  • Eufy Kicks My $1k Ultra SMART Mapping Vacuums In The BUTT! ALWAYS Finds its Way Home SUPER RARE.
Color: White
The media could not be loaded. "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication"-Leonardo Devinci [Just like EUFY] It is now the nearly the end of 2020 and still going STRONG, SMART. SLEEK-- no need to replace battery, yet especially with the rare on/off switch on the bottom side. Also, with the tempered glass top still no scratches (all pictures updated). Looks and performs as amazing as the day it arrived for a solid 100 minutes! My favorite robotic vacuum of all time Highly recommended! ★★★★ Quality ★★★★ Price ★★★★ Shipping ★★★★ Description ★★★★ Smart Features ★★★★ Durability/Best in the industry ★★★★ Home Docking/Recharging ★★★★ Cleaning&Sensors EXCELLENT ★★★★ Longevity (a forever robotic vacuum) ★★★★ Gets under everything! Dust Bunny 🐰 Free Hone!. Original Review To set your expectation consider yourself LUCKY to have found this Eufy even though it is not APP operated, YET still out preforms all competition and has built on remote holder for scheduling with excellent client support to help replace also just press button for maximum cleaning on unit. Eufy is made by Anker ( approved) an incredible technology company that offer such inexpensive and extraordinary innovative power that you can find their products on the  Apple site and all of my experiences have been nothing, but amazing with Anker so when I realized Eufy was an Anker product I knew I scored big time. IF I had only known what I do now “SIMPLER and SLIMMER is ALWAYS BETTER” after 7 ULTRA SMART and FRUSTRATING Robotic Vacuums which only makes me appreciate this Eufy even more. Firstly... Could've saved a fortune! Something you have to learn the hard way. Save this link if you think otherwise because you WILL BE BACK. THE ‘Eufy’ EXPERIENCE: • Add to your Cart and Stalk I randomly found for $149 on lightening deal ⚡️and would’ve bought 2 white (hard to find) if I’d known it’d be this perfect (will update— always do if there any surprises and adjust Star Rating/Review). • Arrives quickly and I was certain it’d be another return and so far it has been the best out of 7 Robotic Vacuums in 3 Years thus far. • The 1st charge (extremely important to NOT turn-on without fully charging) is unbelievably FAST for a Robotic Vacuum. I actually received it before heading to the airport and could not believe I was able to test it fully changed before I was out the door in a rush! • I really appreciate that this is a FOREVER vacuum, unlike competitors Eufy by Anker this is the perfect option you can keep forever because they offer a replacement battery for $22 PRIME and an ON/OFF switch underneath I have never seen ever (to conserve battery life). I much rather pay $22 PRIME than be FORCED to buy a whole new vacuum which is extremely common in the robotic vacuum industry. Electronic products are made this way and die around the end of the warranty IF lucky and not 3 months (I've been through this 3 times) and force you to buy an entire new unit when you just pop a new battery in. Have fun with that if you skip. You will be back! • The batter offer replacement is way better than spending another $500 on avg. and it is designed in a way you just pop to in. So crazy and wasteful the robotic vacuum industry can is. Super impressed. • Eufy runs for 100 minutes of cleaning time when the Ultra Smart Vac’s need a full 12-24 hour charge before a test/cleaning and an industry standard of 30-40 minutes of cleaning time. • Eufy is THE ONLY ROBOTIC VACUUM TO ALWAYS FIND ITS WAY HOME TO DOCK AND RECHARGE— EVERY SINGLE TIME! Mind blown! I've only had one of many vacuums actually find it's way back and dock a total of 3 times. They ALWAYS claim it goes to it's Home/Charging Dock, yet never do! I simply cannot believe it! • It has a clever On/Off underneath which will help conserve your vacuums longevity if you do so choose. Something I have never seen and would’ve not appreciated until now after all the expensive duds. • In the video it sounds loud, yet not at all as loud as my other’s. It sounds like a blade less Dyson Fan if you are familiar. i.e Smooth Air Blowing • The accessories like extra filter, sweepers (the highest quality I have ever seen as they tend to arrive bent), comb with cutting tool (should be used everyday you run it and is extremely common with all Vacuums as of yet), etc. • Easy manuals no weird or bad grammar to scare you off that is all too common now. • The sensor is as common as all it will bump things just like a very expensive Vac and is very alert to People and Animals. (Updated has better sensory than any of my other 7 adventures, yeah still bumps but now notice not nearly as much as all other brands). • I am so used to Vacuums never ever finding their way “Home”, so why set a cleaning schedule. Pointless. Eufy you can confidently. • The simplest way to ensure it always finds its way