I bought the EFCUT C30 Lite to replace a chipper from another brand that stopped working. You can see the difference in the outcome after chipping with the EFCUT and the other chipper. See the photo and it is clear that the other brand (middle pile) just could not match the quality of this EFCUT. The chips the EFCUT produced are not only great for using as chips for ground cover. weed control, and protecting plants, but the finer, smaller chips it produces will surely break down into the soil much quicker to deliver nutrients. I watched the videos on YouTube and did a bunch of research before purchasing the EFCUT. It was clearly a better product. I agree with many others in their reviews. The EFCUT C30 is a beast! I was so impressed at how it started up right away with one pull and handled everything that I could throw at it from a large area I am clearing. It easily chipped up 3" branches. If it bogged down a bit on the larger branches, I would just back off the branch and then return it again and the chipper would eat it up. I took advantage of the Amazon Black Friday deal so I also saved a bunch of money. I am so pleased with this machine and would highly recommend it. Assembly was very easy and took me about 1/2 hour. Other reviewers noted that there was extra blades that were included when they bought theirs. Perhaps the company discontinued that extra add-on because I did not receive extra blades. Again, truly amazing product!

Nice design, heavy duty sheet metal construction, easy assembly, engine started on the first pull, plenty of power, ran like a charm. It'll do 3" logs, but it's really for the 2" or less. It eats 1"-2" stuff no problem. For the garden mulch and fall cleanup I'm going to use it for...it's perfect. Big enough to handle my needs, small enough to move and transport easily. One thing...the mfg's. call for 15W-40 motor oil, but that is very hard to find. Several auto parts stores said they stopped carrying it years ago. I finally found it, last bottle at an Auto Zone. The mfg. gave it to me; he said it has been on the shelf forever and he wants to get rid of it.

Ok. I’ve had this thing for a few months. Here’s the deal. I bought it for leaf mulching bc while I have a normal yard, I have a tsunami of leaves every year. If you want this for wood, get something bigger as this thing can only handle thumb size branches. It also does not like dead or dried wood. It prefers green branches. But, as I stated, I wanted it for leaves and man, it’s a beast. I mulched my leaves twice and piled it all together and I’ve got some great compost. It’s almost the consistency of dirt only after a few weeks. Remember though, you gotta mulch your leaves twice. One major con is that to sharpen to change your blades, you gotta be Paul Bunyan. Assembly was pretty easy. It starts every time on the first pull. Overall pleased as I bought it for leaves. Would buy again.

It seemed fair to first write to the company to give them an opportunity to respond before posting a public review; but I never heard back from them, so here's my POV. It doesn't even come close to what the manufacturer claims it is capable of doing. We got this unit primarily to grind oak leaves as mulch for our yard; but there are occasional limbs and branches that fall from our 200-year-old oak tree, so also being able to chop limbs up to 3 inches into mulch sounded perfect. But alas, we spent a few hundred dollars to accomplish none of this. The unit starts and runs smoothly, but that's about it. To avoid jamming the feeding chute with dry leaves, I needed to feed one handful of leaves at a time and then wait for them to flow down the chute to be mulched before gently sprinkling the next handful into the chute. These were dry leaves without any limbs, branches or clumps mixed in; and every time I tried scooping up leaves with both hands and placing them in the chute (think a small bucket of loose, dry leaves), I needed to use a stick to poke and mix them up until they fed all the way through the mulcher. In the end, it took more than one hour to successfully mulch a pile of leaves it would've taken me about 10 minutes to bag up. As for limbs - this unit absolutely cannot handle a branch or limb up to 3 inches in diameter. In fact, just to mulch a dry limb that was less than 1 inch wide and about 3 feet long, took a few minutes and I needed to keep firm pressure on the limb as the unit slowly nibbled away at the limb. I tried using it a second time, varying the throttle speeds, using dry leaves, but had the same results; so we haven't used it since and spent the next few weeks bagging our oak leaves. Having not heard from the company about our concerns, we thought about selling it, but that would just upset the buyer when they discover they wasted their money, so we left it out by the curb and within a couple of hours, someone took home a free mulcher/grinder in mint condition on which they didn't waste their money.

Pros: Came well packaged Looks good Started up on 3rd pull Easy assembly Chips as stated, took me an hour to chip a yard of mulch. noticed blades not as efficient after 5 hours but still cut up to 12 hours chipping tall grass of about 7 stems at a time. The last 12-inches I don't chip. Easy to move around Blade inspection plate and shoot removal is adequate for changing blades (would not be fun to do this in the snow). Ran for 12 hours on less than 2 tank fills running at 2/3 throttle. This little thing works hard and has a strong motor...that impressed me. Cons: Would wait for the sales to buy...seems 40% over priced. Must remove wheels, intake shoot, exhaust shoot, and whole faceplate to unclog because the chipper flywheel mounting bolt to the motor shaft is proud instead of inset; bad design. Should have an inspection plate for this center bolt. Be very careful with green soft vegetation. When removing blades it is strongly recommended to replace the locking nuts....they aren't supplied nor a size given. I thought I was buying the 2 blade+6 hammer knife model that is why I spent a little more but it isn't that model. Be very carful, the names are so much alike. Watch out for potential bait and switch. If you have more than a couple of days of chipping at a time or a wooded lot, I would go with a larger chipper box and more HP. This is good but takes a lot of time to process, in 12 hours chipped 7 yards of mulch. Large piles will take a very long time to mulch. Modifications Planned: Hole drill the center back plate at the mounting nut and install an inspection plate so de-clogging is easier. A tangled string or weed is small at the nut and will be easy to remove. A clog here drags down the motor, heats up quickly, can cause a fire or over heat the motor shaft.

Works excellent, a little smaller than I anticipated BUT it chops the branches up just fine. More of a shredder than chipper but works great. Chops into @ 1/4 inch pieces. Arriving unassembled freaked me out initially but it had very easy to follow instructions. I put it together by myself in about an hour
