Just ordered this to do some light chipping of my 3 year old peach and plum tree pruning and it did the job, no problems at all. I did the plum trees today and used the chips for mulch around each tree. Going to do the peach trees in a couple of days. I'll update if there's any issues.

I needed a small chipper because I only have a couple of trees on my lot, but when they drop, or I cut back sticks it is way more convenient to chip them then to bail them and have the city come pick them up on trash day. It does this job well enough. A bonus, that for some reason I didn't think of, was that I can now shred through the debris left when I prune my bushes. To me, this machine is noisy, but not as noisy as a gas-powered machine. I mean what do you expect? A machine made to chip sticks is not going to be quiet and so I was prepared for that. It was easy to put together; in fact, my son did it for me. I found the 45L mulch bag to be large enough for my purposes but may be on the small side if you are going to be putting this through heavier uses. As a bonus, the size of the machine is rather small compared to gas machines, so it does not take up a tremendous amount of space in my shed. Overall, I like it.

It does everything as advertised, just at severely reduced capacity. Very small wood chipper that can only take in small twigs, branches and dry leaves. Becomes an utter mess that clogs if done during a wet autumn day, or if the debris is excessively moist. Suitable only if you have a small yard in the city. We work in construction and regularly come across overgrown properties (bushes, shrubs, tall weeds, trees). Was hoping this would be helpful in reducing/compacting the amount of yard waste since yard bags are expensive. A single cleanup during heavy fall foliage can easily use up 6-8 yard bags since public parkway yard waste is unfortunately the owner's responsibility. Unfortunately this machine takes so long to shred through, it's quicker just to stuff/crush leaves by hand into yard waste bags.
