This stays in my go-bag. I love how it has held up for several years with no issues. The quality of the loops allows me to tie off at several points and quickly construct a cover system for the tent or shade or as a tent itself. Waterproof and can be used for water collection if needed. Very good quality for the money with this one.

Let me start of by saying that the 1st tarp was absolutely great and exactly what I was expected! I wanted something lighter than ripstop nylon and still just as usable. These tarps are alot like the material used in most tents, or at least thats how it feels. I got 2 of the 10x10 tarps. Both weigh less than 1.5 pounds each. i cant be exact because my scale doesnt read lower. Id wager they are about 1 pound. Ill talk about the 2nd tarp then explain my experience. The 2nd tarp came out of the package and had a miscolored patch. I know it wasnt stained because the spot still shed water the same as everywhere else. It also has a spot where the seam was mis-stitched, the stitching removed, and then resewn. Its a very obvious defect. however, I had no leaks through either tarp after using them in a basecamp for a week during heavy winds and rains. I would recommend these tarps but definitely make sure you inspect if out of the box for defects! Check out Half Pace Outdoors and Homestead on YouTube for my quick video review of this tarp!!!

Excellent quality tarp that came in handy for recent camping trip to help keep things dry. This is a nice big size and lots of tie down loops to keep it taught and secure. A nice waterproof thickness and the functionality of this tarp is numerous - I think we will get good use out of it as it looks built to last far more than your average tarp. The waterproof bag, stakes and ropes are great and easy to store all together.

We purchased this nylon tarp as a waterproof cover for a portion of our deck. We originally tried "sunsails" but very quickly appreciated that they had no water resistance. We were looking for: 1. waterproof, 2 size, 3. lightweight. This tarp met all three of our criteria but we only gave it 4 1/2 stars due to an unforeseen issue. It stretches! The tarp is set as a sloped sheet away from the house eaves with 4 spring loaded corners. With this design it has easily withstood 30mph sustained wind gusts. However, we observed that it collects and holds water on the downside half of the tarp during and after rainstorms. That weight causes the nylon to stretch on that side. As time has passed the amount of water held by the tarp has incrementally increased as the deformation of that portion of the tarp toward the deck surface has become quite noticeable. We can reorient the tarp and use the other half but it will also eventually stretch and at some point soon we'll need to replace it. But with what? I believe that this problem would not be likely to occur so long as water did not pool on the tarp.