home is to make sure all cables/wires are not on the floor which is common knowledge to Robotic Vacuum owners. No, it won’t destroy cables it will simply shut off and need to be manually docked otherwise your set for a cleaning schedule. • Far too many Smart Vacuums are just too thick to clean under platform beds and furniture and if they cannot fit under I am just not interested. Why have one if it’s not going to do “Spring Cleaning” everyday and keep your home fresh, dust mite and dust bunny 🐰 free? It’s by far one of the most desired features speaking for myself. • My most preferred Vacuum’s have been By Eco Vac’s DeeBot Pro’s (owned 3) most are slim enough to get under most everything and they mop (I don’t like my area rugs mopped so, only tired that once) they have several issues, but have been the Top for me since Eufy which I highly prefer to my Eco Vac M83 PRO that I will be giving away if Eufy keeps up being superior. • Area Rugs... Eufy is highly intelligent when it comes to area rugs from thick to thin (also carpet). My once preferred Vac was okay, but would always have a the toughest time on thin rugs by flipping them and dragging them, also trying to climb her high sheep pelts and getting stuck. Eufy is super smart with its sensor to stay away from fluffy pelts (those are dry clean and sheep pelt brush) AND thin and high pile rugs Eufy has ZERO ISSUE when cleaning. Just AMAZING. • Also, excellent for finding a diamond earring you dropped etc., yes, I absolutely use it to FIND Small Impossible things without damaging! • I feel this covers all the major bases and is an excellent Vacuum I have waited several years for. Simple, slim, intelligent, and still cannot believe it runs over an hour and always always finds its way home to reboot and APPS have no become way overrated and a pain in the butt! Eufy Compared To Ultra Smart $$$$ Vacs: • I have owned 7 Smart Robotic Vacuums; the highest priced being the “Ultra Smart” Neato (returned after nearly a month of nonsense) with Home Mapping Technology at $1K. Sorry, the bigger, thicker, wider, and SMARTER it claims to be in my experience the more dumb it is. It becomes more of a chore meaning you have to reset the map every single time you move something and they are so thick they can cannot get all the dust and debris under furniture like Eufy does effortlessly. • Eufy cleans for 100 mins & always and I mean always finds its way home (something I was always promised, but they never returned even when commanded) so you can truly set a cleaning schedule! • While most all Smart Vac’s claim to dock and charge on their yet ALWAYS alert you over and over that they are stuck or have to be searched for with app, yet, Eufy is always obedient and doesn’t even need that function!I have only seen Eco Vacs find its way home 2x in 3 years now after 3 models (of that brand), Neato never, Dyson Eye never ever again! • It is proven that Vacuums that run in straight carpet lines are less efficient at cleaning. Hard to believe, but random has proven to out clean the $1,000 USD Plus Vacs. • If I had known it’d always do a no nonsense cleaning without me having to follow it I would’ve withdrew doubt and ordered 2 at $143. • Eufy keeps it Simple, Sleek, Very Slim (gets under virtually EVERYTHING and ANYTHING you can imagine compared to Neato and other very high priced Robo Vacuums that cannot even get under a platform bed and other low profile furniture meaning dust will continue to pile up). One Con (maybe I missed it) no phone app to control while away. If so DO NOT LOSE THE REMOTE. I may be wrong. I am writing a review after a 3 day trip that I set a cleaning schedule to VERY IMPRESSIVELY FIND EUFY Nearly FULL BIN Scheduled to clean once a day while away FOR 3 DAYS (house is always clean) and sitting at its docking station. An Easy 5-Stars Buy Eufy and forget the hype over these Ultra “Dumb” expensive Vacs that do Nothing, but turn you into a Vacuum Babysitter! I would seriously have to follow a $400-1k vacuum around. Yes, this is a huge deal to me after never having this experience with purchasing so many Ultra Smart crazy expensive vacuums. If you are sick of babysitting your smart cleaning devices this simple, slim, chic vacuum is the Answer! Update August 15th 2019 WOW this would be 10 stars if the option was available! The sensory oddly seems to have improved. Has now problem cleaning BIG messes. Eufy has a crazy “hop” and still intelligent enough to avoid my sheep rugs that insanely fluffy and vacuuming is forbidden for care. Perfect. It does not flip, move around very thin rugs, or get stuck under them a common issue with super expensive smart Robo Vacuums! It continues to impress! I pick this Eufy over all of my ultra Smart experiences. I could careless about apps! The remote is great and if lost it automatically turns on with a press to it’s Mac suction and gets the job done better than iRobot, Neato, Dyson Eye, several ECOVACS