I use these, the side ways one and an electric fireplace as my main heat source. Replaced my forced air, works much better and cheaper. Easy to use and safe. Gives off enough heat to keep room heater without getting too hot to touch. Was worried about that as I have toddler grandchildren but it doesn’t even get hot enough to hurt, let alone burn. The only reason to get a stand up heater instead of this is if you want to put it away at times. Otherwise, this is a good purchase. Also, not my main concern but they are very quiet. An awesome wall mounted heater. The unit is a reasonable size, is cool to the touch aside from the vent, and puts out very nice heat. We actually installed this in our chicken coop for the winter. Other heaters we've used were too loud and the chickens hated them. Heat lamps are a fire hazard. This unit is very quiet and you can turn off the full display so it's not bright in the dark. It has 4 modes: low, medium, high, and "eco" which is the mode with a thermostat setting. This is what we use. The app works really well. The unit connects to WiFi and we can see the current ambient temperature, change settings, turn the unit off and on on our phones. The system supports schedule settings, so you can program it to turn on or off at different times and days of the week. It has an overheating safety feature that shuts it off automatically. I used to have a Dreo smart space heater, but it got recalled. I wanted another Dreo unit, but the only smart unit they have now is a wall mounted unit. I didn't want to mount it on the wall, for various reasons, so using very inexpensive parts, I built my own portable wall. I put a little tray on the bottom to hold the remote. (I don't know why all of the space heaters don't come with a magnetic remote) The unit works great. It heats the room quickly and it's very quiet. I already had the Dreo pedestal fan, and easily added the heater to the app. Auto oscillation would be a nice feature for future models, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. I would definitely buy this heater again. ... show more

I've owned this wall mounted heater for more than a year, and it continues to perform very well. I use it when my bedroom is cold, rather than turning up the heat on the entire second floor. This Dreo heater is compact but fully controllable via the remote control or the Dreo App on my cell phone. It's easy to turn off and on, set the heating temperature, set a timer, or shut off the indicator lights all wireless. This was a good purchase and does its job well. A great heater for the price and many cool features. There are a lot of heaters out there and I tried to do my research before buying the Oreo Smart Wall Heater - IP24. This heater has the ability to connect to my phone through an app and I can control the temperature from anywhere. It pumps out a lot of heat when I need it and can conserve power with its ECO mode. It has a small foot print and doesn't take up much wall space. The setup was easy and the install on the wall was quick. Everything came with the heater for a fast install. I almost gave my review a 4 star for the cheap mounting hardware like other reviewers have shared... But the heater is so good - I couldn't. I would advise you to purchase your own mounting hardware for a no issue install. ... show more

I've had this heater in my bathroom for nearly 8 months now, and I'm extremely happy with it so far! It works well, is easy to control from either the remote or my phone. It heats the bathroom quickly, and you can program it to turn on during specifically scheduled times. It's sleek and easy to mount on the wall as well. So far seems to be great quality for the price!
