I have been using the WINBOT W2S PRO and so far I am really happy with it. It was easy to setup, and I like that it sprays and wipes as it moves across the glass. The suction feels strong, and it does a good job getting around the edges too. The biggest thing for me is how much easier it makes window cleaning. Instead of spending a lot of time doing everything by hand, I can let robot handle most of the work. It's been a really convenient addition, and I am glad I decided to give it a try. Considering the convenience, performance and overall quality, I think it offers a good value for the money.

I’m honestly so impressed with this glass cleaner! It made cleaning my windows so much easier and the results were amazing. The glass came out crystal clear and streak-free, and it reached areas that are usually difficult for me to clean. I especially love how much time and effort it saves compared to cleaning the windows by hand. I didn’t expect to love it this much, but after seeing the results, I’m definitely glad I got it. Such a useful tool to have at home!

I’ve been really happy with this window cleaning robot. I don’t just use it on windows either. I use it on my bathroom mirrors and shower doors too. It cleans really well and saves me a lot of time. It’s quiet, easy to use, and I can let it work while I’m doing other things around the house. I’m really glad I bought it!

In general, Ecovacs products have been game changers for me but this one is something else! This window cleaner cleans windows with internal trim that has a slight ridge that's higher than the glass. It handles sliding glass doors, windows, mirrors, etc. It will not clean oddly shaped, curved, or round surfaces, unframed glass like shower doors and frameless medicine cabinets, or windows that have trim sloping from the glass up to the frame (like a few older windows we have at home); in these situations, it will stop running and sound an alarm to let you know it needs to be removed from the glass. I have only had one situation where it seemed confused and did not finish a window. When I ran it again to test the area to see if the issue was the spot itself, it completed the task just fine. I think this is pretty good considering I cleaned so many windows with it at our family cabin the first time I used it—a total of five large sliding glass doors, two regular windows, and two mirrors—all of them cleaned inside and out! It was great because I could set it up to clean a window, go clean something else, and get much more done overall. I should note that I was pretty freaked out at first that it would fall off the window, but it never did—not even once. (In the video of it cleaning a mirror in a cabin room, you'll notice there's a plaid pillow beneath it. Ha ha!) Our windows at the family cabin have never been as clean as they are now. I mean, yes, I can clean windows, but this somehow doesn't leave streaks, whereas I usually do. Where you pull it off the window, you do have to take a rag and wipe it a bit. I also like to wipe the corners of the window. You will want to get extra cleaning pads because the more often you change them, the cleaner your windows will be. It comes with everything you need to get started, including a small bottle of cleaning solution to fill the robot with, a safety rope with a carabiner to secure it, a power adapter, wiping pads, a manual, and a great zippered storage case with a handle that makes it super easy for me to tote everything back and forth to the family cabin for window cleaning when necessary. I am super impressed, definitely recommend it, and would get it again. I have additional Ecovacs products that I have been similarly impressed with and an VERY happy with the brand.

