My only criticism: it was a bit too tall for my reading chair, but I removed one section of threaded pole to shorten it. This did require splicing wires. I needed a reading light in my book nook behind my recliner and didn’t have much space. This is perfect. Good range of light temperature and brightness. Remote control is awesome. The switches on the light pole itself are a little awkward but not enough to take away a star. I recommend.

Purchased this lamp as a Christmas present for my wife. She loved it but after 5 days both the remote control and controls on the lamps post stopped working. We tried the recommended reset instructions several times. Changed the remotes batteries, etc. - nothing worked. The only way to turn the lamp on or off now is by unplugging/plugging it in at the wall outlet. We are returning the item. Great product idea - poor quality.
