  • My little OCD cleaner - 2020 One Year UPDATE
Size: eufy 30
One year update: I bought my 2 Eufys Aug. 2019 and use them once a week or every two weeks and have come across some quirks. The most recent quirk is Eufy just stopping in the middle of a room with the blue light still on and no error beeps. Apparently, it stops for no reason. I hit the remote start and it continues its job. Another quirk is stopping and beeping with blinking light for some reason (keep your manual handy) and once was because of the front Pivot wheel not moving because of hair being wound around it. I popped the wheel off, cleaned out the hair, reset Eufy by pushing the reset button on the bottom and it then worked fine. Another quirk was getting to the stairs and for some reason couldn't turn around and started beeping. That time I just wiped the three sensors on the bottom and reset it and it was fine after that. One day, it just continually stopped for no reason that I could find. It just stops, no beeping and still fully charged. I just kept resetting it with the bottom reset button until it finally finished the room. That happened about 10 times that day. Over the winter, I had a stray cat decide she wanted to live with me, so now I have a cat with long hair and she sheds a lot. Eufy doesn't pick up large tufts of her hair from my rugs, so I use a hair mit on the worst spots on my rugs and then Eufy does a fine job on the rugs. Another tip, try using your magnet strips to divide up larger rooms. I ended up having to do that in my living room because otherwise it took forever for Eufy to hit every area. Now I divide it in half. When one half looks complete, I pick up Eufy and put it in the other half. That works well! Also, your magnet strips can be stuck to the side of your refrigerator for storage! I find that very handy. :) You really do need to clean Eufy between charges. I have my system broken down into Living room and kitchen. Clean and charge (about 4.5 hours), then the hallway, bathroom, bedroom. Clean it and charge. Then lastly, my office/sewing room. Clean it and charge. It takes only 5- 10 minutes to clean it between uses. I'm still thrilled I have these Eufys and have decided I will never be without a Robo Vac - ever. And hopefully Eufy will still be around when I need a replacement. I bought these partly because of the Anker name. I've bought other Anker products for years and they're always made well. End of update. I bought two of these yesterday with the Deal of the day and received them today. They both took about 3 hours to fully charge and then it was off to the races. One went downstairs and the other one upstairs. I left the Eufy downstairs in the basement to do its thing on low pile carpet and tile and went down to check on it periodically. Twice I found it stuck in strange places. One was on top of a small table base and the other was lodged next to my furnace. I'll just have to block those two areas next time. The one upstairs was in my kitchen for a good 45 minutes to an hour! OCD I'd say, but my kitchen is nice and clean. :) Rugs included. These do an excellent job with edge cleaning. The one in the kitchen miraculously followed the curves in the pedestal base on the table. Pretty cool. It also traveled over all my wood floor vent covers which is pretty impressive because they're pretty thick! It also fits under most of my furniture. I sent a Roomba back years ago because it wouldn't fit under my sofa, loveseat and tables. That made it useless for me. These fit under everything except a lowboy chest and 3 smaller tables in my living room...Swiffer will take care of those. The drop sensors worked perfectly at the stairs. It turned around instead of going down. The upstairs Eufy finished my kitchen, living room, entryway and was in the bathroom when the red light came on and is now charging. Both Eufys ran for the 100 minutes as stated in the manual. I emptied the upstairs bin twice, but only because I had stopped the Eufy to get it out of the kitchen and before I sent it to charge. The bin wasn't full either time, but had plenty of dirt and fuzz in it, so I'm happy with that! I decided I'm not programming a schedule because I don't need my house cleaned daily. It's just me here and no pets anymore, so I will manually turn them on once or twice a week. I did pick EVERYTHING up off my floors for this first cleaning, but that's just not ever going to happen again. It was a PIA and I could have vacuumed my entire house in the time it took to clear the floors. I'll leave the cords zip tied, but everything else is staying put next time. All that work defeats the purpose of having these. I am THRILLED TO DEATH with these though. Vacuuming is one of my least favorite chores. These will definitely be used weekly and I look forward to watching them work instead of me! Also, these are sooooo quiet. You can't even hear where they are in the same room as you if they're cleaning underneath something. I'm so glad I bought them and at an excellent price. The exorbitantly expensive robo vacs are just not feasible for me. Maybe if they had a 20 year life span, they would be, but they don't. I'm also not into controlling everything through a stupid app or WiFi. Don't need those and don't want those. I don't need NHS knowing when I'm vacuuming my house. These were worth every cent, IMO Great little vacs! ... show more

