I bought this because I wanted something to use an existing wired camera I have that records 24/7. A lot of doorbell cameras don’t record 24/7. I’ve had doorbell cameras but taken them off and wasn’t really happy with them. I live in a condo so I share a walkway with my neighbor and I get “false” notifications all the time. His packages getting delivered or him using his front door all the time. Now I have my light bulb camera set up to be pointed on the ground so I’ll get a false notification when he walks to his door but an extra one if I have a package set on my ground. Perfect. It’s just what I needed!

Product accessories are rich and comprehensive, lamp holder extension, 6 wire cards, waterproof tape can be a good seal power line connection, waterproof effect is very good. My Blink camera is super easy to use, and battery cameras no longer have to worry about battery life and charging. How can there be such a good lamp holder, more cost-effective than WYZE lamp holder. The power supply provided by the USB interface can support the use of any 5v1.5A product, and the screw bulb supports various types of bulbs: such as wifi smart bulbs, PIR induction bulbs. But this model doesn't support tungsten bulbs. If your camera needs power this lamp holder is your best choice ,highly recommended ！！！

I have a couple of nichos on both sides of our front door at our house where I bought these USB adaptors to fit in the 3" recessed light nicho so that I could mount a security camera and power it with this adaptor. Unfortunately the casing on this adaptor is too big to fit in the nicho. I had to buy another adapter similar to this one that fit without a problem. So I don't recommend this one if your space is constrained where you plan on using this.
