We bought this for our tiny rv to make tea and coffee and it works well for the two of us. We like the size and stability. Cord length seems about right, not too short. The instructions are confusing around getting a specific temperature but we figured it out. We have to clean it with vinegar regularly to keep the scale off the bottom heating area.

I wish it had the 175-185 temp but still does the job since I don’t see myself spending over $100 for a kettle with those exact additional temp. Convenient when making tea. I just set it to 170 temp and 205 whenever I make instant coffee. I have filtered drinking water faucet so mildew or hard water is not an issue. So far quality is good and portability. The functionality of lid, I just wish it would open all then way up but that’s ok. Ease of cleaning, since I have filtered water, cleaning is a breeze. No leakage so far.

Purchased January 2026. By May 2026, roughly four months and light household use later the kettle began throwing a "C1" error on the display and cycling power on and off randomly when plugged in which is dangerous. It is no longer usable or trusted for home use. The failure itself would be one thing. What pushed me to write this review is what happened next: 1. Amazon's order page offered no return, replacement, or seller contact option only a link to leave a review. 2. Amazon Customer Service confirmed the item was outside the 30-day return window and declined to refund or replace it. 3. I asked for ZKBHOME's contact information to pursue a manufacturer warranty claim. The rep said she had to "escalate up the chain" to obtain it. I am not optimistic about a resolution at this point. A $43 kettle that lasts four months works out to about $11/month, and there is no practical recourse when it fails. It’s not the money but the poor customer service that is disappointing. The product itself looks and feels fine until the electronics give up, but at this reliability and support level I cannot recommend it. Look at brands with a clear published support contact and an honored warranty before buying.

I have a very old version kettle that was given to me my a special ladies that passed away. Therefore, it had sentimental attachments. However, when I saw this kettle I had to buy it. I love the double-layer insulation that it has. My current one had an iron inside which am told is not safe. The outside gets pretty hot too so you could only hold it by the handle. Knowing those I wanted to get a better one. This kettle boils water in minutes at 1200w stable heating. Once it finishes boiling I love that it stops on its own. It holds a good amount of water. The body doesn’t feel hot after use which makes it safe for everyone, especially if you have small kids that liked to touch. There are 7 temperature levels which makes it easy to set base on what you desire(coffee or tea). This kettle cord length is good. My previous kettle cord was extremely short and was not portable like this one. The digital display of what the temperature is can also be seen as a plus. The price is good and this kettle does a lot of things. All I can say is it a good buy and a must have.