Pro’s, etc.. Save your money, time, and hassle of the Smart (dumb) options. I no longer have to follow an over-priced Robo around, get alerts it’s stuck, haven’t had to use a smart beeping tracker to track it down. It buy far has the best built-in features to schedule and forget. The only TRUE robotic vacuum you do not have to even think about turn on or schedule and forget about. The only thing it’s missing is to dump itself out! Mind blown! Finally, a Robo Vac that does exactly what you’d expect. Forget the hype or when your over all the overpriced Vac’s you WILL return or just die on you save this! Only then will you truly see the beauty of simple effective cleaning that you don’t have to babysit! Why buy a new robotic vacuum when Anker's Eufy has an easy (not hidden) inexpensive battery? Otherwise with other brands you FORCED to buy a whole new unit! eufy RoboVac Replacement Battery Pack, Compatible with RoboVac 11S, 11S MAX, 15T, 30, 30C MAX, 15C, 15C MAX, 12, 35C Accessory Save or 1-click buy for the BEST you will find! ... show more

  • One year in- never looking back!
Color: White
I love you, Eufy. You may get drunk and meander my home, get stuck on cabinets and cords but I will still love you. I have an 11S (shown) and a more expensive 15C at my cabin. I like knowing if the more expensive one is stuck when I’m not home but if I had to buy another the 11S is fine. Pros- it is smaller/thinner than my parent’s iRobot so it fits under most cabinets. It gets stuck in one cabinet in my kitchen. It finds it way back to the charger and can do a few days without being emptied. Cons- it will find and suck up most cords. If you take some time to tack up the cords or more items, it works great and goes on its merry way. My strategy is usually to lock it in a bedroom and let it go until it dies then bring it back to the dock. For my kitchen, I use 12 pack soda boxes to keep it in and allow it to focus on one area. It tends to do best in smaller spaces vs running free. I also bought replacement brushes and after a year, I haven’t had to use them. We have long hair in my house so I do have to cut it off the spinning brush every few months but it’s fine. ... show more

  • My house has never been so clean!
Color: White
As a neat freak, this has been one of my favorite purchases recently. Hands down. No doubt. Our house has seriously never felt so clean. With four boys coming and going, plus a cat, plus my wife and I both working out of the same house, this place gets dir-r-r-r-ty! But now, I just set this little baby up and get it goes to town. Note: the first several times that we used it, the machine's debris holding chamber was LOADED. We ran it until the battery died (and it returned to it's charger automatically), emptied it, and then ran it again as soon as it was fully charged. But each time that it ran, it was completely full! Every single time. None of us can believe how dirty we were living. Note #2: We now take it upstairs to do a deep cleaning there. We had a little bit of a learning curve to make sure that all of the electric cords and such were off the floor. (They untangle easily, btw, if you forget). My son with the cat had a room that used to smell terrible... it smells almost normal after we ran this several times through there. And the volume of cat hair that this thing picked up is crazy amazing. Hair that we didn't even see. I didn't know cat hair smalled badly, but it must've. Room smells pretty decent now (not perfect - there still is a smally boy living in there)! Note #3: We keep a pretty clean house. That is what is amazing about this thing. It makes it really clean. Note #4: After the first several runs, make sure that you clean the roller brush. It will make a difference. The tool that comes with the unit that looks like a comb does a great job. If you get hair or thread or similar wrapped around it, use the handy dandy letter opener-style cutter to easily and safely clean it out. The blue parts on bottom around roller remove easily for deep cleaning. Do it! Easy and worth it for better future results. Note #5: Does all types of floors really well. We have ceramic, vinyl, short carpet, marble, deep carpet - all on the first floor of our house --- NO PROBLEM for Eufy! It moves with ease between them all. Note #6: Problem areas? We have a screened in porch that has a door that allows tiny little leaves in under the door. I'll just set the Eufy out there and forget about it. When I see it again, the machine has run out of juice and the floor is perfectly clean. Or my basement office. Set it in there at the end of the day, close the door and forget about it. In the morning, the floors are clean and the machine is sleeping where it ran out of power. I take it back upstairs, empty the cannister, and put it back on the charger. Last note: It gets in tight spaces. It cleans edges beautifully. It spends more time on a room than we ever would, so I guess that is