Features

  • Rapidly washes spills and stains. Powerfully removes wet spills and tough stains, harnessing capillary action to draw up waste liquid.
  • Lifts dust and debris like a vacuum.2 Densely packed filaments interlock to form microscopic hook-like structures, grabbing and lifting dry debris from hard floors.
  • Easy maintenance with new hot-air drying dock. Self-clean cycle flushes the whole system before drying the roller with 185F air.
  • Hygienic filter-free system. Cleans both dry and wet dirt without relying on an unhygienic filter. No bad odors expelled.1
  • Powerful motorized brush bar. A Dyson motor spins the brush bar at speed, to quickly and powerfully remove dirt from your floors.
  • Streak-free finish. Our most absorbent microfiber roller prevents water stains and streaking with 84,000 densely-packed filaments.
  • No clogging debris. Located at the cleaner head, a new hygienic waste system means no dirt is drawn upwards through the machine.
  • Fast dry time. Leaves less than 1g of water per meter2, allowing floors to dry within 60 seconds.
  • Removes and de-tangles hair. Embedded with nylon bristles, the microfiber roller picks up hair, even when wet. Anti-tangle comb positioned behind the roller helps prevent tangling, even on long hair up to 14 inches.
  • Self-cleaning roller always washes with clean water. With each rotation, dirty water and debris are scraped from the roller before its evenly hydrated with clean water.

Description

Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene™ is the wet and dry hard floor cleaner with no unhygienic filter. No clogging.¹ No bad smells emitted.¹ Unlike other machines which depend on dirty exhaust filters that accumulate debris and bad smells, Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene™'s hygienic system keeps waste in the cleaner head, so there's no clogging pipes or dirt drawn up through the machine. 84,000 microfiber filaments rapidly absorb every kind of mess, no suction needed. While the self-cleaning mechanism removes dirt and hair with every rotation. The automatic waste separation system keeps dirty water separate from dry debris for easy and hygienic disposal. The Self-clean cycle flushes the system after every use and the hot hair drying dock prevents growth and odors. Easily switch between four power modes to tackle anything from hair and debris, to sticky spills and dried-on stains. For best results, add Dyson 02 Probiotic formulation to clean water.¹Comparisons based on design differences: vacuums with exhaust filters can release odors or microorganisms during use. Because our machine has no exhaust filter, there is no re-emission from a filter. Tested against Staphylococcus Aureus and wet dog odor.²For use on hard floor only.³Tested internally, average time for the participants to remove the debris tray from the cleaner head and tap out the dry debris.

  • LOVE this mop!
This mop is great. My house is all hardwood and tile flooring, and mopping has been my most hated chore. Until I got this mop! I can mop the entire house (2,200 Sq. ft) in under an hour. I do need to refill the water reservoir, and empty the dirty water tank before finishiong, but neither is difficult to do. It's so easy to push around and steer. It gets under the couch and other furniture with ease. I do vacuum the floor with my Dyson vacuum before using this mop, but that's not difficult either. I was hesitant about spending so much, but am so glad I did. It's worth every dollar! Dyson does not disappoint! ... show more

  • Dyson is the best and I'm so thrilled with this product! Dyson is the best and I'm so thrilled with this product!
I liked this mop so much I actually purchased a second for my Mom for an early birthday present! This works excellently and very efficiently. I have many, many dyson products in my house from household items to hair styling tools and for a reason, the quality is just spectacular and the products make my life easier in the process. I was so excited to try this mop, I've never tried a mop from dyson before and I can't believe I haven't sooner. I love that this also captures other dust and debris on my floor as well so I don't feel as if I need to vacuum before - saving me time, once again. The suction is fantastic, This is a definitely a lightweight device, I can easliy carry it from my upstairs to downstairs area with no effort at all. The self cleaning feature is just above and beyond what I ever expected I don't have to touch any gross pads like other mops I've used in the past and there is no smell or anything afterwards. I am absolutely in love and this was worth every penny. I would highly, highly recommend. I am so happy I finally tried a Dyson 2 in 1 mop! The screen on the front is very helpful, informative when you need to charge, empty the dirty water tank, refill the water tank, etc. The self propelling is incredibly helpful, makes mopping so effortless and there is nearly no resistance at all when you drag the mop backwards either. This is the best product I've tried in a very long time. ... show more

  • Don’t waste your money
Pretty poor performer for being a Dyson. I think a regular mop does a way better job, you could actually tell where you cleaned at the least.

