    • Extend your backyard patio season with a little extra heat

Excellent patio heater for those times where you wanna be outside but it it's just a little bit too cold. It is amazing how much heat this will put out and we even had to keep it down at about half because it was getting too warm. Super simple to use as long as you have a propane tank. Takes about 20 to 30 minutes to assemble and then just hook up the tank and you're ready to go. Lightweight and easy to move. The only problem with any of these is storing and would not use. I recommend getting a patio heater cover and try to keep it out of the weather so it'll last for years. Excellent value and now we're done with it for the season but look forward to next fall in winter when we'll pull it out again so we can continue to enjoy the backyard long path this season. This is definitely a quality heater. I assembled it in about 50 minutes, and that includes about 10 minutes of unpacking. I recommend fully unpacking everything and disposing of all the packaging materials before you start assembly. The included wrenches didn't work for a couple of the nuts due to clearance issues, so you may want to have a socket wrench ready. I assembled it inside, not realizing how TALL it is! It does roll easily on the wheels though, so I got it tilted and out the door without too much problem. I picked up a propane tank at the store and fired it up. It works great! The heat throw is pretty good if you're within 5 feet. It is a nice looking, functional addition to my deck. My only negative is that the "table" part isn't really a table, it's just the top of the tank cover. You can sit stuff on it but it's small. The directions say not to have it less than 4 feet from anything flammable, so be aware of that when choosing where to put it. I'll probably have to move it away from my deck rails. ... show more

This heater does require a good deal of assembly, but the instructions are really clear and the parts are well labeled. The insturctions say that assembly tales about 60 min and they recommend 2 people. I was able to do it alone and it took me a little less time than that. Once assembled, I couldn't believe how tall it is! I'm only 5'2" and it takes a full arm extension to reach the ignition and dial. Definitely not a problem for a tall person to stand underneath it! We're using it on a tile patio, so we're not able to use the ground anchor. I'm little concerned if it's really windy, but a good cover keeps the top shield from catching the wind. It's not too heavy, particularly without the propane tank and wheels are sufficient. Overall it's a good heater and looks nice, but I took off a star because it came with rust spots on the main cover that goes over the propane tank. It looks like little rust dots where there is maybe some interior screws or pins. ... show more
