It works great but I got this as my back up system in my home built pull behind utility trailer camper build. I have added a diesel heater which is great, but if I am out of diesel fuel to keep that heater working, I may have enough battery power - I have 800W of solar panels on the roof and 2-200Ah lithium batteries so 400 Ah of power. I have tried to have some backup systems where I can, but this was an easy one because it is mounted to the wall and takes up so little space - I have it mounted on the wall next to my bed so if I'm camping and it's a cold night, this heater can keep me (and the entire small camper) warm. Very easy to install and with it being 600W, it works well in my camper as most of my regular electric appliances that I have for it are 600 to 800W or are 12V DC to keep use of my batteries electrical storage down. I'm impressed at how well it warmed up my smaller master bathroom and am happy with how it is a great backup heater when camping.

I'm always looking for ways to provide better or more efficient ways to heat rooms in our house. I saw this and had to try it out - here's what I like: - The unit is absolutely silent - even when it's warming or cooling off, there aren't any sounds of expansion or contraction. - The clean slate of white looks good, or you can paint on your own artwork if desired. - The provided thermostat is sensitive and responsive. - I like that while the power switch on the heater is illuminated, a cover provided to quell that lamp. - When fully heated, you can feel the heat up to around 8 feet away, without a fan. - A ceiling fan complements the heat provided by better distributing it within a room, extending its reach. - The provided drilling template does a good job during installation of making sure the mounts match the holes and getting the unit square on a wall. Installation took around 30 minutes, taking my time. Save the template in case the location needs to be changed in the future. - Some comments... - I'm not a fan of the plastic drywall mounts provided in the kit. While they work, they aren't very secure. I will be supplementing these with metal contraction mounts to make it more secure. The masonry mounts provided in the kit look like they would be fine provided the holes are drilled correctly. - Take a few moments when considering the mounting location. I would look for a centered location in the room away from an outer wall. You'll not want any furniture or clutter near the panel which would impede the convective distribution of the heat. Also, you should consider any artwork or pictures that may hang above the panel. My readings indicate the base of some picture frames 15" above the panel still hit 90° when the panel is fully on. I may create a small deflector to place under the pictures to deflect the heat outward to allow the pictures to stay cooler. Also, a provided heat deflector must be adhered to the wall directly behind the unit to protect the wall. - During operation, I saw surface temperatures of 185° on the face of the unit, and around 110° behind the unit. - I wouldn't mount this in an RV. The twisting and vibration an RV chassis take during transport will likely lead to failure. - The provided thermostat can monopolize an outlet - maybe not such a bad thing considering the purpose of this kit. While you can plug it into a heavy-duty power strip, I would just give it an outlet and move on. The 600-watt unit uses around 5 amps when fully on. - Since the thermostat is beneath the panel, you'll need to arrive at a best setting based on your environment. It will likely need to be set at a value much higher than you think since the heat will need to make its way down to the thermostat to activate it. Using a ceiling fan to better homogenize the heating should help. Overall, I think this is a good kit (except for the drywall mounts) for supplementing your heating for a given room. During the winter, we like the living room up to 10° warmer than the bedroom, so this works well towards that end without having to run the furnace or fireplace. As we get into our autumn and winter, I'll add any comments that might further color my review.

I had my eye on a couple of wall-mounted, 24/7 space heaters for my garage office, and this one caught my eye because it is paintable and blends with the wall well. It is quite a bit heavier than the competition, but it seems to be pretty good quality. It is currently summer here, so I am waiting until winter to really put it to the test. But it puts out a lot of heat once it's warmed up, and so I feel this 600W model will keep my 150sqft office nice and toasty, even with the 10-foot ceiling.
