  • A nice stock pot
Size: 8 Qt
Holds way more that it appears to. Made soup and it yielded over 8 qt!

  • Sturdy!
Size: 6.5 Qt
I was so sad to received a nicked pot, esp the top edge of the lid. The seller lafraise did not pack it properly with enough padding so I started a return. I've ordered the same exact pot bc I can tell it's sturdy and it is 18/10 stainless steel. Hopefully this time around the seller will put more padding so the plastic film does not break around the lid. Same seller lafraise sent me the 1.6 qt saucepan and no issues with that order, arrived with the plastic intact, beautiful saucepan. Crossing my fingers this 6.5 qt arrives in a better condition than the first one!!! ... show more

  • Quality....but 8QTS???
Size: 8 Qt
The pot is nice, just what I was looking for. It is heavy duty, and very attractive. BUT, 8 quarts? NO. It clearly marked on the inside of the pot that it is 7 liters to the top line (maybe 1/8 to1/4 inch from the top). This means the pot is really only 7.4 quartz! This is actually fine with me--I was just looking to replace a 5 quart pot with something a little bigger--it is, so I'm happy. But if the size matters to you for specific cooking needs-it is not 8 quartz. Just FYI ... show more

  • A well made pot.
Size: 8 Qt
This is a well made pot. It distributes heat evenly and works beautifully in the induction cook top.

  • Did not receive pot with matte finish.
Size: 8 Qt
I chose this pot because of the matte finish, or brushed finish as shown in the description. It has a mirror finish. I was about to buy a cheaper pot with a mirror finish, when I saw this pot with the matte finish. IMO, the upkeep would be simpler. Then I got this pot, and it has a mirror finish as well. The pot seems well constructed and is heavy as heck! Even the lid is heavy. I haven’t used it yet because I’m considering sending it back. It simply isn’t what I wanted for this price. Call me picky, I don’t care. 😊 ... show more

  • Sturdy Stainless Steel Pot
Size: 6.5 Qt
This pot was nicer looking than what we expected. Very shiny and sturdy. The receiver who needed a new cooking pot, but did not expect one, was very happy with what she received. She said it was "perfect." I have since heard she has been using it a lot and still says it is "perfect."

  • The perfect pot
Size: 8 Qt
I was extremely happy to find this pot with exactly what I was looking for to replace an old pot that has served me well for the last 20 years. This is a very sturdy pot with the right thickness for even heat distribution and to help prevent scorching. Overall, this is a little bit more stylish than a restaurant pan would be, but not nearly as chic as many home cooking pots with big brand names. The handles on the side and top are fairly utilitarian but sturdy and they are properly riveted to the pot with no tendency to retain any debris, so easy to clean. The bottom is slightly rounded at the corners, making the bottom of the pot about an inch narrower than the top of the pot. This is probably a little more than is necessary to clean the pot, but certainly no inconvenience and there are no dead spots in the pot to get overheated or not mix well. The sides are perfectly straight, which as any cook will tell you is preferable to a pretty but curved/bulged wall that can overheat the sides and cause scorching on the walls. Therefore, you can max out your burner size on this pan without problems. This is attractive, but not what you'd call a pretty pot. The steel is polished, but not highly polished like with more expensive cookware. There is a slight grain in the steel, but not like a brushed stainless. The bottom also happens to be the exact same thing as the sides, and in my opinion, is easily the only real con for the unit. Because I have a gas stove with iron grates, this scratches the bottom just in regular use, which means I probably won't use it for anything more than just family in a year or two. It's already pretty marred up after about 6 months. If someone were using this on a glass top stove, it would probably stay looking very nice much longer. The lid is also pretty utilitarian and without much for style. But it does what a lid is supposed to do, is fairly solid, and sits on the rim of the pan perfectly. There are no steam holes or vents so a hard boil will make it vibrate slightly to let the steam escape. Overall, I would gladly buy this pan again and recommend it. ... show more

  • Great Value
Size: 8 Qt
We have a a couple of Duxtop pans in our Summer home, and they perform quite well, so when we needed a soup pot, we ordered this Stockpot. We are very satisfied with the quality and appearance. It works perfectly on an induction cooktop.
