This was a great little spice up for my M235i. I’m definitely a “brand snob”, so since this was not made by BMW I didn’t really know what to expect. My expectations were met! I read a review that someone else posted and they emphasized to take your time. I would agree 100%. I have built racing engines and tooled on dozens if not hundreds of cars over the years but I am NOT a body work person or do I claim to be, but I am a perfectionist so that helps! I had a couple of small bubbles I thought I might not be able to get out but with a heat gun on low and something to make a pin hole in the decal everything laid down nice and flat. Took me a while to get them on but definitely worth it. I do suggest to watch a video on how to apply them, there are plenty on youtube.

Ordered these for my 2006 MX-5 Miata. They shipped on time and arrived in a cardboard tube. I pulled them out of the tube and noticed that there was already a crease in one of the decals on one side. Well, I can just install the hashmark outside of the wheel well and cut it off as excess. I installed the decal but immediately noticed that it was not adhering to the curves of the front fender. As I continued down to the wheel well the decal started puckering as it had difficulty following the crease of the lip on the wheel well. I tried using a plastic spatula that I had from previous installs of this kind of thing (Lamin-x) and could not get it to work, it was a mess. So I scrapped that one and tried it with the second one, same issue. Finally ended up just throwing the whole thing out. I've done vinyl decal and Lamin-x installs before and never had these kinds of issues. I do like the look so I will probably have this done at a local shop instead. I should have just saved my money and had it done professionally in the first place. Save your money and have it done or get another product that is specifically made for your car. ... show more

The yellow is like a Tonka yellow, which is exactly what I was after. The installation was intimidating but I got through it without any issue. I cleaned the fender, used blue masking tape to set some guide points, then got a spray bottle of warm water with a couple drops of dish soap, sprayed down the fender, stuck the end of the stripes and work my way down, making sure everything perfectly aligned before squeegy-ing out the water (i used a credit card with a microfiber folded over it), then used a razor blade and followed the bottom of the fender with a 1/4" tail to fold over the fender lip. Some of the more dramatic bulges in the fender needed a hair drier to warm up and soften the vinyl to get it follow the contours without wrinkling. Left it out in the sun to dry and what little bubbles remained have worked themselves out. ... show more
