I found the Govee brand to work well and I have been at this for about five years now. I have a strip light and two different variations of TV backlights. So when I had a use for a plug control device and saw that Govee offered one, I snatched it up. actually, I found this four pack so that seemed like a good idea. I've used these before for temporary situations, like turning Christmas lights on/off, but I bought some Roku speakers and there's no easy way to turn them on and off so, VOILA! Govee to the rescue. I added the two devices and then added the two devices to a group so now I can tell Alexa "turn Roku speakers on". The setup is simple. The Govee plugs do pretty well. The ones I used for Christmas lights were outside (I would tape them inside of a ziplock bag) but heck they lasted about five years.

Love these! So simple to set up. I have had other "smart home" products that were so much more difficult and unreliable. I'm using mine with Alexa and it works great. Just register it with the Govee app and the Alexa app picks it up automatically. Range is kind of amazing. I have one of them inside a metal box in my landscape lighting controller and it still reaches my router! Very good value in the four pack.

Extremely fast and easy to set up. I already had the app for a kettle I used from Govee, the app recognized the plugs right away and I was able to set up the automation exactly how I wanted. It took less than 5 minutes to set up all of my grow lights to automatically come on with the sunrise and turn off with the sunset. Also convenient that I can just group up the plugs to use the same automations, I don’t have to configure each one. Will definitely be buying again!!

These were a little work to set up, but they work well. The only thing is, they won’t work for items that you have to turn on physically. Like if you connect a fan to this and turn it off, turning it back on does not turn the fan on. Kinda disappointed it didn’t work for what I was hoping, but still a good product if your device powers on automatically when the power is switched on.

The smart plugs are a really useful and reliable products. They do exactly as intended. It turns nonsmart small appliances or nonsmart lights into smart lights. The setup is easy. You can set timers, auto power-on or autopower-off. Even set it to turn on or off when the sun rises or sets.

Very easy to install, works right away too. I already had the Govee app (which you need to use this product) so it connected right away through the app. It was easy to set up a schedule for my outdoor lights but the schedule is a 24 hr clock like military time, no am or pm option. I don’t have Alexa so I’m not sure about that part of it.

Amazing plugs! Super easy to set up on the Govee app, then added them to Alexa! It’s both voice controlled and app controlled! I created schedules and it’s been serving me well. I also love how there is a manual button to turn it on and off. It’s the best smart plug I purchased! It’s small, round, and doesn’t take up much space!

I've been a Wemo user for a long time, but recently they announced they were discontinuing support of their older products. These plugs were easy to configure. I've use Govee products before and already had the App on my iPhone. I plugged in the unit and ran discovery. The app saw the plug and once you press the button on the side of the unit, the plug was configured for WIFI. You can rename and add a schedule right away. The only issue is that the unit is too large to allow 2 plugs to be install in a duplex outlet. I do wish they were a bit smaller; hence the 4 star rating.
