So far I am pleased with this hose, It has a nice heavy weight to it, but not too heavy to move around. Water flow seems strong and there is no leaking at spigot area. Seems to be a sturdy product and hasn't kinked up yet. ***One suggestion, do NOT open it indoors, it stinks, and it's pretty bad. As soon as I started unwrapping the hose, I was hit with the horrible odor and took it outside immediately. Today, the 2nd day outside, I can still smell it, hopefully it will go away in a few days. Probably a decent hose (haven’t used it yet) but the toxic smell is horrible!! I would have bought a slightly more expensive hose if I had known it would smell so badly. My whole garage now smells like some kind of nasty chemical and it’s nearly impossible to get the smell off your hands! Hope leaving it outside for a while will help.. ... show more

This hose got solid reviews, which is why I purchased it. Right out of the box it had a strong smell unlike any hose I've ever purchased, an odor which gets on your hands and anything it touches. I'm sensitive to smells and this seems somewhat toxic. We NEEDED a hose right now so had to try it. It appears solid enough but is heavy and hard to coil back up after use.
