This is my FAVORITE bedding for our chicken coop and brooder. We do the deep litter method and it literally never smells. I just cleaned our coop out yesterday after 6 months of deep litter method and it had no smell to it (although I do wear a N95 when cleaning out and wet down the litter before I remove). I also noticed there are never any bugs in my coop, maybe my chickens eat them or maybe it’s the Saturday Lime I use monthly. I honestly cannot recommend this product enough, it is superior to all bedding I have ever used, low dust, literally absorbs all moisture, no smell, happy chickens! Only thing is that I wish they carried it at tractor supply or rural king locally. Shipping does take a bit.

I will never buy anything other than this brand of hemp! I learned the hard way! Perfectly ground to perfection. My chickens love it. I tried another brand that was a little cheaper and it was horrible. It was more like hay and pieces were so big! My chickens were not happy!

I have a brooder with 13 chicks. There’s no smell !! I was extremely concerned about the “chicken smell” seeing as how the brooder is in my living room. There’s literally no smell! I’ve also tried clean coop and compared to hay/straw products Eaton crushes it. The dust from the Clean Coop makes my chicks sneeze. Seeing as chickens are susceptible to respiratory problems that’s not a good sign. So it’s hemp bedding for me. I was shocked at how little dust there was. The downfalls of this stuff is that it’s not cheap and it doesn’t come in larger bags. Even checking the website, the largest amount is 6 bags. At first you think it’s decent savings at 15% off but they hit you with 15$ shipping and your only saving about 8$. I really do love this stuff and want to use it in my large coop but I’m concerned how much money that will cost ( doing the deep litter method and you need 4-6 inch deep) to get the thick layer I need.
