Despite all that abuse, it hasn’t cracked or stopped working. I do blow on the ports before connecting to clear out any debris, but I’m not sure how much that actually helps. I used it for both my MagSafe charging car mount and my dash cam. My existing one listed as 36W didn't provide power to my MagSafe mount so I suspect it was the adapter power requirement. I was correct as this one power both the mount and the dash cam without issues. Great price as well!
