    • Heats well but I have a concern about product!

This heater came as a well presented item well packaged but once I installed it my impression is that the outside cabinet gets very hot! I have other infrared heaters that are better vented so the cabinets stay cooler. Have a concern about the safety.

This heater far exceeded my expectations! It was really easy to assemble and includes all of the necessary mounting hardware as well. It only has two settings, a low and a high. It comes with a remote control that works great! This heater also features a timer that can easily be set for up to 9 hours and it will automatically shut off. I ordered this hoping to heat our gazebo in the backyard during the colder months so we could do our backyard movie nights while still staying warm. It works great for heating that entire 12' X 10' space. Even on low setting it heats it up nicely and keeps everyone toasty, and the high setting makes it super warm in the gazebo.     • Not supposed to be used in a vertical position

I had looked over all the info and didn’t see anything about the position until it arrived and the booklet states it must not be used in a vertical position. I had a veito which I purchased in 2015 and it went out just recently. This one is a fraction of the cost of the veito, and I suppose it works if you want it to be horizontal and with only two heat settings , low and high, and a rather short cord. I may return it unless I can find a suitable place to hang it horizontally. ... show more
