Great length, strings are a bonus. Easy to install and easy to remove. Seem to be sturdy and well made. Bought these to hold a canopy tarp in place especially on windy days. Currently used them on a camper outdoor sand rug to hold it in place and they worked very well. The plastic piece on the stake helped protect the rug from damage and made removal of the stake easy, but not so easy that it didn't hold the rug in place.