  • Put googly eyes on it, you won't be sorry Put googly eyes on it, you won't be sorry
Size: RoboVac G30
There's a lot I really like about this robo vac, but the most important thing to know is that it is absolutely essential that you give it googly eyes. I have not had a single moment where I was in a bad mood after watching it clean once I did. Now for the rest of the review... I originally was going to get the iRobot i3 based on the reviews and having had a Roomba before. However, the price jumped by a hundred bucks on that in the week between picking a model and actually going to buy it. That put it firmly outside of my price range. After some searching around and reading, I chose the Eufy G30 Edge as my backup and let me tell you, I am so happy with it! Of all the backup options I had, I chose this one specifically because it is shorter than similar models. The one complaint I had about our old Roomba is that it was too tall to fit under the sofa or coffee table. That this one can slide under the sofa (and other low furniture) is a huge selling point for me. Under the sofa is where all the cat toys end up and I get sick of moving it to retrieve a gallon of plastic springs. On its maiden voyage, the Eufy pushed all of them out from under the sofa for me to pick up at my leisure. It was absolutely fantastic! Speaking of pet toys, the Eufy didn't try to crawl over the toys, just pushed them around. The only exception was toys that had long feathers on them, which would get caught in the rollers. I pick up all the toys before it runs a cleaning cycle, but I like knowing that it won't be an issue if a cat bats one to the floor while the Eufy is running. The lower price and reviews I read on Amazon for the Eufy also helped my decision to pick this over the others. I know one of the big selling points of Roombas is they are long-lasting and easy to repair, while this one is not as DIY friendly. However, for the price, it was worth the risk. Other reviewers mentioned it has a removable battery, which I thought was a plus. That might never be an issue for me, but I like the option to replace the battery if it came to that. Speaking of battery life, I haven't had an issue with it running out of juice. In fact, I will often run it twice in a row, especially if I've been doing a lot of yard work over the weekend and tracked in a bunch of debris. Though caveat to that, it only cleans my kitchen and living room, which takes 45 minutes to an hour each session, so I get 1.5-2 hours of use out of it easily. (My house is a 1950s 3-level-split. If I wanted to use the Eufy on the whole house, I would have to carry it to each floor or buy one for each level. The middle level with the kitchen and living room is the only part of the house that is a big rectangle suitable for robo vacs). But the important thing for me is it takes care of all the high traffic areas for me so my floors are no longer embarrassing. In spring and summer, I work 60+ hours a week and do not have time to vacuum as much as I need. The floors got hideous last year from neglect and I bought the Eufy specifically to address that. The little rotating brush helps a lot to pick up stuff near the baseboards and in corners, but I still have to take a damp cloth or other vacuum to those spots now and then. Thanks to the Eufy doing the bulk of the work, I can actually deal with the remainder of the floors within my work schedule. I can't say how well it works on carpet, as we don't have so much as a single throw rug. Our floors are a mix of hardwood and vinyl. I have the Eufy set to auto suction in the app and let it do it's thing. I can say that it is fantastic at picking up pet hair. We have two cats who think shedding is a competitive sport. I have the Eufy scheduled to run at lunch every MWF and there's enough to make a small kitten in the dust bin each time. It picks up the usual kind of dirt really well and its suction is good enough to get a lot of fine particle dust. Though that dust gets all static clingy to the inside of the bin, so wiping it out now and then helps. The Eufy does not like leaves or pine needles at all. It will push them around or they get caught in the wheels and dragged around. Threads of sisal rope from the cat tree wound around the brush, roller, and wheels but didn't stop them from operating. Though we had the same issue with our old Roomba. I'm impressed at how well it can go over rough terrain. We have a cat tree sitting on a piece of scrap sheet vinyl and when we first had our rescue cat, I caulked a thick rim around the edge of the vinyl to prevent her various accidents from getting onto the wood floors. The Eufy can get over the rim fairly easily. It can even climb up onto the base of the cat tree (also covered with a scrap of vinyl that also has a rim of caulk) but has more trouble getting down from there. Only once have I had to rescue it. I finally put a couple barrier strips down so it only has to go over the first caulk