Ok first of all this is not a vacuum to do your house, keep your cord vacuum. If you want to clean something up real quick with out dragging out your big one and deal with a cord, this is not bad, in my opinion. I live in a 700 square foot apartment. Not a lot of carpet. The media could not be loaded. I have the 1st generation iconic yellow collered, reguo Dyson vacuum from Amazon refurbished and it is still running today, some 8 years or more. Now I have this stick Tyson v7. It's perfect for my living space. Dyson is the name brand that put the spotlight on the importance of a good, cleaning device for inside the home. They still run circles around all of the others with their state of the art, design and 2nd to none materials by which they are produced.     • handy, versatile and doris a good job
I bought this vacuum to get under the beds and do the stairs as my others were too cumbersome for these tasks. Happy to say it does the job. The battery doesn’t last as long as I thought it would, but that gives me a good excuse to quit for the day!

Can’t go wrong with a Dyson, well this one anyway. I’m very pleased with this product. And it picks up my long hair without having to unravel it from the rollers after every time I vacuum. Good product.

At first I thought this vacuum didn’t pick up dirt well, but later I found that the floor tool can get turned wrong without my noticing. Im not sure I like having to keep my finger on the start button all the time. It’s somewhat awkward especially when it’s a little hard to maneuver with the one hand anyway. ... show more

    • Big improvement over previous versions
The last one was 'ok' and subject to a lot of clogging. This one is a lot better and could suck the spots off of a leopard. I really like it - I was surprised at how much better the carpets looked the first time I used it

    • Easy for Mom to vacuum
My Mother has lung cancer, therefore sometimes not having the strength for a large vacuum. She loves it. Just wish the battery lasted longer. RDH

This is ok but not as powerful as later models. If you use the high suction power mode then the battery runs down quickly.
