Ordered this to replace a larger, older, less effective space heater in a small bedroom of about 120 sq ft. Right out of the box it was easy to setup and use the features. I figured them out without needing to read the manual. The immediate heat output was pretty impressive at the default temperature setting of 84F on high (the H3 setting). I lowered the temp to 69F on the H1 setting so that the heat wasn't blasting, but then set it on a timer just to let it take the chill out of the room during the day. Within the first 10 minutes I already noticed a huge difference. I like the construction of it - it is modern and sleek and polished looking. It has a small footprint and the oscilating feature is really nice to spread the warm air around. On the H1 setting, the fan is pretty quiet and will be totally acceptible for not disturbing sleep. I got the "starlight" color, which is white with nickel silver accents, and I like it much better than the previous bulkier black space heater we had sitting on a desk, especially against white walls. I'm glad I went with the white unit as I can see the control buttons on the top easily (we have a black tabletop Dreo fan and its impossible to see the buttons without turning on a bright light). The remote is a nice feature and responds easily from across the room. Only wish the remote had lights on it so that you could see the buttons in the dark. Speaking of lights, I was a little concerned that the unit's display would show the heat setting light continually, which is kind of large and bright. But the display light turned off after a few moments in use. The only lights that remain on are a small soft bluish white circle and a small soft red circle, both located on the front of the machine along the top silver strip. The lights appear to be slightly diffused, too; neither are bright so aren't a nuisance at night while trying to sleep. Overall, a great unit! Highly recommend. ... show more

    • Great heat, easy functioning, timer!

We've only had a couple of cold nights so far this year. I bought 2 of these to heat about 1200 sq ft in my house because my furnace has completely gone out and at the moment, I don't have the finances to replace it and don't want to finance it. I love, LOVE that I can set a timer on these and not have to wake up to a cold house. I also check my electric usage through my local utility provider's app and compared to last year, on the days I had them on for 12 hours each, I used less than half the electric than this same time last year, so even once the furnace is replaced, I'll probably use these for cost efficiency. When it was 40 outside, the inside temp was 65 which is perfect for me. I had the temp on these set to 70 and they would shut off automatically when the air around them, I assume, reached that temp since I doubt they can accurately reflect the temp in a larger space. Still, that 5 degree difference isn't an issue and not, in my opinion, reflective of the quality of the heaters, but has more to do with the total space. It did take longer to heat the whole area than I'd imagine it would take to heat a smaller area but again, that has more to do with the amount of space. I also have 3 large dogs and I like that these sit close to the ground so they're not easily turned over compared to the higher tower types. I haven't had any issues with my animals around them. Overall, they put out great heat, well designed, and at a good price (with additional electrical usage cost saving benefits). ... show more

Ive had this heater a little over a month and ive been using it just about every night since my rooms heat does not work properly at all. It warms up my room quickly on the lowest setting. My only complaint if you want to call it that is it started to make a squeal noise while oscillating, I fixed this by putting some drops of some oil I had laying around on the base where it rotates, its kind of hard to get oil down to it if you dont have a small needle like tip and you'll need to put some drops all around the front, not too much and the squeal will go away and back to normal. ... show more

My bedroom is currently a basement with a very heavy draft. As it is becoming winter, my bedroom gets so cold I can see my breath some nights. My fiance and I decided to get this space heater, and it is small but mighty. Draft or not, this thing keeps the room warm. No more waking up shivering. I set this heater to 65⁰F on eco mode and let it run throughout the night, and we wake up nice and toasty. It doesn't take long at all to warm up the room, and isn't too costly on the bills either. I also love that it comes with a remote, so I can adjust the temperature or timer from the comfort of my bed. Also we have a curtain to try and help with draft control, and found out that this heater has a safety setting. If the curtain accidentally blows onto the heater, it will shut off for fire prevention. ... show more
