What can I say... It's an Electric Kettle...But it's a nice one. It's a simple device that is convenient to use and energy efficient. The inside of the kettle is stainless steel (no smell & rust resistance) and the lid easily opens with your thumb on the button on top. It's also the right size for my needs. It allows me to fill up two large mugs of hot water for steeping my various kinds of tea. Just a little hint, be sure to press the "Boil/Off" pad first to turn on the kettle. You will see that the display will show the "212" temp (It's the default). Then you can press the "Temp" pad to select one of 7 preset temps. It heats up very quickly and shows the water temp as it starts to climb. I love the fact that it will maintain the temp you chose for up to 4 hours. If you forget it about it, it will shut down automatically after the four hours are up. I like using this kettle much more than my previous routine of using a microwave oven. I think you will too.

Okay, so far, I've purchased four of these kettles. I bought one, fell in love and bought another one for work, one for my boss, and one for our credit manager... You can only buy them one at a time, but that's okay, it's worth it. It's super easy to use, looks great, and heats up the water really fast. I love tea, but I've also just been leaving it on a lower setting for warm water to sip on throughout the day. The time shuts off after four hours, so there is no need to worry about it over heating. The outside of the kettle doesn't get super hot, which I liked because I leave mine on my desk all day at work. The interior, and spout, are all stainless steel, so the hot water never comes into contact with the plastic, if that is something you're worried about.