rim. Barrier strips are the reason I chose the G30 Edge over the regular G30. The aforementioned split level means stairs and I'd rather it not go tumbling down them. On the first run, I had not yet put down the strips and I watched it as it negotiated the landing. It did detect the edge and didn't go over, but I put the barrier down anyway just in case. As far as noise levels, it hasn't been an issue for me. My office is open to the rest of the house, so I hear it running, but it isn't distracting or noticeable in conference calls. It might be annoying if I was trying to nap on the sofa, but only because it occasionally makes clunking noises as it bumps into things or rolls over the floor vents. I do wish the brushes lasted longer. They tend to warp after a month or two of regular use but I'm sure there's a way to straighten them out. I am glad the Eufy comes with a spare brush and filter and that replacements are inexpensive. The shiny top shows dust and fingerprints like crazy (though at least that reminds me to dust now and then, I guess?). Navigation-wise, the Eufy seems to do pretty decently. It's a little dumb and occasionally forgets how to extricate itself from under the folding TV tray I'm using as a plant stand. I like that the app has the map feature. It's a good tool to see where there might be trouble areas. I included a screenshot of the map from today's cleaning. It did it's usual lunchtime run, then I did some maintenance on it, swapped out the brush and filter, and ran it a second time, hence the lower battery level. It also picked up way more dust once I did that. The first run gets cat hair and some debris, the second run gets the dust. Again, doesn't clean as well as our full size vacuum but it keeps the high traffic areas swept. And as others have said, it also helps me to keep the house overall more tidy, as I have to keep clutter off the floor. All in all, I'm very pleased with the Eufy G30 Edge. It functions well, was inexpensive, and looks amazing with googly eyes on it. The only thing that disappoints me is I can't convince any of the cats to take a ride on it. Probably for the best. ... show more

  • Great vacuum for 3 cats!
Size: 01-X10 Pro Omni Black
I wanted to give it a few months of the vacuum to do its work before writing a review. We have 3 cats and we previously had a Shark robotic vacuum that we had since about 2020(ish). Loved that thing but it came to a horrid end after one of my cats got locked out from his litter box. I came home (after a 12 hour shift) to feces and urine smeared EVERYWHERE. After I viciously cleaned my house with bleach while angrily crying until my nostril hairs were burnt away, I went on the search for a new vacuum cleaner since this one could not be cleaned properly (it got into every known crevice and destroyed the motherboard 🫣) and I came across this vacuum. After a long debate with Chat GPT on which one would fit our household, we decided it was time to go from a regular robot vacuum to a vacuum/mop robot. We received it fairly quick and the set up process was pretty easy. I absolutely LOVE that the buttons have a child lock mode since one of our cats likes to sit on it and press buttons (he would sit on and turn on the shark one just to ride around on it so you can imagine he is disappointed that he no longer has free rides whenever he wants). I also love the different functions the app has so if I want it to mainly vacuum and only mop every once in a while, or do both vacuum and mop daily, or have the AI do its thing, I am covered and can change the schedule pretty easily. It also has different suction speeds and how much water gets dispensed for mopping (such as light mopping or heavy duty mopping). We have a 2400 sq ft 2 story house and this lives downstairs, I haven’t had issues with its battery depleting too quickly which is nice. It does have a camera (and surprisingly a flash light when it goes in dark places!) in the front so it can avoid things without ramming itself into said items causing mass mayhem for me later. It’s fairly quiet compared to the Shark vacuum BUT it gets real loud when emptying itself out temporarily. I had no idea these have little vacuum bags (the shark one had a dust bin you just emptied out) so we went on the website and saw that these little tiny bags are pricy. Did a quick search (and help from chat gpt) and found some for cheaper in a different brand. As for the mop solution we just use Odoban no rinse floor cleaner since it works with robotic mops and it’s a fraction of the cost of what their website has. It says use 5 oz when filling up the tank but I just do a couple of long splashes. TLDR: works great for a household of 2 adults, one preteen, and 3 cats (one hairless, one regular shedding, one massive shedding) Use off brand vacuum bags and odoban no rinse floor cleaner for cheaper upkeep. Only reason why it’s missing a star is because of the price of the bags and solution. It came with a bag but didn’t come with solution which I wasn’t aware of prior to purchasing. Other than that, works really well and keeps my floors nice and clean!! ... show more

  • The Eufy Robovac 30 is a wonderful little vacuum!
