Expensive, but good. Dyson quality and my wife just loves it. We have had Dyson V10 for sometime but as we get older my wife has struggled with the weight of the V10. The pencil van is so light by comparison. Suction is strong and the collector is simple to empty. The LED light is great for aging eyes as it clearly highlights even small crumbs on the floor. The charging stand is a great aid to easy install and storage, just which it was a bit cheaper. Is this great product a victim of tariffs? ... show more

This vac is great for hard flooring like laminate or hardwood or tiles. Its fast and easy to use. It work good on regular hard no real length area rugs and crap on anything with medium or long length/ fluffiness. The suction is decent but not better then a actual dyaon vacuum. The fluffycones wad and spit out bunches of hair. Over all its expensive but easy to use for me with back and shoulder issues. Perfect for quick spot cleans. Battery last like 20 min or so.     • This would not be suitable if you had carpets, great on hardwood floors.
This is a phenomenal vacuum. I would say that it is great for doing hardwood floors, so lightweight and powerful for such a stick vacuum. I would also say that I have the Dyson Gen 5 outsize for my rugs, this is a two story house so the pencil vac is used for hardwood floors on first level. It does a good job and one of the features that I love is the on button instead of a trigger and of course the laser light. I am delighted to add this to my cleaning vacuums. ... show more

    • Weak suction even with boost mode
It earns 2 star since it matches partial of its name, Pencil. I have a V8 for almost 10 years. I started to feel my hand being tired after using the V8 for 10-15 minutes due to its weight. When I saw this PencilVac rolled out, I thought this would be my next Vacuum for the next 10 years. However, it only brings disappointment. The PencilVac is light, as its name. The battery is the handle, so it’s easy to roll and sweep. The green light also reveals all the dust on the floor. The suction, however, is like a joke. When I used it on my hard wood floor, it always left a string of dust. At first I thought it was because the green light reveals the dust which was not visible with the V8, but when I used my V8 on the same floor, it had no issue at all cleaning the surface with one sweep. Even using the boost mode did not clean either. I do not recommend this product. It serves no purpose spending over $500 to get a vacuum that doesn’t do the job with a few sweep. ... show more

    • Magical vacuum!
After I got it put together (with no help from useless videos and pictures) and got it charged up, I let it rip! It was very close to pulling me along. Completely magical. The laser shows all the dirt and cat hairs that I couldn’t see at all in daylight. It’s super flexible, and easily got into all the tight spots that somehow were missed before. Definitely order a second battery, when they are available. This vac is life-changing! Note: We have no carpeting, all tile, with a few small area rugs with low pile. And 3 cats. ... show more

Overpriced Dust Buster That Jams Up Used it once and some dirt got inside the container making it impossible to open. The gasket design must be flawed . I like other Dyson products but this PeniVac is too delicate to be a cordless vacuum . Sleek look but bad mechanical design .