why it cleans so well. It gets under most of our furniture. Around most of our chairs. And oh - I almost forgot - this vacuum is SO-o-o-o quiet. With our upright, you can't hear yourself think. With this thing, I can be do my work uninterrupted. Disclaimer - I have wasted a lot of time just watching machine in amazement and awe! Thankfully I can now walk away from it - although the 7 sessions with a therapist to get me to break the habit were a pain. ;) I highly recommend the machine - if you couldn't already tell! I came back on to Amazon to buy a unit for my in-laws and saw the opportunity to avoid my job for a little bit to write this review! Funny, but I am glad that I did. This little fella is totally worth it. If you are thinking about which brand to buy, you can't go wrong with Eufy. Kudos to the manufacturer and development team! Note to manufacturer: Can you please develop a machine to automatically climb and clean stairs (cook, do toilets, do laundry)... ? People, you are going to love this vacuum! ... show more

  • Game changer! Highly recommend!
Color: White
I bought this Eufy 11S in Sept 2019 and it's still going strong with almost daily use. I don't have carpet, which helps with longevity (carpets take more battery power). While most folks say they use this as a supplemental cleaner, it's the MAIIN cleaner in my house! No matter how thoroughly I vacuum and Swiffer - including under and around all furniture, this little guy finds lots of fur and dust bunnies the others can't. Be patient with the first few cleanings - there is a period of adjustment and learning how to minimize problems. This is because cords, fringe, hair ties, pet toys, and some furniture can cause it to emit beeping "On Strike!" protests. So, get all your electrical cords out of the way and survey floor for shoelaces, hair ties, pet toys, etc. Rethink or roll in the fringe on rugs. The first few runs will determine if and where it gets stuck. For instance, some furniture is just a hair's thickness too low, causing Eufy to get wedged under. This happens with my fridge, so I have a pool noodle stashed on the side of the fridge that I can wedge under the door to eliminate that problem gap. Placing a sturdy object to block access works, too. Just experiment with what works best for you. I close the door to one room that my bf uses as his sound studio. It's fraught with cords and clutter that's just too much for any vacuum - ugh. I must say it really inspired me to take a hard look at my rooms to eliminate clutter and such. I've developed a quick system for getting ready: pick up cat scratch lounge and cat bed - set on side table. Survey floor for athletic shoes and hair ties (grrrr- my bf!) and out of place charging cords, toys, etc. Unfortunately, my cats refuse to ride it for our amusement. They got used to it quickly. One cat stays out of its way, while the other one refuses to move, and angrily hisses when bumped. LOL. It has a handy remote control that we had a lot of fun with when we first got it. You can change suction power, direction and mode (edge cleaning vs spot cleaning), and send it back to charging station early, for example. You can schedule it to run while at work or sleeping, but I only use it when I'm available to rescue it if it encounters an obstacle. For instance: just today, it got stuck by straddling my rocking chair leg. It's never done that in over 1.5 years of service. I was able to rescue and send it on its merry way. When finished, it goes right to its charging station. Note: I had to move the charger from the kitchen, which is about 1/2" higher than the rest of the house. Fully charged, it had no problem climbing the threshold to enter the kitchen several times during its run. However, when the battery is low at the end, it couldn't make that last climb, poor baby. Moving it out of the kitchen solved that problem. I prefer to clean it after its run so it's ready to roll the next day. Also, by cleaning the whiskers soon afterwards, they don't bend out of shape as much from hair/threads wrapping around them. However, they easily return to their original shape if you run them under hot water and straighten them by hand (they should be rinsed periodically, anyway). It's super easy to clean daily for someone kinda OCD like me. Just slide out the dust bin, open and shake into trash with minimal dust escaping - very nice!. I use my hand or a cloth to wipe the filter and that's it. I do groom the whiskers and roller-daily because both my bf and I have long hair that sheds as bad as our two cats. They pop right out and snap back into place with ease. It comes with a handy all in one little cleaning tool that can cut and pull out the threads and hairs wrapped around roller, but I don't need use it that often because I clean almost daily. It's truly one of the BEST purchases I've ever made. So rare to find a product that lives up to the hype. ... show more

  • Updated review!