Size: eufy 30
The Eufy Robovac 30 is a wonderful little vacuum! It has far surpassed my expectations. After replacing carpet with dark hardwood floors in most of our 2400 sq. ft. home, I was finding it difficult to keep the dust bunnies at bay. I didn’t know anything about robot vacuums so I went online to do some research. I considered a lot of different brands but what caught my eye about the Robovac 30 was a combination of the positive customer service comments, price, and boundary strips. We have a combination of hardwood, low-medium shag carpet, vinyl, and tile. I was pleased to see that the Eufy Robovac 30 was reported to be effective on all of these surfaces and I have not been disappointed in the Robovac 30’s performance in my home. I was so happy about the effectiveness of my Robovac 30 and the amount of time it saved me that I encouraged my daughter to try it in her home for a few days to see if she would like me to get her one for Christmas. My daughter and son-in-law live in a 2-story home and have 2 indoor cats. After using my Robovac 30 she was sold so I ordered them one for Christmas. The Robovac 30 works wonderfully in her home keeping it free of cat fur. They have a combination of light wood, tile, and carpet. It cleans everything except the stairs. Her Robovac 30 did fall down the stairs once but she said she now leaves on a light and it has never fallen again. She also only cleans when she is at home and does not schedule cleanings. She has had her Robovac 30 since Christmas 2018 and it is still performing well. After about 10.5 months, my Eufy Robovac 30 began turning itself on and cleaning at random, making a really loud grinding sound when cleaning rugs and maneuvering over transition pieces, and it seemed to get confused and clean in circles or keep going over the same area again and again. I cleaned my Robovac 30 thoroughly, replaced the side brushes and cleaning brush, and cleaned the sensors but it continued to be much less effective and noisy. After trying different things for about 3 weeks, I called Eufy customer service, and talked to a representative who was extremely polite and helpful. She asked me a few questions and had me try a couple of things. She then stated that it should not be acting that way and I was sent a replacement in a few days. She did ask me to write a review discussing my experience. I have waited several weeks before reviewing my replacement Robovac 30 since I wanted to see how the new machine works. Something I noticed with both Robovac 30s, they seem to clean better and transitions more easily through the house after 2-3 weeks of use. They both seemed to stay in one area and not move easily from once type of flooring to another at the beginning. After several weeks, I am very pleased with my replacement Robovac 30. Features and Comments: -Running time – On hardwood floors with different size area rugs, my Robovac 30 will clean for between 90 – 105 minutes when fully charged. Running time is less on carpeted areas. For reference, I section off my house into small areas since I like to clean each area thoroughly. It takes 2 full charges to clean my entire house. -Thoroughness of cleaning – I can’t believe how thoroughly this vacuum cleans. It is truly amazing. I used to vacuum my floors with a canister vacuum and then Swiffer with dry cloths before mopping. Now I just run the Robovac 30 while doing something else and then mop. Amazing! I also love that it will clean under most of my furniture, especially under the beds. -Finding its way back to the docking station – I only use my vacuum when I am at home due to the fact that I still have some area rugs with fringe and long drapes that puddle on the floor in some areas. Also, my elderly mother lives with us and I am afraid that she might trip over the vacuum if I am not there to supervise. Therefore, I use the boundary strips to block off certain areas so that I know where the vacuum is at all times. If the Robovac 30 is able to get to the docking station when its battery starts running low, it does an amazing job of docking; however, I typically just pick it up and return it once I hear it slowing down. -Remote and scheduling cleanings– I don’t often use the remote and never schedule it to clean for the reasons mentioned above. The few times I have used the remote, I have been mostly pleased. It works wonderfully for spot and edge cleaning. I will occasionally use the manual cleaning to direct the Robovac 30 to a certain area but for me it is faster to pick it up and move it rather than using the remote. I have never scheduled a cleaning so I can’t comment on that feature. -Boundary strips – I