Description

This Radiant 10,000 BTU Liquid Propane Vent Free heater is the perfect supplemental heating solution even on the coldest days. It is equipped with a multi-output valve for easy temperature regulation and a convenient Piezo ignition built right into the rotation of the knob for one handed ignition. This unit can be permanently mounted to the wall or securely fastened to the floor with included mounting brackets and fasteners. Multiple burner tiles utilize radiant heat warming your space with the power of the sun. With a factory standard Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS), rest assured this heater will provide you with years of comfortable and safe heat.WE ARE NOT ABLE TO SELL THIS PRODUCT TO CANADA AND CALIFORNIA Please note when operating this heater at altitudes over 4,500 FT above sea level could cause pilot/ODS to shutdown the heater.

I bought this heater almost three years ago and it's worked like a champ. I've never had a single problem with it. I bought the 10,000 btu heater, hung it on the wall, then drilled a hole through the wall for a 5' stainless propane hose so that I could set my barbecue propane tank outside. Even the low setting, which I almost always use, produces more than 3x the heat of my electric space heater. And on low my 20lb propane tanks usually last about a week (that's intermittent use; 3-1/2 days running non-stop). I don't know much about the Mr Heater brand, but I would definitely buy this again. I use this as supplemental heat, when the furnace just cant give good enough good heat its nice to use in the morning or evening, or when you come home after a long day outside, it's nice to cuddle up front of, something you cannot do with central heating! its unvented, but of course you need to take the proper precautions, I have used these types of heaters 20 years or more! a great choice, highly recommended, when used properly!! ... show more

We have several on-wall similar heaters and they do not set off the CO alarms, need no additional venting than the drafty old ranch house naturally has. This thing set off alarms like crazy - Burns both burners on low or high and does so very inefficiently compared with the other heaters. Uses a loud piezo-electric starter which much be used several times to get the pilot going, a very inferior product to others on the market that cost the same or less. We thought the name brand was important - it's the mark of poor quality. Also, this thing uses a kitchen-stove sized feeder hose, you will need adapters to hook it up to the normal in-house natural gas or propane outlet if you have them. Would have returned, but the time limit ran out before we could deal with it. Will likely be replaced in the future and given to charity. ... show more

Added photo 11-6-23. Heavy steel wedge on two strips of stainless steel for base. Wedge acts as heat sink and keep fan from getting too hot. I only use this when its to warm outside to burn wood.
