I had this item installed in May at Best Buy. It’s not July and it doesn’t work. Had Best Buy look at it and they showed me how my radio still works but the kit does not. To spend $500 on something to only last two months is upsetting. I would buy directly from Best Buy and spend the $50 more to make sure you can get your money back if it goes bad. Put in my 16 fusion se wit the 4 inch display was a bit confusing following the instructions bt once u slow down and take ur time it’s all pretty much straight forward and more simple than we thought it would have been I absolutely love it and the more modern and slick look it give my dash

This is a decent A/C replacement, but if not correctly installed or over used it shorts out fast and, the screen melts easily in high heat, such as direct sunlight.

I used this to install a new Kenwood DVA7706S Radio into my '16 Ford Fusion. At the time I did this project, this was the only dash kit that anyone had in stock for my car. Pros: -Does the job. This kit is mostly complete. It has all the major wiring to connect up a new radio to the factory wiring harness. Once you get all radio wires soldered, the actual radio install is rather straight forward. -Tech Support is based in the US and very helpful and thorough. -The look is good and clean and doesn't scream after market radio like some setups. The touchscreen HVAC controls give a more modern look to a car. Cons: -Expensive. Other options are a fair amount less. -The directions are not completely clear. The worst part was the section on wiring up the steering wheel controls. That took some -This involved a LOT of wires. It got to be a bit of a task to cram all the wires into my dash behind the radio for a clean look, and I had a rather shallow head unit. A deeper head unit with a CD player could be a challenge to get everything in. -Does not support using the car's factory microphone. I had to use the mic that came with the radio. Using the factory one would have been a bit cleaner of an install. -Does not use the car's factory USB port(s). Recommendations: -Read and re-read the directions. -Before you start wiring anything, download the software from Metra and update the system to the latest version. -I had to get a antenna adapter for the SiriusXM radio antenna and a USB/AUX port to enable those features on my new radio. ... show more

Had this installed about a year ago. It has malfunctioned 4 times now. Each time, I have to take it back to the radio installer bc they have to pull the radio to get to the fuses. Super frustrating !!!! I want a refund.

Only reason it's getting 2 stars is because it allows Me to put and aftermarket radio in. I had to purchase this twice because the first one broke within a month breaking my stereo with it. The manual also doesn't give clear instructions for connecting everything causing you to have to call tech support which by tje way is rude and not helpful at all you are better off keeping your radio stock do not purchase!!! ... show more