love the boundary strips since we have a very open floor plan and they easily allow me to block off certain areas and confine the Robovac 30. Due to convenience, my floor plan, different floor textures, some rooms getting more use than others, and my mother’s safety, I section off my house into segments of about 300 sq. ft. to clean at a time. This way I can target the rooms that get used the most and are therefore need extra cleaning, keep the Robovac 30 out of rooms that have clutter or things that need to be removed, and know where it is at all times. I also feel that the rooms are more thoroughly cleaned. If not confined, the Robovac 30 will randomly move throughout the house and some areas may not get cleaned before the battery dies. I have cut and taped sections of the boundary strips to yard sticks and use these to block off areas. The Robovac 30 won’t run over the magnetic strips but it can push the yard stick across the floor, so it is necessary to either place the yard stick in a doorway so that the door frame prevents the yard stick from being pushed through the door or place something heavy either on or behind the yard stick so it can’t be moved. It is then easy to store the yard sticks standing up in a closet and have them ready to lay down each time they are needed. -Babysitting – Since I remove items that the Robovac 30 can get tangled in, I rarely have to rescue it. -Cleaning the Robovac 30/maintenance – Cleaning is easy but it is necessary to do so on the recommended schedule. After cleaning each area that I have sectioned off in my house, I empty the dust bin. This may not be necessary but cleaning effectiveness will be decreased if the bin is allowed to get too full and it is amazing how fast it can fill up. I don’t consider this a flaw in the Robovac 30, but a fact applying to all robot vacuums. I did originally have difficulty removing the roller ball to clean it. To easily remove the roller ball, use a small pair of needle-nosed pliers. Gently squeeze the pliers on the sides of the roller and pull straight up. This does not take a lot of force and works well. -Customer service – Excellent! I was shocked that I received such courteous customer service and a new vacuum when my original Robovac 30’s warranty was due to expire in less than a month. The replacement vacuum came with a 90 day warranty instead of a full year, but that is understandable. -Replacement parts – All replacement parts (side brushes, filters, etc.) are easily purchased from Amazon. Overall, I am very pleased with my Eufy Robovac 30 and would purchase again! ... show more

  • Great little vacuum and fantastic customer service Great little vacuum and fantastic customer service
Size: 01-X10 Pro Omni Black
We purchased this vacuum, Eufy x10 Pro Omni, for a house gift to ourselves for Christmas. We ordered it on Cyber Monday and didn't receive it until December 24th. No problem, thankfully we had a friend that remained in town and was able to go to our house on Christmas eve and place it in our garage. I started using the vacuum on Friday the 27th, 9 days ago and I have been running it through all the functions and everything I can to see if it has any issues or if it doesn't meet my expectations so I can return it if there are any issues. Before trying to use the vacuum, I watched all the videos and read as much material as I could on setting it up and mapping the home. After feeling comfortable about setting it up I started to set it up to map the house, following instructions in the manual I downloaded. Everything went pretty well and it seem to map out the rooms very well. I noticed if you have curtains that hang to the floor this will cause the vacuum to drive around the curtains and not get close to the wall. Also if you have a bed skirt around the bed it will not go through it to get under the bed. This prevents the vacuum from going under the bed to clean. Before we clean the rooms we pull this up and tuck it in so it will clean under the bed and I roll the curtains up so it will get closer to the wall. I have tried every command and different levels to vacuum different rooms, vacuum and mop bathrooms and the kitchen. The vacuum works very well and I like how it will self-empty at the time intervals I have set it at. For tile it mops and cleans very well with no streaks. Our hardwood floor it cleans it very well however, it leaves swirling marks as well as tire pattern marks from the wheels. I have tried different water levels and trying to clean twice. I do like that the vacuum washes the mops and then dry's the mop heads, so they don't begin to smell. Great feature. When it self-cleans, after vacuuming, it