Color: White
My original review is below. Since that time, I was able to switch my Eufy to Max power. That has solved all of my problems. It vacuums extremely well now and not as much fur gets caught in the brushes. It’s great and I’m happy with my purchase! The reason for only 4 stars is that the programming is not intuitive and I don’t believe it works as intended. For instance, I would have put the vacuum on max power earlier if I could have, but that seemed incompatible with setting it for daily vacuuming. I got that combination completely by accident while trying to remove the scheduling. Trying to change the time of the scheduling, I just removed max power, so I may be back to square one now. I’m sure it’s fixable, but the 4-star rating is because the programming is not intuitive, not because it is “broken.” Anyway, I hope this helps y’all. Original review: I bought my first robo vac when they came out like, 10-15 years ago. I had two cats, and the Roomba quickly died. It was very expensive and very disappointing. So, regardless of everything else, vacuum robots have gotten Sooo much cheaper and better. I’m grateful for that. I’m also grateful for my Rooma, which is a frighteningly powerful tank. However, Roomba does not make a “slim” (less than 3 inches high) robot than can go under my sofa. Having bought this one and used it for a week or two, I think there might be a reason. 😭 Let me tell you about this sorry little vacuum. Pros: - you can set a schedule (I vacuum every day at 4 am) - it is very quiet! - it fits under my huge sectional and tv stand - when it bumps into something, I’m not afraid Eufy will knock it over - it mostly works (worth two stars, imo) Cons: - See the pics. Eufy cannot CAN NOT handle fur. I need to clean the rollers every time I use it (eg *every day*) and it still leaves fur behind. - The suction is NOT strong, and it is troubling to me that it is advertised that way. Even compared to other Eufys the suction is weak, so they know better. 🤨 Because I suspect the main problem is the design of the brushes (my Dyson has brushes but they don’t get gunked up like this, for instance) I do think this is a deeply flawed machine. I cannot recommend it, especially to households with pets. To answer the obvious follow up question: I would have liked to return this vacuum after one or two uses, but I did that really dumb thing where I threw out the box right away. I know, rookie mistake. Oh well. ... show more

  • Good robot vacuum, not the best for pet hair.
Color: White
This robot vacuum is perfect for houses without pets. I bought it last year for a travel assignment and it worked great in a studio apartment. I bought another one for the house but it just didn't hold up for all the dog hair. The hair gets caught in the roller and fills up the container to quickly. I have to clean it and empty it out several times before the floors are totally clean. I ended up moving it to the upstairs (dogs aren't allowed up there) and it works perfectly there. ... show more

  • Great For Pet Hair And A Very Good Value.
