For the price and overall compatibility, this was a no Brainer for me when the competing brands are 300+... I ended up using some interior paint to better(nearly perfectly) match the rest of my C5 interior. It is missing the screw hole in the cigarette lighter area, but not a big deal to make one. Not too bad. Looks amazing for the price point. Needs work to look OEM perfect but what doesn’t? The only downside and reason for 4 instead of 5 is that the drill guide is a tiny bit skewed so it didn’t drill straight and when I tried to mount the AC controls. It didn’t line up right. Couldn’t determine why some of these cost over $200 but this is under $50 so I bought it and after doing a multi step paint job it looks great and fits my new Sony Double Din size head unit. Best Buy installed it since it was free with the radio purchase from them. Best Buy did charge me about $30-40 because I didn’t buy this or the radio harness from Best Buy (they only sold the $200 unit and the radio harness required for radio was more expensive than Amazon for same thing). So I ended up paying a lot less with this thing for only $50 and essentially paying $30 for a 2 hour install from pro (Best Buy) ... show more

    • Fits OK, the finish leaves a bit to be desired.....
I had high hopes for this unit but it fell a little bit short for me in the finish department. Within a week, flakes of the flat black finish started to come off. Not huge pieces, but enough that it makes the console look old and pretty tacky. The finish does not come close to mimicing the original plastic finish in the car, which has withstood the years of wear and tear quite well. This unit came with a very pronounced flat finish where the original is a bit 'shinier' than that. I should have painted it before I had it installed. The fit was just right. I bought it for a stereo installer to use in replacing the stock stereo, and they had no problem getting it in OK. ... show more

I ordered 1 and got it replaced twice. Finish is cheap and damaged easily (seems the plastic is to smooth for good adhesion). I really wanted to like this product as a name brand one is about $300. All of the products had finish damage straight out of the box in the same place. I have not installed it yet but i did keep the 3rd product even though the finish was damaged due to it being so cheap. I will probably remove the finish and scuff the surface some and possibly hydro dip a new finish on with some clear coat. I reached out for product support with no success on hearing back from them. one of the numbers is no longer in service. I left message on the other phone number and reached out via email. never got a response from anything. Then ONLY reason I am keeping the last one I got and not giving a 1 star review is because the price is so low compared to a name brand option. ... show more

Best value for being able to fit a double din radio into your c5 corvette. It is a little labor intensive process especially with having to cut or drill out factory brackets but comes with good detailed instructions. The color does not quite match rest of interior components but putting a little vinyl protectant on this makes it look alot better. I also chose to give up on the cars factory 12v plug and install a USB one in its place since I had the panel off. More good news is this cup holder is slightly better at holding things than the one on the factory console. ... show more