is pretty loud. I think this is because it needs a great deal of suction to clean out the vacuum and deposit it in the bag. This is not an issue if the base is in a different room away from locations you use to relax or watch TV. Even then, it's no problem because it only lasts a few seconds and you can run it when you're not home. I have tried every scenario this vacuum has to offer and it has worked very well and I have been pleased up until last night. Day 8 of testing. For some reason the task of cleaning or emptying the tray for dirty water does not work anymore. I looked up how to troubleshoot this problem and have done everything, several times, that was in two or three troubleshooting guides, video and written. I cleaned everything even though nothing was dirty, since we have only had this vacuum for 8 days, before this issue. See the picture of the water in the tray and how clean it is. Not a dirt or dirty tray issue. I have checked rubber seals, blown soft air through the lines with no issues of blockage. Filters are all clean and brand new. I've been working on this issue for three hours now trying everything and chatting with Eufy, sending Eufy an email explaining the issue with uploaded videos showing all the parts and me going through the steps they requested to fix the problem. I can't call them because they are not open until Monday and as usual, nothing goes wrong until the weekend. At this point I am at a standstill until I can troubleshoot the problem with an actual person. I will update this review once I go through this process and will explain the solution. If, there is one other than replacing the unit. More to come on this. Up until this issue started this vacuum has worked exceptionally well. I highly recommend if you purchase this vacuum to take the time to run it through every scenario, as I have, to make sure it has no bugs and/or that it meets your expectations. At this point I would recommend it to a buyer with caution. This is a very sophisticated piece of equipment that, in my opinion, has a lot of things that could go wrong. Things that even the best handyman won't be able to fix. This day and age, appliances with electronics and all the bells and whistles fail quite regularly and require expensive circuit boards and electronics to repair them. Not to mention the cost for the repair person to do it if you are unable. I recommend purchasing the extended warranty. If not, run this thing every which way to Sunday before the 30-day return expires and then hope nothing fails, especially on a weekend, after the warranty has expired. More to come on this. Update. Eufy emailed me a return label and instructions to send back the base not the rob vac. I had saved the original box therefore, sending it back was not a problem. It took over a week to get a replacement base. I contacted Eufy per my concerns of this elapsed time were I was not able to continue testing the vacuum and its features within the 31 day timeframe for a full refund. They assured me they would extend this date by two weeks. I received the new base shortly after a week. When I returned the base I sent in the cord to the unit and left the vacuum bag installed. When I received the new base it was missing the cord and did not have a vacuum bag. I contacted Eufy and they assured me a cord and a pack of vacuum bags would be shipped. It’s been now almost one more week and I have yet to receive the shipment. For two weeks I haven’t been able to use the vacuum. Eufy did issue me a number to receive two wash pads for free. I had to go to a site through a link emailed to me and enter the code. Problem is, the code covered $10.00 of $12.00 cost do I had to pay $2.00. I contacted Eufy and they said they would reimburse me the $2.00 however, I would have to wait until I receive the pads and then I would need to contact them at such time. Now I’m waiting for the cord, vacuum bags and wash pads. Sorry this review has turned into a novel. I just want to put everything out there to help others to decide on a purchase. As for the vacuum and what I have experienced, while I was able to use it, I am very pleased with the results. Received the new base and everything has worked exceptionally well. Whenever I send the support or customer service an email or a question they always respond immediately with an answer. This unit I would recommend to anybody who has animals. I’ve not had a problem with dog hair tangling in the brush. If someone in the family has long hair that will get tangled in the brush. Great little mid price vacuum fantastic customer service. ... show more

  • New robovac user -- pleasantly surprised.