Color: White
We own 3 robot vacs, a Shark S87 and two Eufy Robovac 11s models. I can say without a doubt that the Robovac 11s does a better job vacuuming overall and is much easier to manage. The 11s is a basic robot vac, it can be set on a scheduled time everyday and has a few pattern functions that can be enabled. That is about it, otherwise it simply wanders around any accessible area and vacuums until its battery is low which at that point, it returns to its dock. After securing various items and electrical cords in our rooms, this method of vacuuming has worked well for us. The Shark is a step up in features in that it comes with boundary strips that can be put down to help keep the vac from going into certain areas and it also has WiFi connectivity which allows for more schedule customization than the Eufy. It also provides notifications when the vac stops or has an error. We don't use the boundary strips and I find the included app from Shark is minimally useful. In terms of performance, the Shark seems to have an issue about 75% of the time it runs and we often find it stuck in a place that it can't figure out how to get out of. The cliff sensors also do not work well at all, so when it encounters our stairwell, it simply stops at the top. Both the Shark and Eufy do a good job when collecting pet hair from our two dogs, and cleaning rugs, hardwood, and carpet. The Eufy's battery life is a bit better so it runs for a slightly longer period of time than the Shark. We have moved our vacs around, utilizing them in different areas of our house in order to find the best location for each to run its schedule. We have settled on using the Shark in the smallest overall section upstairs, while both of our 11s models handle our downstairs areas (one is the master bedroom, the other handles kitchen, living, and dining rooms). Price wise, the 11s models we have were much cheaper than the Shark and have performed better especially considering the amount we paid. We bought the Shark first and then six months later we bought our first 11s. Six months after that, we added a second 11s so that we could have more complete coverage of our house. We are very busy most weeks and having the vacs on a schedule has helped keep our floors much cleaner on a daily basis. As with any vacuum that is used a lot, you will need to perform maintenance on them from time to time. I have found that every two weeks it is best to spend time cleaning the units and removing any hair that has built up on the roller brush. I also make sure no hair or other debris has collected in the wheels and I clean or replace the filters and side brushes as needed. Doing this, has helped keep our vacs running consistently. Both brands have great customer service and we have experienced this first hand. The Shark had an issue about 7 months into our ownership. The drive gears on the unit began grinding loudly and the vac would run for a few minutes and then stop in the middle of an open area of the floor. I contact their support and after a few minutes of troubleshooting, they issued an return label for me to send the vac in for replacement. Once the replacement shipped, they cross shipped the replacement and we received it in a few days. Our second Eufy 11s failed after about 2 months of ownership. The unit would start up and simply turn 360 degrees for about 20 seconds and then stop and emit several beeps. The beeps signaled that the front bumper was stuck so I checked it's functionality and found no issue. I then contacted support and eventually received a return label to ship it back. Like Shark, Eufy shipped a replacement as soon as I dropped off the return and we had it in our hands within a few days. Overall we are happy with our Eufy vacuums and would buy them again over the Shark S87. I will update my review at some point to reflect the longevity of the units, I am hoping they will last at least a few years. ... show more

I did not purchase this as a primary vacuum so maybe my opinion is somewhat biased. That being said I could see how this might not work if you have heavy shedding and debris (large dogs etc) but for moderate cleaning this thing rocks and is easily the best purchase of the past few years imo. It may seem confusing at first to read about the functions but it isn’t at all. Just hit “Auto” or “start” and it will explore and clean on its own. I did not realize when we bought this that you can steer it in any direction with remote and clean certain spots. Very cool and fun (at least for me) One of the things that attracted me to buying this was the fact that it can sweep under the front of your stove, and get under appliances and furniture. I got really tired of vacuuming and sweeping under everything to get the cat hair and dust. This is now a thing of the past and great for my back. I almost 4 starred this because you have to regularly clean the dust bins and filter (almost every time due to its size) and people with multiple pets and lots of hair may not find it helpful. But for us with two cats it’s great and the functionality and quality get 5 stars from me. I almost forgot it’s not loud enough to scare our cats. • Worth every penny, but suction power could be higher
Color: White
