I have a step through e bike and the design of the rack is such that it can accommodate and adjust to the structure of the bike. This is the most smartly engineered bike rack I have found. So easy to install. Holds two bikes and when your done it folds up and rolls into your garage or as I do, put it in the back of my truck. Overall I'm giving it 5 stars because of the ramp, the folding and rolling storage, and easy straps. Plus it held up solidly for 600 miles Pros - 1) Seems sturdy, despite the plastic cradle 2) I love that it folds up easily and has wheels 3) Did a great job carrying the bikes more than 600 miles 4) Love the ramp! I thought it would be a bit cheesy and I almost didn't get it, but I'm SO glad I ended up getting it. Really is a game changer. Cons - 1) The clamp on the inside doesn't have enough clearance room on the side for the strap to pass through easily 2) The plastic feels a bit flimsy. Improvements 1) I would like to see metal plates built in to attach magnetic trailer lights for better safety 2) It needs about 2 inches more and an upward angle on each side to better accommodate an average sized ebike. Mine sat just barely inside and I had to be very careful loading. 3) Locking hitchpin would be a nice option instead of the pin on the side 4)

I've owned several hitch-mounted bike racks over the years, and this is easily one of the most impressive. The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box was how substantial it is. This isn't a lightweight, flimsy rack. It's built from heavy-duty steel, has a quality finish, and everything about it feels premium. It even comes fully assembled, which was a pleasant surprise. I simply slid it into my 2-inch receiver, secured the hitch pin, and it was ready to go. The integrated loading ramp is one of the standout features. If you've ever tried lifting a heavy e-bike onto a rack, you know how awkward it can be. Being able to simply roll the bike up the ramp instead of deadlifting it is a huge improvement, especially for larger electric bikes. It's one of those features you don't realize you need until you've used it. Once the bikes are loaded, everything locks down securely. The wheel straps, ratcheting frame arms, and anti-wobble system work together to keep the bikes from moving around while driving. Even over rough roads, I was impressed by how solid everything remained. I also like the extra spacing between the bikes, which helps prevent handlebars and pedals from banging into each other. Another feature I really appreciate is how easy this rack is to handle when it's off the vehicle. The built-in wheels and carrying handles make moving it around the garage surprisingly easy despite its weight. The folding design also allows it to store in a much smaller footprint than I expected, and the tilt feature makes accessing the rear of the vehicle simple without removing the entire rack. It's obvious this rack was designed by people who actually use e-bikes. Small details like the reflective strips, wheel protection covers, integrated locks, and tool-free installation all add up to a product that's both practical and enjoyable to use. Pros: outstanding build quality, extremely sturdy, comes fully assembled, integrated loading ramp is a game changer, built-in wheels make moving it easy, folds for storage, excellent anti-wobble system, tilts for rear vehicle access, fits fat tires and heavy e-bikes, quality locking mechanisms and thoughtful design throughout. Cons: it's definitely a heavy rack, but that's the tradeoff for having a 200-pound capacity and such a solid, confidence-inspiring construction. Overall: This is one of those products where you can immediately tell where your money went. Everything about it feels well engineered and built to last. If you own one or two heavy e-bikes and want a rack that's easy to use, incredibly secure, and packed with useful features, I think you'll be extremely happy with this one. It's easily one of the nicest hitch-mounted bike racks I've used.

I bought this because I wanted a more affordable way to carry two e-bikes instead of using my current single-bike rack. On paper, it seemed like a great value, but after using it, I realized there are quite a few compromises. For that reason, I’m giving it 3 out of 5 stars. To start with the positives, it absolutely does its primary job. It securely carries two e-bikes, feels stable while driving, and I never felt concerned about the bikes moving around during transport. One feature I really like is the built-in transport wheels. They make it incredibly easy to remove the rack from the hitch, roll it into storage, and bring it back when needed. It’s a small feature, but one that makes a noticeable difference. Where this rack starts to lose points is convenience. The wheel straps and securing system work, but they’re much more cumbersome than some competing racks I’ve used. I’m sure it becomes easier with practice, but compared to premium bike racks, loading and unloading simply takes more effort. The included loading ramp is another mixed bag. It’s nice that a ramp is included, especially for heavy e-bikes, but it doesn’t store on the rack itself. Instead, you have to keep it somewhere else, like your trunk or cargo area. That means one more accessory to keep track of, and it would be very easy to forget or misplace. I really wish the ramp integrated into the rack like some higher-end models do. Another design choice I found odd is the anti-wobble system. Instead of using a locking hitch mechanism with a dedicated key, it relies on a standard lock arrangement. It works, but from both a convenience and security standpoint, it feels like a step backward compared to other racks in this price range. Overall, this rack feels like it was designed to save money, and in many ways it succeeds. However, that lower price comes with compromises in everyday usability. The core functionality is there, but many of the convenience features that make premium racks enjoyable to own are either missing or handled in a less polished way. Would I recommend it? That depends. If your primary goal is simply transporting two e-bikes without spending a fortune, this rack will absolutely do the job. However, if convenience, integrated storage, and ease of use matter to you, I’d recommend spending a little more on a higher-end rack. After using both styles, I’ve realized those extra convenience features are worth more than I originally thought. For me, it’s a solid 3 out of 5 stars. It works, but it doesn’t make the experience enjoyable enough for me to recommend it without reservations.

I ordered the IRON DEER Eco Pro Upgraded 200 lb E-Bike Rack with Ramp to replace a rack that could only carry one e-bike. Since most of my riding buddies also have e-bikes, I needed something sturdier to safely transport two heavy bikes at once. My first impression was just how solid this rack is. It's built from high-strength steel and aluminum, and it's definitely heavy-duty. In fact, I had to remove it from the box before I could move it around due to its weight. Fortunately, the built-in wheels and handles make it surprisingly easy to maneuver like a cart, and when not in use, it folds up neatly for storage. Installation on my Chevy Equinox was straightforward because the rack arrived pre-assembled. One of my favorite features is the extended loading ramp, which makes getting heavy e-bikes onto the rack much easier and saves a lot of lifting. The 200-pound weight capacity provides plenty of confidence when carrying two e-bikes. Once loaded, the bikes feel very secure thanks to the locking system and anti-wobble design. I also appreciate how easy it is to remove the rack when needed. The tool-free hitch system makes installation and removal quick, and the tilt feature allows access to the rear of my SUV without having to take the rack off completely.
