    • Won't go back to a traditional broom
Been using mine for about two weeks and I love it. A full charge is plenty to sweep my whole house. Not designed for large messes though. For example if you spill half a box of cereal on the floor, the capacity of the bin isn't large enough to hold it all, so you will need a broom. But for everyday maintenance, it's great. The green light really helps illuminate particles you can't otherwise see. Worth the money so far! ... show more

    • Do not buy if you have pets or children
If you have pets, kids, or just live in your space then do not buy this vacuum. This vacuum was probably made for a person living completely alone in their dust free one bedroom condo. This is quite possibly the worst vacuum I have ever used and it has been a huge regret and waste of money. Expensive garbage that I wish I saved the boxes for so I could have returned it. It never picks up everything with one pass over. It clogs constantly on pet fur. You have to have it at its max power to get anything suctioned up which means 10 minutes of cleaning at most. The ejection contraption for the dust bin is messy and just looks unpleasant over time. Depending on how much you’ve got to clean you’re constantly emptying out the bin.     • I Think You Will Like It and Enjoy Using It
I give this 5 stars for its convenience and for its technology. I deducted a star because of its high price, which I would accept more had Dyson included a spare battery, as they did and still do for the same exact vacuum sold in Japan. If you want to run this at full power with the Fluffycones head, battery life is about 8 minutes. If you run it on the eco setting, battery lasts plenty of time. Emptying the bin couldn't be easier. Washing the filter is also easy once you get used to how to snap the filter onto the piece it connects to. The green laser lights are fabulous. Gliding the vacuum is nice. Due to it being so light and convenient, you're more likely to vacuum your bathroom floor and kitchen floor more often. If you stop the vac and then lean it against something instead of resting it on its dock, be careful it does not ultimately fall over, because if it slams down a certain way due its battery at the top, the middle part can become loose. ... show more

Finally replaced our old Dyson stick vacuum with a new PencilVac Fluffycones model. So far have to say it works great, so easy to maneuver and the green light front & back is awesome feature for really being able to see the dust and hair, etc., which can be tough to see otherwise. The disposal of the accumulated dust, hair, debris is very clever and actually soft of fun to do. All in all, very happy with it especially for our intended use, frequent cleaning of relatively smaller areas or hard to access areas (kitchen, short hallways, closets, under some furniture, so forth.     • A Great Idea well executed through Dyson Excellence
Expensive, but good. Dyson quality and my wife just loves it. We have had Dyson V10 for sometime but as we get older my wife has struggled with the weight of the V10. The pencil van is so light by comparison. Suction is strong and the collector is simple to empty. The LED light is great for aging eyes as it clearly highlights even small crumbs on the floor. The charging stand is a great aid to easy install and storage, just which it was a bit cheaper. Is this great product a victim of tariffs? ... show more

    • Weak suction even with boost mode
It earns 2 star since it matches partial of its name, Pencil. I have a V8 for almost 10 years. I started to feel my hand being tired after using the V8 for 10-15 minutes due to its weight. When I saw this PencilVac rolled out, I thought this would be my next Vacuum for the next 10 years. However, it only brings disappointment. The PencilVac is light, as its name. The battery is the handle, so it’s easy to roll and sweep. The green light also reveals all the dust on the floor. The suction, however, is like a joke. When I used it on my hard wood floor, it always left a string of dust. At first I thought it was because the green light reveals the dust which was not visible with the V8, but when I used my V8 on the same floor, it had no issue at all cleaning the surface with one sweep. Even using the boost mode did not clean either. I do not recommend this product. It serves no purpose spending over $500 to get a vacuum that doesn’t do the job with a few sweep. ... show more

    • Low suction, neat design
It's not very strong, even on the highest setting. Smooth operation and wonderful for tight spaces behind stuff and baseboards. But it doesn't suck in much other than the lightest of dust bunnies. For $600 I expected better.