Size: 15C
Initial one-week-in review. Will update if anything changes. The Eufy 15C is my first go-round with robovacs. I did quite a bit of research and wanted to strike a balance between functionality and budget. My goal was to cut out some sort of chore as much as possible in an effort to free up time, as our young family seems to have a schedule requiring only the most adept acrobatics to even have a slim hope of accommodating. We vacuum on a borderline constant basis due to pets in the house, children who like to destroy things and create messes, as well as me simply being allergic to nearly everything in existence. The Eufy works on a somewhat random pattern. When I fired the gizmo up at first I found myself sitting there simply watching it and feeling rather convinced it wouldn't be able to cover a whole room due to the random stab at directions it was taking. It ultimately covered all tracks and I found myself growing more "trusting" of it getting the job done. This was helped by me staging some crushed cheerios in different piles around the kitchen and letting it run unattended. When I returned a bit later, it was still doing laps and all of the cheerio piles were done. Fancy. We don't have many carpeted areas in the house (just the two upstairs bedrooms), but I let it run in those rooms unattended. When I returned the vacuum patterns were random and all over the place, but covered the entire span of the rooms. Given how much time had elapsed since I left the vacuum I didn't expect it to be done already -- it was still running but it was clear via the carpet patterns that it had hit every area during its pass. Good stuff. I was hesitant to go the "C" route with it being wifi-connected as (tin foil hat moment) I work in IT and question devices connecting to my wifi that arguably may not need to be. I found the app to be easy to set up and opted for a consistent schedule to kick things off. So far, so good. I've been keeping an eye on my DNS server logs as well and to date I haven't seen any suspicious behavior of the Eufy (truth be told I haven't seen any traffic at all outside of the initial login of my Eufy account), which was nice to see as I was expecting to firewall the thing into oblivion, but it seems to be largely unnecessary so far. Some other models I looked at were controlled exclusively by smart phones alone. This 15C comes with a remote on top of the smart phone capability. I find the remote is a nice added touch as there are times I have my phone elsewhere charging and I want to kick off a vacuum session outside of the scope of the set schedule, so it's nice being able to punch a button on the remote and let it rip. Another area this comes in handy is if someone is at my house watching my kids (in-laws for example) and a mess needs cleaned up. Whoops, owners not home, smart phones not home, thus no way to control it -- enter remote. They really should be standard on all robovacs as I consider it downright foolish to not include a simple remote, but it was nice seeing the Eufy came with it despite the smart phone capability being existent as well. Overall the thing does a good job and it's great not having to run the bigger vacuum on a constant basis. It runs on a schedule and does its job. It's much quieter than I expected. Not "run at 3 am" quiet for fear of waking up the kiddos, but still quieter than I expected. In terms of the actual vacuuming performance, I'd say it's pretty darn good. As I said we're running this on a daily basis. Now, please understand we're not running through the woods and tracking in an obscene amount of dirt intentionally, nor are we brushing shaggy pets prone to heavy shedding in the middle of the living room every hour, but I've made it a point to empty the dust bin from the Eufy at some point every day so it's ready to go for the next scheduled run. Every single time I empty it, it's nearly full. I have no idea where this thing is finding all this dirt, but it's a testament to the vacuuming capability of the unit itself. From now on it appears our former vacuum will be downgraded to be for steps only. Downsides? Eh, if anything, the need to empty the bin on a pretty consistent basis. It comes with the territory though as these devices are inherently smaller than the large canister vacuums. Nothing that can be done about that so it's difficult to really ding the robovac in this category, but it's something worth mentioning and be aware of. Beyond that I can't find any complaints to note. It does its job and does it well. P.S. - Having a robot vacuum may or may not instigate a cleaner house beyond the scope of simply vacuuming. We told our kids toys need to be cleaned up or the vacuum will "get their toys" in the morning (9 AM schedule) and it's prompted a pretty swift cleanup job every night before bed. It takes far less arguing than it did in the past, and that, I'm pretty okay with. :) ... show more

  • One year in- DONT DO IT :( One year in- DONT DO IT :(
Size: 01-X10 Pro Omni Black
