We put a package per night in our Cedar Bluff Hobbit House Air BnB. We've had colorful fire packages before - but we have gotten a lot of comments from guests about these... as they use them in the firepit at night. The last guests had told their 3 year old granddaughter that the Hobbit House was a magical place. They gave her a stir stick for the fire pit as they prepared to make s'mores. They had taped a package of the Enchanted Flames to the end of the stick. They told her to watch for the magic. When the package caught there was a brilliant burst of color that continued the rest of the evening. They said they created a magical forever memory for their grandchild. I bought these for my godsons to surprise them during a bon fire and they loved them. The colors are bright and don't let off a strong odor or anything. They didn't last as long as we had hoped but there's quite a few in the pack so just be prepared to go through them all if you're trying to have it light up for a few hours.

It says non toxic but you don't want a face full of the smoke that comes off right when you throw it in the fire. I gave my niece a pretty big coughing fit with the first one. I thought I would need 3 or so for the camp fire but just one packet did the trick for much longer than I thought it would. The park ranger did stop by our site one night because they saw the blue flames and thought we were burning treated wood. They thought it was pretty cool once we showed them what it was.

It was the perfect amount to stretch throughout the night. Now I see why they sell these in bigger packs because they work exactly how they’re supposed to, except they’re not as intense in color as you’d expect it to. I believe a lot of this has to do with the size of the packets themselves so I started throwing in 2 packets at a time. I’d throw in more but was trying to stretch it out for the duration of our bonfire.