This review covers the ECOVACS WINBOT W2S PRO Window Cleaning Robot. I am a fan of ECOVACS products. I have two Goat 1000 Robot Mowers and a DEEBOT Omni T30e Robot mop and vac, all made by ECOVACS. When I saw they offered a Robot window washer, I had to have it. Our house is three stories and has 30 windows/glass storm doors. We have been paying a professional window cleaning company $200.00 per time, twice a year to clean our exterior glass. Since the current price of the ECOVACS WINBOT W2S PRO is $399.00, it can pay for itself in one year. If you use it on your exterior and interior windows, it pays for itself even sooner. Unpacking the WINBOT reveals a zippered case, the actual WINBOT machine, a bottle of cleaning solution, two microfiber wiping cloths and easy to understand instructions. If you are new to ECOVACS products, you will be instructed to download their app. If you have other ECOVACS products, you already have the app. In either case, you add the WINBOT Robot to the downloaded app, which again is easy. Just scan the code attached to the WINBOT with your phone. Once added, you will be able to control important functions of the WINBOT with the app. The app give you control if cleaning functions, depending on whether you are cleaning an exterior window or cleaning an interior window. It also has you decide if your window is heavily soiled or lightly soiled. The choices you make determine how quickly the WINBOT cleans. There is even an option to control the path of the WINBOT manually. I did not use this option, but assume it is available for navigation to a soiled portion of the window that needs extra attention. Operation of the WINBOT is really simple. Wet the microfiber cloth, wring it out so it is not dripping wet and attach it to the machine via hook and loop. Fill the WINBOT tank with the provided cleaning solution. Next, place the WINBOT onto the window. There is a convenient handle on the WINBOT to help you hold it securely. With your thumb, you hold the start button for three seconds. You will hear a fan on the WINBOT start, the WINBOT will do a quick wiggle and a voice will say "WINBOT is firmly attached". At this point, you let go of the WINBOT, step back and be amazed. You will see this little machine spray cleaning solution, scrub to the very edge of the glass and move up and down the window, wiping up dirt, leaving clean glass in its trail. In two days, I thoroughly cleaned both the inside and outside of my windows. Since I have 30 windows, that equals 60 separate glass surfaces. I did not touch a ladder the entire time. I used the entire bottle of cleaner that was included with the WINBOT and also wore out the two included microfiber cloths. I ordered replacements, which are really inexpensive. I consistantly used one microfiber cloth for a first thorough cleaning, then switched to the second cloth for a light cleaning. I rinsed and wrung out both cloths after each surface area. I also cleaned the corner brushes after each surface. All of this was overkill to thoroughly clean each window for the first time. With proper maintenance, I should be able to dramatically speed up the process going forward. This ECOVACS WINBOT W2S PRO Window Cleaning Robot is amazing. I highly recommend it for its ability to leave windows clean and streak free with minimal effort.

I have two other ECOVACS window cleaning robots. This one is the best of the three. I love that this model comes with a compact storage case that actually fits everything. I keep the other two stored in their original packaging boxes. This storage/carrying case is much more convenient, and it looks great. This one has a unique tether system from the mini models I also have. The power cord is built into the tether. There is a point about 1/5th of the way from the power supply that has an 8" loop to wrap around a secure point. The manual shows the tether being used around the leg of a chair. That seems too low to prevent any accidental falling damage. The other models I have recommend tethering to a high point, which I always found difficult to find. After looking at this manual's recommendation of tethering to a chair, I'm not really sure why a tether is needed or what its purpose is. The power cord/tether is quite long, and I was able to reach all of my windows with it. For the other models, I need to use an extension cord to reach the highest windows. This one came with two microfiber cleaning pads that attach to the robot with a Velcro-style attachment. Both sides of the cleaning pad are microfiber, so when one side gets dirty, I just flip it over and clean the next window(s). Because this robot sprays cleaning solution on the window as it cleans, the cleaning pad absorbs the solution. The result is that the cleaning pad is super easy to clean in the sink by just rinsing it under running water. I don't even have to add any additional soap if I clean it before it dries. The app is simple to use and comes with different cleaning options. For the most part, it cleans the windows thoroughly. However, it sometimes misses corners and edges. There is a special edge mode or a manual remote control mode that can be used to get to these areas. I usually just run the complete cycle again. Sometimes, even running the complete cycle again won't clean it all, and I still need to wash the window by hand. My downside to using this robot on a regular basis is that to turn it on, the button on the robot needs to be held for a few seconds while the robot is pressed against the window. That means I can only clean windows that I can physically reach. And if I can reach it, I can clean it better and quicker using a paper towel, squeegee, and spray bottle. There should be a way to attach the robot to a pole to place it on high-up windows and use the pole to retrieve it. Also, even though this is the best cleaning window robot I have, it still misses spots, and I need to clean the window by hand. I also find that this robot sometimes leaves a wet spot, in the shape of the cleaning pad, when I remove it from the window. This seems to happen if the cleaning pad is too wet. Avoid spraying additional cleaning solutions on the window as a pretreatment.
