Purchased 2 of these wall mount heaters for an addition we built onto our house that isn't connected to the main HVAC system. These 2 units quickly and easily heat this space which is approx 500 sq ft. They are thermostatically controlled via an app that is easy to set-up and use. Excellent heat output and they cycle off/on as needed when the temperature of the room starts to drop. They are very quiet and compact, not bulky and don't require a lot of wall space for mounting. There is no exposed infrared heating elements so safety is a key feature as well! I do highly recommend this product if your looking for an additional heating source. I hope this is helpful

I originally purchased this DREO electric smart wall heater to use in my camper, and in moderate cold conditions it performed very well. The unit is compact, easy to install, and includes an economy mode with a built-in thermostat, which made it appealing for winter use. In temperatures in the mid-30s and above, the heater does a good job maintaining comfort in economy mode and keeps electrical usage reasonable. It warms the space quickly, operates quietly, and feels safe in use, as the exterior does not become excessively hot. The app works well, the remote is convenient, and integration with Amazon Alexa is seamless. Where expectations need to be managed is in extreme cold. Once outdoor temperatures dropped into the negative teens and below (typical Alaska winter conditions), this heater could no longer adequately heat the camper on its own. To be fair, the camper is not underpinned, fully weather-sealed, or insulated for deep winter use, which significantly affects performance. Another important consideration is operating cost. In colder weather where the heater must run more aggressively, electricity usage increased noticeably. During a particularly cold month, my utility bill rose by over $150. While this is not unusual for electric heat under heavy load, it’s something buyers should factor in. Ultimately, this heater turned out not to be the ideal primary heat source for an unmodified camper in extreme cold. However, it still performs very well in less demanding conditions. I have since moved it into the house, where it now heats a master bedroom efficiently and reliably. This is a well-designed smart heater with good features and solid performance, but it’s best suited as supplemental heat or for milder climates rather than as the sole heat source in sub-zero environments. I will definitely return this heater to the camper in the future as supplemental heat. With a small wood stove installed, this heater would be useful during shoulder seasons, cool summer nights, or to help maintain temperature overnight as the fire burns down. In those roles, it makes much more sense than relying on electric heat alone in extreme cold.

Great unit, exactly what was needed to take the edge off the cold in a small bathroom. It has a sleek look and runs super quiet. Heat output is great. One feature that was a must for me was the ability to select the heat intensity. I run the unit on H2 (medium) and it warms the room super fast. The higher setting is actually too much for most days but I'm happy that I have the option to really crank it up. The placement is in a small bathroom in a log home with radiant boiler heat. I mounted it above the radiator and it tucks in to the area nicely. A bonus is that I placed a towel rack above the heater and that makes it double as a towel warmer. Using the house heat to bump up the temperature in the bathroom worked fine except that other areas on that "zone" would also get warmer and I didn't need (or want) that. This unit allows me to heat just the bathroom. I am very pleased with the unit and would buy again (actually, my wife is now asking for one in her bathroom too!).

We have a room without heat due to an add-on renovation. We decided upon trying out a wall heater instead of installing an expensive mini split system. Dreo was recommended by my sister who has two of the larger ones in their downstairs. They have been very happy with them. We chose this smaller version because we are only looking to supplement heat in a small room. The size is perfect and the unit does a good job at providing heat to the room. My only complaint is that after running for a week in Eco mode (we want to just keep the heat set at a certain temp, we find that the heater sometimes ignores the ambient temp and heats the room about 5 degrees hotter. When this happened, I reset the unit by turning off the heater and unplugging it for a minute. Everything went back to normal except that it still does not read the ambient temp of the room accurately. I have a wifi thermometer in the room so can monitor the temp. I keep having to change the temperature offset on the Dreo unit to match the ambient temperature of the room. This is quite frustrating. It's a great heater if you just want to monitor it but if you want to set it and forget it, it's lacking.

Love love love this heater. I love that it mounts on the wall. It heats my basement office really nicely. I love the remote and love the app even more. I have it on a schedule so it turns on right before I start working and turns off at the end of the day. I don't have to worry about leaving it on all night by accident anymore. Its very quiet and compact. Hardly takes up any space on the wall. Overall this was a great buy!

An awesome wall mounted heater. The unit is a reasonable size, is cool to the touch aside from the vent, and puts out very nice heat. We actually installed this in our chicken coop for the winter. Other heaters we've used were too loud and the chickens hated them. Heat lamps are a fire hazard. This unit is very quiet and you can turn off the full display so it's not bright in the dark. It has 4 modes: low, medium, high, and "eco" which is the mode with a thermostat setting. This is what we use. The app works really well. The unit connects to WiFi and we can see the current ambient temperature, change settings, turn the unit off and on on our phones. The system supports schedule settings, so you can program it to turn on or off at different times and days of the week. It has an overheating safety feature that shuts it off automatically. Highly recommended.

We live in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. All the homes up here have baseboard heating which is notoriously expensive for the electric bill. I don't want a $600 or $6000 heating bill so I'm researching more reasonable options. I tried this heater in my daughter's bedroom this morning. It was 46 degrees outside and 65 degrees inside according to our airthings monitor. We got a hockey stick rise in temp within minutes. She wakes up at 7:15 and leaves for school at 8:20, so I only kept it on while she was getting ready and out the door. The temp was at 73 within 15 minutes in her 12x13 bedroom. I installed a 2nd unit on the other end of a 1,000 sqft level of the house in the open concept kitchen/living room opposite her bedroom. That room started colder. It's 20x20 give or take and it was also 73 degrees within 15 or 20 minutes. I'm impressed. The unit is small, light and seemingly flimsy. I didn't expect it would be useful, but it's impressive. Now, the big test ... what will our electric bill be? More to come. Between the 2 units, it heated the entire 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath 1,000 foot level of a split level house from 65 to 73 this morning. I'll be interested to see how it performs under a more strenuous load when the temps are lower outside and as previously mentioned, I'm very curious to see my heating/electric bill. I put our summer tower fan in front of it to help it move the heat further out into the house. The images on this are screenshots from Airthings which I used to track the temp as well as radon, carbon dioxide which builds up surprisingly fast in a closed house with a couple of people and/or pets, humidity and volatile organic chemicals which climb daily when we lay on our beds. Used when our woodstove was being repaired- was a lifesaver. Not too expensive to run when used on Eco but it’s still an electric heater. I love the feature of the app on my phone. We recently went out of town for my father-in- laws funeral and had to leave the dogs in their kennels inside the house, I was able to turn on the heater for them remotely with the app when it got too cold in the house. It is great for that type of circumstance. When we got home a little later house was warm. It’s sturdy and safe and definitely puts out the heat. The auto shutoff is nice as it will do this when it has heated to the desired temp. It’s a nice little unit. Does not take up much space at all.
