I received my heater very quickly. It was beautifully packed and the instructions were easy to follow. The nuts and bolts and such were well labeled and organized. I had an accident with the heater - all my fault - before I could use it. I contacted the company to see if I could buy the damaged parts instead of buying a whole new heater. They answered my inquiry quickly and were very helpful. They sent me the parts at no charge and those also came quickly. I can't say enough about the wonderful customer service. I surprised my husband with this for his birthday. It’s great. Easy to assemble by myself (I’m not handy) and rollled it back to our patio unassisted. Gives off enough heat for us (family of 4) and works as it should.

The manufacturer (East Oak) did a great job of packaging all the parts and making assembly very easy. I fired it up and was pleasantly surprised out how much heat it put out. This isn’t a heavy duty restaurant grade patio heater but it works fine and was cheap.

The instructions for assembly were great. Ease of putting it together was incredible. I've owned it for about 30 days. The igniter stopped working after day 3 and now, at about day 30, it stopped lightning manually and just sputters out. Please don't waste your money. Go buy any other brand instead. I have put this heater on my back deck. If you see the picture, feel free to NOT come at me for not observing the clearance recommendations. It's not going to stay in that spot while in use; it's only stored there. Having addressed that... This heater performs very well pushing out the heat. While the top dispersal shield feels somewhat flimsy, it deflects the heat outward from the burner unit like a boss. I wish the color somewhat matched the post, however. I recognize that it may not be possible due to discoloration over time, but it's still a wish. Anyway, it warms the area nicely and we are going to get good use out of it during the winter months. I assembled it by myself in about an hour. It's not difficult and the directions are outstanding with detailed and labeled pictures. Additionally, the hardware package is great since all the types of screws, nuts, etc and separated into labeled compartments. Great touch from the manufacturer. I'm impressed. Nicely and Tightly packed. Very easy to follow directions. All holes lined up. First one took about 45 mins. following instructions, second from memory took about 30 mins. It comes with a throwaway wrench, but to facilitate and cruise through the assembly use the tools shown if you have them. Haven’t hooked up propane yet. So finger’s crossed that they fire up as easy as they went together. ... show more
