out of this world. Mango juice was also tried and it feels so good. Make sure you get GOOD QUALITY FRUIT JUICE so that you can enjoy. This is a fantastic machine to have around to add versatility to your drinks during hot summer days, or for family and friends gatherings. This is of course from a brand that we all know and enjoy using. I’m enjoying my Ninja slushi and I think you should too.

Ordered this because it not only has the ability to make slushies but it can also make milkshakes. The ninja slushi max is humongous. Huge , a little bit too huge for my lack of counter space. No ice is necessary as it has its own compressor. So all I need to do is mix up the concoction and add to it. So it’s easy to use once it’s set up. This thing has multiple settings to make just about any type of frozen drink including, alcoholic slushes, nonalcoholic slushies, smoothies and milkshakes. With the large size and large resovoir, it’s perfect for parties. . My only con is its large bulky size. My kitchen is small and I lack adequate counter space and storage space.

First off, this machine is massive. It weighs about 40 pounds on its own, and it's really large. It takes up too much counter space to leave out all of the time, but it's really heavy to move, so it would be great if you had a bar area where you could keep it out all of the time. It's really easy to set up and not complicated at all to use. Within about 20 minutes, we had margaritas ready. I was really impressed by how quickly it freezes, especially when using alcohol. It really didn't take long at all. The texture of the slushy was so nice- it was really soft and smooth. I like that the parts are dishwasher safe, and it also has a rinse function, so it's easy to clean up. I do think it's pretty expensive, but for the size and quality, I think it's reasonably priced. I also have the ice cream maker from Ninja, so I know they're a good brand with quality machines.

I absolutely love this machine! It’s definitely an investment, but totally worth it if you host parties or just love frozen drinks. So far, I’ve made mango slushies and Baja Blast freezes, and they came out perfect, smooth, icy, and full of flavor without needing to add any ice. The texture is spot on every time thanks to the SlushAssist technology. The XXL size is a huge plus, I can’t wait to use it for group events. My running team is already planning to make slushies after our 5K, and for Thanksgiving, we’re doing adult mudslides! It’s so easy to use, and I really like being able to adjust how thick or thin the slush comes out. The temperature control is surprisingly precise, and cleanup has been simple with the rinse cycle and dishwasher-safe parts. It’s also much quieter than I expected and keeps the drinks cold and perfectly slushy for hours. If you love entertaining or just want to treat yourself to café-style frozen drinks at home, this is absolutely the one to get!

I can not begin to say how ecstatic I am with the Ninja SLUSHi Max XXL Smart Frozen Drink Maker, is is push button easy. It arrived yesterday and we have used it several times already. My teen loves it! Cleanup which I was worried about is a breeze, fill with water and push the button, then drain and repeat if needed. We used soda and had perfect soda slushies. Takes about 15 minutes depending on how thick you like. This machine also can make frozen alcohol drinks as it is colder than most machines and can handle the additional freezing capacity. Being a Ninja product it is high quality and backed by a great warranty. My daughter has already requested I bring it over for Halloween to make orange soda slushies to hand out to the neighbor kids. I can see this machine is going to get a lot of use!