I've had this for over a year. It was a present from my mother, and I can confidently say I use this 2-3 times a day because it's just that awesome. I figured if its charger has to be plugged in at all times, I might as well have it go 2 rounds. It's very quiet even on full suction, does a great job cleaning rugs, hardwood, and tile. It can't store that much filth, but it can pick up a lot in such a little amount of time. Hair, fur, nails, dirt, nails, dust, and paper are no match for this. While it's not exactly what you would need for deep cleaning, it's suction power is proficient for every day cleaning. Now, the negatives. There are other newer Eufy vacuums that are similarly priced, but have higher suction power. The other thing that's a big pain is cleaning the tires if anything gets stuck into it by accident. If you have pets that roam freely in the house, make sure you are watching them while this is running. Another issue is that this vacuum keeps on getting stuck under my recliner, and once in a great while it will stop moving and start beeping for no reason. Despite the few negatives, I've learned to live with them and still recommend this brand and model to anyone who wants 1 less thing to worry about. I can't imagine my work-life balance without this now! More context if needed: If I rotate my recliner 180 degrees, and put my dog in the crate and let this run while I'm out grocery shopping, there is a 1/4 chance that it will get stuck under something in my apartment and I will need to intervene. Another thing to keep in mind is if you have real, hand-woven Persian rugs in your home, this cannot be used on them, especially if they are silk. If they are a low height and made of a wool or wool blend, it might be used. ... show more

  • UPDATE: rating increased (UPDATE): rating reduced (Original): Great price & decent functionality
Color: White
NEW UPDATE: Eufy customer support reviewed some videos I submitted and they concluded the vacuum was defective. Also, the unit was NOT supposed to crash into its charging dock. I will be receiving a new unit. If this one also has problems, I will update the review. Customer service was very helpful. UPDATE: The Eufy did a horrible job with pine needle cleanup once my tree was removed. It dragged them all across the room. I had to do shut it off and use a regular vacuum. That's annoying, but not a deal breaker. However, it is now making a very odd noise. Something sounds off with the unit, like something isn't rotating properly internally. How something could be breaking already is beyond me. The Eufy runs on tile and carpet, has never fallen down the stairs, dropped, or been mishandled. It is also cleaned after every clean cycle. Very disappointed. Original: I was a little concerned about this vacuum. It's substantially cheaper than some of its competitors, so I wondered how effective it would be. I live in a multi-cat household, and some of them shed a LOT. My wife or I would vacuum and the next day, there would be a ton of fur yet again. We wanted something to make it easier to keep the floors clean, and I'm happy to say, the Eufy is that. Is it perfect? No. But here are my honest observations, good and bad. Pros: It's quiet. I was afraid this would make it less powerful, but I have to empty the bin every time I use this, and the floors are clean. It's quiet enough that I can sleep through it. It is louder on tile than it is carpeting, but it's still relatively quiet on hard floors compared to other robot cleaners. Because it's quieter, my pets aren't scared of it. They were cautious at first, but it doesn't bother them anymore. The vacuum always did. It's highly cost effective, especially if you get it on sale (like during Black Friday). It comes with a remote that gives you options, like "return to charging station," "clean wall perimeters," "focus on one area," etc. It can handle staircase edges with no problem. I've never had it come close to falling down a flight of stairs. It cleans. That's the main point. We have to empty the bin every time it's done running. Cons: It does not consistently do well with Christmas tree needles. Some it gets, some it runs over several times before getting, and some it run will over several times and it'll never get them. Sometimes, its brushes push them out of the way entirely and it doesn't pick them up because it already covered the area where they got brushed aside. On carpet, it tends to run them over multiple times before getting. On tile, it tends to brush them aside. Although it cleans edges, if you have a tuft of pet fur in a carpeted edge, it probably won't get to that. If you have pets or someone with longer hair in your household, you should clean the brush after every bin dump to untangle it. Luckily, and this is a pro, they include a tool you can use. My wife has long hair, and between that and the pets, this helps. However, we know others who have robotic cleaners with multi-pet households and they don't have to do this. It'll still run and clean if you skip it, but it won't do as well. Even though it was set up properly, the Eufy often bangs into its charging station, knocking it completely out of place. I eventually stopped trying to correct it and waited to see if it could return to the charging station when it's cockeyed. It can, but it does struggle a bit. I wish the Eufy would avoid its charging port so it doesn't do that. I wonder if one of these days, I'll return home to a dead Eufy because it knocked it over completely. It gets stuck when it's cleaning under the Christmas tree. It tries to go over the stand's legs and can't get over them. The legs are long, straight, skinny rods, only a little higher off the ground than a transitional piece of flooring. Overall: For the most part, it works. Our main goal was to make pet hair cleanup much easier, and it does that. It's not perfect, but it's quiet, it cleans, and it's a good price. If you're okay with the cons, then I recommend you get this. ... show more

  • I'm convinced!
