Value and construction are fine. But it's too narrow to be a tent pole bag. I have 9 tents and the poles either won't all fit or are too much work to put in because it's too tight. Probably fine for some really tiny tents.

There's not a lot to say about a bag like this but I wanted to note for others potential buyers this item seems well made and I'm sure it'll serve my purpose.     • Perfect for take apart fishing rod
I bought this to use as a holder for my take apart fishing rod. It did the trick as the rod breaks down into 5-6 individual foot long pieces. It came with a case, but it was big and bulky. This is very slim and pliable and worked really well/

I see some reviews complaining about quality or item not as pictured. The one I got is good quality and is as pictured, I can't fault it for that as an inexpensive pole bag, though there's only one picture and not much of a description as of my writing. Therein lies my rub. Advertising this as a pole "bag" with dimensions of 32" x 4.5" implied to me that this was a sack with a 4.5" diameter, just what I needed for my 4" diameter handful of poles. But NO. This is not a bag with any diameter, it is a flat thing that is 4.5" wide with no thickness other than the material and stitching. Getting a 2.5" wad of poles in there is a tight fit. If that was what I wanted, I'd be good for 4 or 5 stars depending on whether I wanted to whine about the short, untied drawstring or just tie it myself. As is, though, I'm still chafed about getting two of these bags and not being able to fit my stuff into both of them, let alone one. ... show more

The 4.5" x 30" bag has plenty of room for two 6-foot REI Co-op Adjustable Tarp Poles. Each pole is 19mm in diameter and broken down into four 22-inch sections. The buckle on the bag is a nice touch. Fold the top over, snap in the buckle, and pull the strap to tighten. The poles inside won't move around and won't make noise. It is nice that there is a row of webbings on the back of the bag, which can be used as attachment points. It's worth the price and I might buy a few more. ... show more
