This has held up well on many camping trips. I have discovered how much a tent base helps. If you have the room, bring one with you . I have used this about 10 times now on differnt ground types. It helps protect and prolong the life of your tent. I recommend this for any camper.

In the crazy state of the world (eco, financial, political) my family is putting together emergency bags to keep in our cars. All the resources say have a tarp, to make an emergency shelter. The problem is they are heavy and we were looking for something more compact and lighter to fit in backpacks. These fit the bill!! This has been used as a groudsheet under a tent, for car-camping. It's the right size for our tent, which is an 8x8, so we have a little bit extra to use in the tent vestibule, which is nice. The fabric looks pretty durable and with a light rain one night, this tarp didn't absorb much water, and was still easy to flick clean and fold up.