Color: White
[Edit after 3 months of use: My major issue with this device was not returning home. I contacted the company directly and they sent me another home base and it returns home now every night to one of them. So pleased! Second issue was it getting stuck under the fridge and dresser. I have now put bump guards out (our shoes and a bean bag) which stop it. Problem solved and I’m super satisfied now that I’ve got the hang of it. Great buy!] I really want to love this robovac but I'm not completely convinced it's worth the money yet. I bought when it was on sale for $155. For this amount of money as well as the non-sale price, I want to have good product support as well as it to do what it says. Pros: -Good suction. We have a dog and a backyard door that tends to accumulate a lot of junk on our floors. If I'm buying a robot vacuum good suction is prioritized as number one and it does in fact do this. -Impressive randomized sensing. We run it once a day and it definitely hits all of our rooms every other day or so in our 1700 square ft first floor. Some days it does really get hooked on one room, such as our laundry room, and passes through it several times, however other days it might hardly touch it. -Doesn't get caught in loose carpet fibers. A review said it did, however we have a rug with tassels on its sides and the vacuum doesn't suck those up which I think is great as my push vacuum does suck them. Robo will pull the rug in different directions as the rug is small, however never gets stuck. -Climbs high carpet very well. We have flooring sections that run from luxury vinyl to carpet. It easily climbs those as well as our rugs. Very satisfied with that and would have to return it if it didn't climb well. -Quiet. You know it's on but it's not obtrusive. Love that. -Pretty good with corners. Our kitchen can be a hot spot of corner messes and I am impressed with how well it cleans those parts. Cons: -Ordered white, received black. I'm now frustrated by the endless fingerprints that are accumulating because... -Has yet to find it's home. After vacuuming, its light turns orange and is dying. It still wanders around the house, evidently trying to find its home, and dies before finding it. However, if it's in the same vicinity/room of the home and I press the button on the remote to go home, it DOES FIND IT. I've moved the home twice, too, seeing if a different spot worked. So, not quite sure why it can't do that on its own. I went on Amazon's product support button that it had for this and was disconnected and reconnected with several people in 30 minutes and everyone kept passing me to someone else. No help figuring out why it can't find its home on its own. This issue would be a major problem that may cause me to return. -Gets stuck under furniture. I can't expect this to be perfect, so it's reasonable to expect that I would maybe have to block some of the entrances under furniture. However, if it fits going under it, I don't understand how it can get caught and not come back out. Either way, this isn't a huge deal to me and I don't mind blocking. -Side spindle brushes seem to already be wearing down after using it for a week. I will be surprised if they last long. All in all, I'm so happy with how it cleans and so unhappy with its ability to find its home. I'm considering returning as I want it to run independently while I'm away and don't seem to receive help from Amazon. ... show more

  • 9 month review in a home with lots of pet hair
Color: White
We've had Eufy for about 9 months now in a smallish house with 2 cats and a dog. At first, it was fantastic. Yes, it's "dumb", but it still got around and did a great job helping keep up with pet hair, etc. It also fits under most of our furniture quite well. We have fairly high thresholds in some of doors and it gets stuck on those a lot, but I'm sure many others would too so I don't count this against it. However, after about 9 months of use, it just isn't working well at all. All the hair just gets stuck on the roller brush and never actually gets sucked up into the compartment. Eufy then ends up collecting a giant clump of hair underneath it, which it will leave pieces of every time there is a surface change. We've changed all the parts a few times and we're still having the same issue. To me, it seems like the roller brush isn't spinning anymore so it's mostly just dragging that giant clump of hair around and leaving pieces of it everywhere. The wheels and other brushes are also overwhelmed by hair, to the point where one of the wheels doesn't even spin anymore and it's impossible to get the hair out. This eufy would probably be fine for a small, simple house or apartment without pets, but if you have a more complicated space layout and/or pets that shed a lot, I would not buy this. ... show more

  • Battery failed 10 months in, Eufy replaced for free.
Color: White
This product worked great until the battery failed after 10 months. We went through Eufy customer support to troubleshoot and they indicated that we needed a new battery. With proof of purchase they sent a replacement battery at no cost to us.

  • Good product
Color: White
Good product, but vacuum kept getting stuck, when going around bar stool. I wish this vacuum would have a feature to set up day of the week other than that. it is a great product.