  • Hands Down Better, Faster (And More Hygienic) Then Mopping!
As an avid Dyson user, I was looking forward to an eventual upgrade to the Wash G1. I didn't go with the G1 due to some lackluster reviews, predominately the smell the roller would eventually get after sitting wet for a while. I waited a bit before trying this out to see how the "vacuum experts" reviewed this. I always take these reviews with a grain of salt as they are often biased based on pricing and so forth (and a strange distaste for Dyson in general). Since I don't have any experience with the G1, I can only speak on this as a new user of this type of product. Firstly, the name is kind of silly but Dyson seems to drop the ball on naming sometimes (PencilVac, great name -- Clean+Wash Hygiene, not so great name). I've been a long time steam mop user (Shark model) and have never felt that it cleaned the greatest. The pads would get dirty quickly and I would have to replace them frequently to not push dirty water around. The other downside was it took a while to dry so I'd have to be strategic on where I started and finished. It also wasn't cordless so I was moving outlets as I moved around the house. The biggest hassle was having to refill the tank every 10 mins or so and having to fully vacuum the house before mopping. All-in it probably took a little over an hour to vacuum and steam mop the entire house. Enter the Dyson C+W! I don't consider my house to be filthy but we try to mop every couple of weeks. I don't have any pets and generally don't spill much so the floor contains mainly hair, dust bunnies and whatever comes off shoes. I wanted to see how "clean" the Shark Steam Mop was getting the floors so I performed my typical procedure first. Vacuumed the house and mopped with the Steam Mop. Once it was dry, I setup the Dyson and got to work. I wanted to make sure the first pass was a deep clean so I chose the highest water setting (3 Water Droplets) and started cleaning. Using it feels like vacuuming. I went slow and used overlapping passes just like I would with a standard vacuum. Naturally since I was using the max water mode, I had to empty and refill the tanks more than once. In total was three. I also learned that you don't need as much solution (I now use only 1/2 a cap) as after a while the foam would build up in the roller area and leave foam on the floor. I was blown away with how dirty the water was after "cleaning" with the steam mop first. This first experience told me all I needed to know about whether this was a good choice. Is it perfect? No. I do have a few complaints but they are minimal and things I can live with. The lever to get the roller off and back on is not great. Its flimsy and can be fiddly to get back into place. Also, the hair trapping doesn't really work and still gets stuck on the outsides of the roller. Lastly the water tank drips when pulling it off to refill which just makes an unneeded mess. I found that cleaning the head, roller, dirt tray and "hair trap" were pretty simple. The battery life is excellent and I like the countdown timer on the handle. The self cleaning/drying cycle is great however be warned that it is pretty loud so make sure you have the base in another room (ours is in the laundry room). Also be sure to empty and clean the head before starting the self clean or you'll have to empty it again half-way through. Once its done, I typically remove and clean the head once more, refill the water tank and its ready for the next use. I usually clean the roller every 2-3 uses. This is straight forward, I use dish soap and a brush to agitate the roller then to a few rinses until the water is clear. I then let it air dry (or do a cleaning cycle with little water in the tank to let it dry it) To do the entire house, including cleaning the device and the clean cycle was half the time I was spending previously. You can really feel how clean the floors are when you are done and they dry super fast since this thing sucks up the dirty water! We now use this weekly and only on the light water (Single Water Droplet) setting and that has gotten my total time of cleaning down to about 35 minutes. As most things Dyson, this is priced on the higher side however it is priced lower than the G1 was when it launched and is a better value for sure. If you have predominantly hard floors in your house and aren't a very messy person, this is the perfect alternative to mopping (and likely more hygienic if the enzyme based solution actually does what they claim). ... show more

  • Too expensive to have basic usability problems
Priced too high to have usability flaws. The head is fiddly to clean, and during routine actions like removing the dirty AND the clean water tanks, which you will do at least 2x for each tank (so 4x at a minimum!) per use, it drips water everywhere. The head drips “gray” water after removing the dirty water assembly (it’s not from the dirty tank, but from all the bits that surround the cleaning heads). The clean water tank even squirts during attachment/removal due to the way it presses into the body with a valve. The build quality I would say is comparable to their recent cordless vacuums — so quite plasticky and creaky-sounding when you interact with the parts. The nail in the coffin for me was that during the drying cycle it operates at full-loudness for about 30 minutes. It’s one thing to make noise during the brief “cleaning” portion of the self-cleaning cycle, but it doesn’t need to make such loud noises during the longer “drying” portion. My robot vacuum as an example dries nearly silently for 3 hours, it just takes much more time, which I think would have been a fair trade off. Didn’t have battery life issues on my ~1200 sq ft of use. Do note that it won’t run the cleaning cycle unless the battery is charged above a threshold, so you better not forget to run the cycle later on if you can’t run it immediately after finishing! ... show more

  • not cleaning. more effort than manual.
It's dyson, and usually Dyson are great. but this one, I dont get it. 1. it does not clean - just smears water around. 2. water last for about 1-2 square meter. including the emptying tank. manually washing the floor is half the time and effort. 3. the cleaning cycle on the dock - is like 40min, very very noisy. really - i don't get it. Maybe it is good for very dirt floor, and for very small spaces. for normal , weekly wash, it's just not worth it. ... show more
