I bought this incubator as I get ready to start raising chickens, and so far I’m really pleased with it. It feels sturdy and well put together, and everything about it seems thoughtfully designed, which gives me a lot of confidence as a first-time user. The digital temperature and humidity controls are clear and easy to adjust, and I like that it monitors the environment continuously. The automatic egg-turning feature is especially helpful, since it takes the guesswork out of the process and keeps conditions consistent without needing constant checking. The external water bottle for humidity is another feature I appreciate. It’s nice not having to open the lid and risk changing the temperature. The clear, all-around view makes it easy and fun to watch the incubation process, and the included egg candler is a great bonus that saves having to buy one separately. If you're leading a hatching badge project, this incubator is exactly what you need. As a troop leader, my priority is keeping the project reliable and the girls engaged. This delivers on both counts. The best feature for a group is the set-it-and-forget-it automation. I don't have time to constantly babysit an incubator, so the digital temperature and humidity controls were a must. The automatic egg turning feature keeps the eggs healthy without me having to schedule manual turns every few hours. Just be sure to set a reminder to pull that turning tray out three days before hatch day. The educational value is fantastic. The clear view means all the girls can gather around and watch the embryos develop without obstruction. Plus, the egg candler is brilliant to let us safely shine a light through the shell to see the veins and the chick moving inside. That moment the girls see the final "pip" is pure awe, and it makes earning the badge unforgettable. The external water supply means no fussing with the lid to keep the temperature stable. Easy cleanup. It maximized our success rate while minimizing my stress. I highly recommend it for any educational group project!

Don't trust the warranty! I purchased this 3 months ago. I used it for 3 hatches, which were not that great, but barely passable, and then the power port stopped working. It is a short either in the cord or the port itself. I'm not sure. I had to tape the cord in place to keep it working long enough for the last hatch. Now it will not work at all! There is no power to it, and no matter how much I wiggle the cord, it will not turn on. I tried to contact the seller to activate the warranty. There is confusion in the description about how long the warranty lasts, but either way, I am well within the time frame. The description says the seller will respond to messages in 24 hours. I left them a message Jan 1st and it is now Jan 10th with no reply. I have a very large useless paper weight now.

Wow—this incubator is everything I hoped for and more! From the moment I set it up, I was impressed. It’s smart, incredibly user-friendly, and built with thoughtful features. The instructions are crystal clear, with pictures that make setup a breeze—even for a first-timer. I set the temperature to 99.4°F (setting +/- increment of 0.5°F steps), and within about 12 minutes, it was fully preheated with water inside. At first, the temp fluctuated a bit (my room was a chilly 60°F), but the manual had the perfect solution: use the included foam box for insulation. I’m so glad I didn’t throw it away—once I placed the unit in the foam, the temperature locked in beautifully at 99.3°F and stayed there! The built-in alarm is a lifesaver. If the temperature goes out of range, it beeps to alert you right away—huge peace of mind. And let’s talk features—this thing is loaded! It can hold up to 36 eggs (yes, 36!) and includes a built-in egg tester for candling—just press a button and shine the light through the egg to check progress. So cool! It also has an automatic egg-turner that gently rotates the eggs on its own—no manual flipping needed. Total game changer. Another awesome bonus: it comes with a flexible, custom-made rotating frame that adjusts to fit different egg sizes. Super cute little incubator that gets the job done!! It's at a good price point and it's very sturdy and controls humidity and temperature very well!! It is easy to set up and also to clean. When the chickens hatch there isn't too much space for them so that's something to note!!

It's a nice small incubator that's working so for. But it has no humidity control, so I have to adjust the humidity by adding or draining water to get it right. Also, the temperature settings can be adjusted in 1-degree increments, but this is not great for what I'm trying to hatch (cockatiels).
