I’m not kidding. I was very, VERY skeptical of this straightener based on the price and the scattered reviews. I have long, thick (as in ‘can’t get the hair tie around my ponytail twice’ thick) naturally wavy hair. It usually takes me about 30-35 minutes to straighten my hair with my Chi. When my Chi stopped working after SEVERAL years, I low key panicked because I didn’t want to shell out the money to get a new one. I came across this absolute miracle of a straightener and threw caution to the wind and bought it. This morning, I straightened my hair after washing it last night (so I really put it to the test with my natural hair) and it took me 15 MINUTES. And it’s PERFECTLY straight. Pin straight, even. I am suuuuper impressed. If you’re on the fence, just buy it. Don’t let the price sway your decision.     • Does snag but...
I saw other reviews that said it snags the hair. TRUE. I have a pixie cut that is growing into a bob so for right now it is not a big deal but when it gets longer I doubt I will use this as my go to. The glide is not as smooth either as it is with the irons that have the black plates. I'll keep for the price..to use as a back up. ... show more