ONE YEAR IN REVIEW I have mixed thoughts because I really like it, the app is great, it cleans great. I’ve stayed on-top of all the maintenance the app has asked me to do and found replacement parts here and there as needed. I have it run everyday and it does a great job, works about as good as I could have imagined in terms of cleaning. Unfortunately exactly one year after purchasing it, 6 days after the one year warranty expired, I started having issues. For about a week I got the same error of “roller brush stuck”. I cleaned the brush, paid for replacement parts, followed every trouble shooting suggestion in the app, same error. Contacted support and did everything they told me to do in terms of trouble shooting. On Reddit I learned this is a common problem and probably from a motor issue. Worked with support for a few weeks and eventually they offered to repair it for me, even though it was a few days over the warranty. Super stoked with that. But had the weirdest interaction with the support people, felt like I was dealing with some like 3rd party questionable service, just not the interactions I expected for such a “high end” expensive product. Contacted them through the app, got an email response and they sent me a shipping label. I packed it up very well, wrapped it up, and sent it off for repair. Like two weeks later get it back on my doorstep, in the same box I sent it in, but all squished. Vacuum just set ontop of the same bubble wrap I sent it in, but like not wrapped or protected . Device was clearly beat up, everything in the box was wet and there were random parts scattered throughout the box and a panel missing from the top of the vacuum that wasn’t even in the box. Also just realized MULTIPLE parts are missing. I’m not only missing a random panel, but also a brush guard, filter and dust bin, all pieces that I sent in. I literally feel like I got scammed. So confused and disappointed. For like a $900 vacuum and only one year out, I’m disappointed to have had such a major issue so quickly and to have such an unprofessional experience with the service group. I’ve never seen something packed so poorly and was shocked, like actually dumbfounded to have found that parts are missing and like such an obvious one too, literally the panel on-top, I noticed it before the box was even open all the way. I couldn’t tell you if it worked or not because with exposed wiring and chips from the missing panel plus all the other missing parts, it literally cannot be used, it’s useless. No idea what to do now besides pray they sent me parts or just replace the thing. UPDATE: 40 something emails later I finally begged someone to send me a new device. Their original suggestion was for me to buy all the replacement parts they took and they would refund me 15% back, ridiculous in my opinion, but I literally cannot buy the most important part, the top panel that was stolen, it’s not something they sell. The “new” device they finally sent me was all scratched up with dirt, gravel, kitty litter and cat food scattered throughout the packaging. The vacuum was literally covered in the gravel and all scratched up. Clearly a returned device that was sent back dirty and no one cleaned it up before sending it to me. I thought it was all cleanable but the scratches were deep and one is right over the camera. I asked if I could exchange it and was literally told I should be grateful they sent me anything and they wouldn’t help me anymore… The customer service is so bad it’s just not worth it, get something else, save yourselves the struggle. Because of all this, I wouldn’t recommend this product. For the price, I’d expect it to last more than a year without a major repair issue needed (replacing the motor) and I’d expect better customer service and a better warranty. Stay away, it’s too expensive and too risky :( ... show more

  • Excellent product, highly recommend. worth the money. huge upgrade
Size: 01-X10 Pro Omni Black
I’ve been using the EUFY X10 Omni Robot Vacuum and Mop for about a month. This is our second Eufy Vaccum the first one was a wedding gift, the max 25C and that one was great, but we really used it until it wasn’t inoperable anymore, pieces started to break and we didn’t feel like replacing it. Wr had it for3 years. We decided to upgrade to the mop vacuum combo with the dock. My wife and I are absolutely thrilled about it. We both have the user app on our phone and can control it from anywhere. The app lets us know when the dust filter needs to be replaced, The water needs to be changed or refilled we still have not emptied the garbage bag yet and run it every day. With the app, you can map all the floors in your house edit rename. The marked consent what floors you have and whether it should be vacuumed and mopped or just vacuumed Which you can edit as well. I’m definitely a tech guy and run my products to their full potential. It really is an excellent product and an even better app. There’s three settings for suction water amount during the mop and vacuuming. While cleaning you have the option to do an edging map, which gets those tight spaces there are some little bits and pieces that it doesn’t pick up, but it does a really great job Having a one and a half year-old obviously our floors are very dirty after meal time but this vaccum helps a ton. There is a small learning curve which we picked up on very quickly. I highly suggest, no connection issues, definitely worth the money. One thing I didn’t realize it is if all of the lights are off, there are two flashlights near the AI camera that run in the dark. This map has not gotten stuck yet. Also, there’s a child lock on it so my son can’t press the buttons when it goes over to the dock. Once he realized there’s nothing he could do. He got bored and walked away. Very happy. Thank you. ... show more
